Day 29 - Pest activity has been less, sprayed them today with bioneem. Gave them 3 waterings this week (2l at 2ml/l Biogrow). They seem happy, going to increase the feeding dose this week. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk2 points

So i was wondering what else people are growing in their setups? I've started cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce seedlings in my clone room, which will be moved outside in several weeks. They are loving the 300 watt LED. So what else have you guys grown or are currently growing? ***420sa this is not vegetable code*** Dead serious about the veggies i'm growing and want to know what other people are growing.1 point

Seeing as it is summer and I am to exited to wait ~9months to harvest a photo, I thought I would start my first grow with auto's outdoor. I did a lot of reading before I decided to start my first grow, but obviously still have a lot to learn along the way. I have started the grow at the beginning of October and tomorrow they will be 3 weeks above soil. Okay, so I ordered the Critical Ogre seeds from a local seedbank and recieved the Onyx as a freebie and decided to plant one Critical Ogre and the one Onyx. I stocked up with the following in preperation of the grow: Jiffy Pellets 20L Freedom Pots Organic Promix Biobizz Bio-Grow Biobizz Bio-Bloom and for combating pests: Biogrow Ferramol Biogrow Bioneem As you can see, I am going to try growing organic. They are currently receiving 7hours direct sunlight and daylight in my area is currently 13 hours.1 point

If you're into cannabis juicing and using the plant as a whole then perhaps its best to find an alternative to neem just to be on the safe side. I've read up on the possible benefits of using peppermint and rosemary essential oils as pesticide sprays. Something you can make at home as well. They smell way better too1 point

I've noticed bad effects on the plants after spraying with the recommended dosages. I think if the concentration of the oil is too high on the leaves it will get too hot, especially indoors and will literally fry the leaf. I've seen quite a lot of talk lately of the campaign against neem oil. Perhaps there's some truth to this. Neem oil is meant to disrupt the digestive system of pests. There's just the question of whether it can affect humans as well. It shouldnt be all over the bud anyway.. @Green Leaf Organics do you spray anything as a preventative?1 point
-
I actually stopped because some of my strains just didn't like neem oil and reacted badly and then all this stuff started coming out about Azadirachtin and just stayed clear of it just in case. I didn't need to use it anyway1 point

Sorry guys forgot about this thread. Will catch you up on what's happening. CBD Cannabis is a fussy thing to grow. She is pure sativa. Thin little leaves and a thin main stem. For good measure I includes some of the Green Cracks pics as she sneaked into the first pic. Installed a drip system this weekend as I will be away in December. Sup Ladies n Gents, Everyone has got some cool spots to medicate at When I medicate I love to do so in nature, especially near water, I think it helps to reconnect with Mother Nature and appreciate the beauty of what’s around us! We are also made up of some ridiculous percentage of water, and I find it very calming and relaxing. Somehow waterfalls draw me and friends in. That’s why these are my favorite spots to medicate! Water + nature + THC & CBD = health and happiness! First up, the Drakensburg - Tiger Falls! And a picture from the hike up there! Second up, Karkloof falls1 point

I do not think they came with the soil as it was purchased from my local hydroponic shop which they make up themselves (I assume as there are no branding on the bags), could be wrong and only started having problems when I moved them to a more sunnier spot. It does seem that there are less bugs on the plants, I sprayed them with Neem Oil again last night and added a top layer of Diatomaceous Earth afterwards. The lower leaves received the most damage, but new growth seems okay. It looks like they have been stunted a bit, expected them to be a bit bigger by now, these photos were taken last night - Day 24 A makeshift wind shield was placed around the plants for the last 4 days due to high winds.1 point

I had this problem with fungis knats , try this, place a 2-3cm layer of perlite over the top soil . Ive heard that Sharp sand also works (Builders sand) but I've tried the perlite and I know that worked for me.1 point

Which brings us to today. Have not been home in two days, but my friend has informed me something took a few big bites from the leaves, something as in slugs or caterpillars. Biogrow Ferramol added on top of the soil and the surrounding area. Hopefully it is not to bad when I am back tomorrow morning. Also considering adding diatomaceous earth (as I have free access to it), just not sure how much to add as a top layer.1 point

Day 15 - Fed with 2ml/l Bio grow last night with 2L, gave more volume as usual as the last few days it was 30 degrees C +. Noticed today one of the leaves are curling over upwards, dont think it is due to the higher dose, as it is only one leave. Still struggling with the mites, found lady bugs in my garden and moved them to the plants, hopefully they will help.1 point

After 4 days, roots started poking out of the Jiffy Pellets and decided to plant them in their forever homes.1 point

Did a 22 hour soak followed by planting the seeds in Jiffy Pellets and moved them outside underneath a humidity dome (removed humidity dome when transplanted to pots). 4 days later both showed their faces above ground1 point

Little update a few days later, plants seem to be taking off nicely. I decided to drench the soil of all my seedlings with some soil enhancer this morning. EMPro-Soil for essential microbes.1 point

This went south so quick, forgot to bring seedling tray in after watering and taking pic, peat dried up and 'sprout' was blown out the container. Picked her up on the floor, not looking impressed. She's back in now, let's see if she makes it. The cheese made it, but to be honest, the source is not that reliable, so it could be anything. Anyway, using a 600x1200 Gthydro tent (yes, I've had to fix the zips) running 400w MH/HPS and 9000BTU AC. Nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done nicely. Would love to get myself another tent for perpetual growing... Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk1 point
