  1. 2 weeks later and the females are settling in well. Structure forming quite well. Currently 70cm and considering if I want a conifer or if I'm going to top at 1m. The bottom pic is the male I chose out of the males. The same bushy structure is one of my selection criteria. He is going into force flower for pollen collection now before summer is out.

  2. It was in the seedling mix to long , have a look at the grow diary and you will see it's been hungry for a while. That coupled with transplant shock is your issue. You can not wash nutrients out unless stated by 420sa you out huge amounts of water . 2ml per L biobizz with a 25% runoff to start , folior feed with Epsom at 1g per L and give her time to root properly and she will recover nicely . Good advice given by 420sa on aact and the microbes . Sorry it cant be a longer answere , busy day

  3. Hi All, I must say, following this forum has reignited my passion for wanting to kickstart a long lost favorite tradition. Mozambican seeds [emoji271] have just began to shoot & I am pretty much amped about getting my plant up and running. I have grown a few years back , when I was a bachelor. Got married , quit the habit on a whole and now eager to get back on track. Finding a dealer is too taxing and stressful, hence the urge to grow my own. Hope I get to harvest by Xmas [emoji51] I welcome any advice :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Sorry missed him saying that. I'm not so sure about the nutrients being flushed away... organics doesn't work like that unless you are flooding that medium and getting huge amounts of runoff. Either the mg isn't there to begin with or there's a PH lockout. I'm sure there's meant to be a good deal of mg in the mix though, enough for young plants at least. The notion that you need to be feeding now is false in my view. I don't see the need to feed plants at all actually during veg. I still haven't fed a drop of bottled nutrient to my organic plants 68 days into flower now so it's possible Perhaps your soil needs a microlife boost as well @YourStonedBuddy. Not sure if you may have experienced the same but I've heard about guys getting their ff soil and its dry. A dry soil is a microbe-less soil. Best you brew an AACT or get some EM in there. Will help with your PH too Get some worm castings and give your soil a top dress with that. Then use it for your AACT's too

  5. Howzit guys I must apologise profusely for the lack of proper updates lately. It's a mix of being insanely busy, having too much on my plate and a touch of laziness on the side It's been a big struggle with heat here. Sometimes my canopy temps sit at 36!! and that was on a mildly hot day.... As a result I'm sure it has costed me yield with some fox tailing evident and just general signs of heat stress. Not too bad but evident, especially on the Blue Kush .... I do have a portable AC but I need to figure out how to work it with my current setup. I can't have the AC in the tents so it needs to sit outside the tents... then I need to figure out a way to get the temperature sensor of the AC into my flower tent so the temp can be somewhat regulated... I'm only concerned about the heat in my flower tent. Anyways here are the plants. Taken last Thursday. PO CBD #1 - She had started swelling in this pic and is well into her swell at the moment. She'll be getting the chop as soon as the swell ends. Really nice sweet citrus smell coming off these PO CBD's. PO CBD #2 - still has a way to go by the looks of it. Bit worried about these buds being airy due to the heat. PO CBD #3 Hydro - also still a long way to go. Her and the PO #2 are pretty much on par. ASD Hydro - still by far the pick of the lot. She's nearing the end of her swell. Pungent fuel like smell coming off her, true to the name. Waiting anxiously for a portable microscope to arrive so I can check those trichs. She's put on a fair amount of mass, a lot more I reckon if the temps were ideal. BK Hydro - the flop of the lot. I hate this plant and I think she knows it lol its a real pity cos she smells amazing, like fruity candy. The buds have started stretching(due to high heat), the leaves claw no matter how much I flush. Utterly full of shit. I'll give her a last chance with her clone in organic soil that has gone into flower now too (see pic further down) but if she under performs again I won't be keeping the BK around. BK Clone Organic A recent addition to the tent. She has been topped and supercropped to slow her progress to allow the organic sour diesel to catch up to her. She's in my soil mix. ASD Clone Organic - Also just added to the tent. Let's see how these two do against the hydro siblings. They will have an advantage as I will be sorting out that heat issue. Im sure the next update will be when I'm most likely chopping the ASD and PO #1 Till then

  7. You guys really shade your plants? I have never had to shade plants. If they have enough water and enough nutrients available those plants pray to the sun in 46 degree heatwaves and grow so strong...

  20. It's calmag I had the exact problem. Feed calmag and it should bounce back. Also feeding every 3-4 days with no nutrients you're basically just flushing out everything else. Start your feeding cycle with some fishmix.

  21. Hey welcome bud. Yeah my story is similar to yours, got married, etc then stopped, but now the passion has come back! You are not going to harvest by Xmas lol - well unless you start an autoflower last week

  30. I have home made ones from a local supplier that pump out PAR and Lumens got 2 x 60w 1 x 300w multi spectrum( 120-150w actual draw) and 1 x 60 quantum board LED. No brand names like Mars etc but they hit the spot better than most people I knows more “premium” lights

  31. A little lst, but because it's an auto, I don't want to mess with her too much. 75 days isnt quite enough to get a proper training technique going. I could be wrong. I'm Old school, this is my first auto. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk

  37. Fungal gnats are more a pain in the ass then and actual problem. If you spraying weekly which you should be doing with a good IPM that should keep them under control. If you have mites, that however is a nightmare to get rid of and could possibly really set your plant back. Hope I'm wrong. Growing outside you really need to have a good preventive maintenance plan going, hence a IPM pack or similar.

  38. Great looking setup. Interested to see what you can put out Im busy starting to look into LED myself for veg. Theres a local chinese shop near me, the place is huge, and they sell a whole bunch of LED lights. None of which I know will be well suited for growing. In one aisle there are these boards that kinda look Qb board related but I know fuckall about LED setups so I could be completely wrong. Are these boards usable? They're about a meter long Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

  41. I say quantum boards but they're from China, but they have legit LM561C S6 top bin diodes (3500K) (confirmed with microscope) The picture obviously doesn't show the true brightness of it. I will be adding deep and far red when I have some spare cash for Emerson effect. May I ask which vendor you used on ailibaba? Also how much did you pay in duties percentage wise? How long did delivery take? Are you happy with the built quality? Sorry for all the questions but thanks in advance

  44. Top of the morning Chrislovesdagga[/member] I trust this finds you well brother. Let's see if I can help out with some of those .. Mainline - is all about symmetry and getting all the colas same amount of nutrients so they can grow to an even height. Flux - is very similiar to above but I personally think it's a more refined method of a mainline . If you think of a wooden skeleton frame of a ships rib cage that is what a flux resembles once chopped... Now at the main 2 growth points on flux it's for a continuous nutrient flow to all arms that will end up being your main colas....as long as you keep the 2 growth points slightly higher than the rest of your tops to keep that continuity of flow working... LST - is Low Stress Training where you bend the branch with breaking it into a more pliable condition by rolling it gently between your fingers or gently bending over your finger. Then you can attach pipe cleaners or plant ties to the branches you want to keep trained in order to achieve your target... HST - is similiar to above but predominantly used outdoors as it involves less labor and materials needed, also only recommended during veg.. SCROG - ( Screen of Green ) similiar to lst except you use a screen/netting to create your canopy instead of lst so you wait for your plant to grow into your screen, then you essentially weave the branches under/between netting to create your level canopy and this lends to a sturdy support base for your colas.... SOG - ( Sea of Green ) so what you are doing here is creating an even canopy of colas but this method is done in small pots mainly as you are only mainly aiming for a single cola I believe but I might be mistaken... Topping - Topping is a simple ( HST ) method requiring little tools a pair of trimmer snips or scissors even your fingernails will do the trick. The goal is to remove the top of the plant, which will result in the top buds turning into 2 new branches, additionally it sends a shock to the rest of the plant that promotes growth in the lower branches... FIM - ( fuck I missed ) Now this is a more complicated version of topping, FIM involves removing a very specific amount of the top portion of the plant. By scoping out only the top most region of the new growth, the goal is to produce four-off shooting branches instead of two. Because of the complexity, this method takes significantly more time. Super Cropping - Stem mutilation is a more aggressive version of LST. Instead of tying down the top you're bending the branch until the fibers in the stem break and it folds over. The goal is not to snap the branch or even tear the skin of the stalk. To best do this , find the location you wish to break the branch and begin to roll and squeeze the stem. You will be able to feel it weaken and break down, and it will eventually be able to fall over. This method will give the rest of the plant more exposure to light and time to catch up to this top stalk. I've include a pic explaining the difference between topping and fimming.. I hope this helps you out brother and feel free to ask questions for you are uncertain..
