Hey all. I have blessed, again, with some sweet genetics but I'm not gonna use all but only 2. Budget is tight so it leaves me with the following 2 choices. #1 Go the cheaper route and get coir blocks and some Bio bizz veg & flower. Coir I get from supplier in Northern Suburbs and biobizz I can get from head office when travelling for work but getting it is based on break downs in that area. #2 Go to the hydro store and get some soil mix and Biobizz nutes. I am planning on getting 50L of Organic Promix and Veg & Flower nutes. I will also be making some teas as I go along. Freedom Farm or Promix But until then here are the list of candidates : Mendisino Skunk Laughing Buddha Red Cherry Berry Shiska Berry I am waiting on the following: Blue Gelato Chemdawg x Candyland1 point

In the spirit of sharing experiences, Here’s a pic of what LED light burn looks like. I have done a lot of research regarding how many umols I should be covering my canopy with. Firstly, it’s very seldom you find growers with the instruments to back up what they’re saying. A distance figure means little when everyone is using different lights. Even the manufacturers distance rating goes out the window when you’re using more, or less lights. The best info I’ve found, stated 700umol/m2/s as the golden number for LED. This one plant in my current run got a little more than that for about a week. So, I’ve raised my lights a little and getting an even 600umol/m2/s now. Based on my experience and measurements, I’d recommend 600 as the upper limit for full spectrum LED without CO2.1 point

Chemdawg x Candyland: Well Im guessing that the stretching has come to an end or will be pretty soon. The 1st pistils were noticed 2 weeks ago and since then she has grown a bit. The pic doesn't do her size justice but trust me she has much bigger. I have also noticed that she has 2 shades of green. The left side is lighter green than the right side. It's must be due to the breakage she had in the beginning. I attached a pic again to show where the break was. I still have not cleaned her up yet to much cause I am still gonna try and take a few cuttings just as an experiment. Don't have space for them really but hey there will be participants. Mendicino Skunk : This one has me amazed. She has grown at an incredible rate. She also started stretching about few days after the Cxc and seems to have come to an end too. Random Seed #1 ( might be NL) Random Seed #2 (Blue Kush Berry) The random seeds is also quite a surprise as to the speed they are growing in the soil.1 point

So, turns out my light meter sensor is not cosine corrected. My meter is reading low. Cosine correction is not linear, so one cannot just add, say 20%, but it’s what I have until I can hunt down a formula for cosine correction. My guesstimate is that the above plants were actually seeing around 900 umol.1 point

Sup. 3 weeks later and the CG is just starting to flower. The 2 BBs hit a meter and have been LSTed.1 point

If I googled correctly then that is a Phidippus audax or bold jumping spider. They are common in fields and grasslands, but mostly seen on fences, exterior walls, and gardens. Many jumping spiders seem to prefer flat vertical surfaces, due to the fact that it enables them to spot and chase down roaming insects with ease. So I guess they are all good where they are.1 point

Just two photos of how the girls are looking tonight. Older growth is shite but new growth is on point. Will be doing a batshit guano feed soon too. Counting down the days for my bonus so I can order the tent and get everything sorted for the next round to start soon. Hoping to start it in 2-3 weeks depending on how quick it ships to me. Chemdawg x Candyland Mendicino Skunk: Unknown#1: Unknown#2: Blue Gelato: The Blue Gelato is starting to grow at last. She has a bit of burned tips but I think its due to the CalMag feed.1 point

Transplanted the amnesia to a 10l today. The rest of the plants are still growing strong, well apart from the leaf damage. Initially thought it was sun burn but starting to think it is a deficiency. Foliar sprayed with Phyta and fed 1ml/l Biogrow, 1ml/Biobloom with some Environoc. Purple bud starting to get dense, opened her up a bit today.1 point

Sprayed them with pyrol in the evening last week and looks like they didn't like it to much, looks like sunburn? Apart from the burnt leaves they are all looking good, even the amnesia decided to join the party! I also topped the Purple Bud 3 days ago. Schemed these are outdoor plants and they will be treated as such, so I strapped them down with some bag ties and placed them back outside to endure their environment Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Amnesia broke soil today and Durban Poison (2) two days ago. Strong winds made the seedlings bend down. Moved them inside to the windowsill as rain and wind is expected for today. I will be transplanting the Purple Bud by end of this week. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Hey Guys A few topics today 1. LACTOBACILLUS SERUM As I said previously I will be making a bigger batch. I made another batch of rice water, 1L this time and within a week I will be checking in again to show you what's up The small tester batch is starting to form some mold so I'm thinking that I could/should harvest the LS now and store it. Unfortunately my tester plant for this operation was killed by my new and unforgiving puppy. 2.PLANTS/ REPOT I went to the hydro store today completely unplanned but hey a trip to the hydro store is always fun. I picked up some Freedom Farm soil and repotted the 2 Mendicino Skunks. I watered them and they will stand by the Outdoor lady. I am impressed with the look and feel of the FF soil and I hope that all goes well from here. For veg nutes I will be using the old trusty Seagro and my homemade LS and AACT 3. AACT So I've been doing some reading again I decided to just go back to basics and keep it simple. I got myself a few black 10L buckets a started up the air pump. I will be starting with water bubbling followed by adding the goodies. My ingredients for my tea is as follows: * EWC *Seagro *Molasses I will be adding some Turbo Grow and Rock Phosphate to the tea at the beginning. Well that's it for now. Smelly1 point

It seems as if the Red Cherry Berry is not gonna make it. But its OK I guess. Attached is a pic of my Outdoor attempt with Coir. This is a Chemdawg x Candyland and she was repotted from a 7L to a 25L. For the time being she will stay above the soil line but once she starts stretching then I will sink the pot into the ground to make space for the branches. I was thinking of moving the Laughing Buddha inside seeing that is a 10 - 12 week flowering strain. The Mendicino Skunks will stay outdoors and will be repotted once they are bigger. Sunlight hours directly on the plant is from 07:00 until 15:30 and she is being fed using Nitrosol and Seagro. I am busy making some Lactobacillus Serum and will be using that alongside the feeds. I did some LST work on her and wanted to put a screen over her but decided against that. I also started trimming out the growth that is hidden away that is just wasting energy. Pests wise, I have some issues in the garden in terms of : Red Spidermite Whitefly Wooly Aphids I will be getting me some stuff from the hydro store next week but until then I'm just spraying homemade stuff to keep all under control. That's it for now. Have a blessed evening Smelly1 point
