Howdie fellow zoll bollz, Been smoking for quite some time now. When weed was sold in match boxes and rooi baard was good weed and Durban poison came in pencils. Have been growing out doors here and there and what I mean by that is find a spot have a slow boat, pop some seeds and hope no one finds it. Now that it is legal to grow.... I'm doing what any good South African smoker would do and grow some weed.... personal use obviously. Happily married and father of another zoll boll. Any way....... Grow room is a 1.5 x 1.5 tent (Not finished yet) Things still needed aquarium chiller Flower Lights Air scrubber So in a month or two I'll be doing my first documented grow This is how it looks so far3 points

Batista it is a 60liter RDWC with a 50mm inlet and a 25mm return to control reservoir using a water pump. Would like to upgrade it to 120liter at a later stage.1 point

Little update. Crystal Gelato Bubbleberries really bounced back quick on the LST1 point

Sup. Outdoor flowering time has begun. The wind has really been doing a number on my taller plants. The low profile LST seems to have escaped any wind issues and the canopy is perfect.1 point

The most amusing thing is, this chollo thinks he's done something revolutionary. Anyone can build themselves a COB rig.1 point

@LED God This is a place for local growers to help and share info. The last thing we need here is someone like yourself... I see nothing of value or relevance added from any of your comments. but what I can see is that you are one Hypocritical Narcissist with a bit of a superiority complex and a splash of Bipolar sprinkled on top. There are some good people here, No one here takes interest in any pissing contests or condescending slants towards one another. So unless you wish to contribute in a respectful and positive manner, I'd suggest you move along nicely and get going to whatever 'major' international circles you move in.1 point

Regular vodka is half water, which means you would need to boil a lot longer to reduce it to oil. Haven't checked lately, but my local Tops sold Royal vodka which is 96% ABV last year. For Cape Town members I can get you 99.5% ethanol from Merck for about R1.1K (ex VAT) for 2.5L. Limited monthly supply.1 point

Dude, you started your first post ever with this: Ok Lets school some people before some air heads keep us stuck in a 3rd world, you tube education nation. the response immediately evoked was " who the fuck are you buddy", the response given however was generalising and humorous you immediately alienated yourself against a forum of ,in your words, "air heads" there were no "offenders", only respondents to your offensive statements Race card you say that's rich, so far you are the only person to even allude to race.... I bet that the buntu educated also think cutting costs will bring them yeild? I think i speak for a few members here in saying that due to your intro, your geographic location and history thereof are of little importance, where how and what you pioneered is irrelevant to the discussion and whatever facts you may have had were delivered so badly they are skewed1 point

Bro real commercial growers don't dick around with these little lights. They go boss with Gavita 1000w DE, because that's a man's light if you ever seen one. You'd probably be blind after staring at it directly but fuck it. Yeah I don't know so well about bantu education that sounds pretty racist to me, you sure he doesn't wanna go to the next clifton beach expo? Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point
-
while your points may have been valid your delivery had the subtlety of a glory hole in a glass door. your argument is lost to your attitude1 point
-
so you are saying that out of your pick of currencies and governments, you choose to follow the green rush to the most corrupt mismanaged money grabbing, infrastructure decrepit country you can while still getting cell reception... also, its Bantu education.. "exceeding business as I move towards corporate with haste" i cant tell if thats chingrish or just parlimentary speak.1 point

Fuck those buds are small. I sure hope those aren't yours and you're still trying to prove a point. Your hard ass attitude of knowing what the fok is up doesn't make my cock rise in the morning. Give constructive advice rather than be a lil nai putting down everything that isn't your cup a tea. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Talk and attitude is cheap. Run seed to harvest grow. Run a thread. Show week by week how your lights are legit and for the price better than the rest. Repeat it next grow. Include a few random testers. I mean someone who is random. Someone who has a proven track record. Not your buddy. Then speak to the owner of the forum. Discuss how youd like to really be a proud service provider to a long before the law changed group of people and help kickstart South Africa into world class Cannabis supply status, instead of trying to make a quick buck. #JustSaying1 point

COB's are actually not really cheaper, they actually work out far more expensive due to frame construction, heat sinks, couplers , multiple LED drivers. Last time I did a price list to build a cob setup i quickly went into the 13K mark with barely any effort, that was not even including shipping at this point, and cobs are dimmable, if you use a dimmable driver. QB are actually the cheaper option here, it boils down to your wattage requirements. I currently run QB, 600 watts per side in my 2.4m wide tent. Both put out heat, QB's can be run at lower voltage and are still very efficient, that is one of their perks among other things.1 point

So from today onwards I am babysitting some girls. I think the WW is suffering from light burn since this light is a beast. So I've turned that beast down to 600w. LoL fudge me right, I'm gonna keep it there for now and see if that is the problem or not. Anyway we got a two full tents atm, enjoy folks Deuces[emoji111]️ Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point
