picked a fresh bunch of flowers for valentines day

Morning all We're on the lookout for more moderators! We currently have 2 mods based in the Cape so it would be great if we can get some mods from other parts of the country so we can develop a more national representation here. If you spend a good time on the forum and would like to help keep things in order here for the greater good please feel free to give me a shout via PM. All guidelines will be laid out. Mods are still allowed to enter comps so no need to stress over that TIA

So I will be bringing in two of these beauties end of the month. 800 watts of pure joy.

With The Bulk Seed Bank genetics being so cheap, I decided to give some of their strains a run and see exactly what one is getting for the R60/seed price tag. I picked up 5 different autoflower strains: Cocopopo, Amnesia Haze, Cheese, Devil's Kiss and Caramel King. They are vegging under a 315W CMH in a 4x4 tent. Unfortunately the weather has not been great and temperatures have been around 30-34'C with humidity being much lower than I'd like in the tent on some days, which stunted growth just a bit. The girls are currently in week 3 of veg and should be starting to show preflower soon. I've got them LST'd now with lower nodes exposed, doing as much leaf tucking as I can. The idea is to keep them in the tent until about month end and then move them outdoors for flower, as I have some other genetics I'd rather be running under lights.

I'm keen to see this develop. Never witnessed breeding

Maternity ward update:

outdoor is a different ballgame, the lights and fans are second to none indoor i tend to mess heavily with my plants all along training etc but second week of flower it goes into bud mode. suppose its diffeent timing same technique, i shave them legs before they hit the scrog

My mate also grows in a shed sorta vibe. He wets the floor in the morning and his humidity stays above 50%. Not sure if that's a good idea, but it seems to work for him.

It's proving quite hard to get the humidity up in the Cape at the moment I'm having to choose temp or humidity. Tents sitting at 30+ with same humidity. If I turn off the exhaust humidity rises but then so does temps. Looking forward to winter.

This load shedding is a bitch and a half hey. Yesterday it broke my cycle twice. Gonna get one of those emergency lights lights over the weekend.
