A load of bull if you ask me. They lost me on the african haze page referring to rooibaard which I have had the pleasure of consuming some 25 years ago. This is an original swazi, but the story they spilling on the site is so NOT. Rooibaard is nowhere near a haze. I have always been a supporter of decriminalisation. Everyone has the right to grow their own. The industry will do well considering that seeds are what is needed. The Cannabis genome needs the space to expand. Its needs to continue the momentum it has built over the last 30 years and continue to evolve. Having a market place for growers to sell is great. Bullshitting the masses into settling for all the terribly grown landraces at worse than street prices, and then go riding on strain names......Meh. The way forward for growers will not be canapax. It will be even smaller craft style co-ops. Like many here, I have been around decades in defiance of these laws, smoked all the originals....DP, Gold, and Rooibaard. None of these strains are around anymore. NONE OF THEM. If you go to Swaziland you will see almost only badly grown dutch hybrids these days.

Hi All. So with things being Legal I finally convinced my wife that growing is safer than buying and subsequently started with a grow. i got somewhat lucky and got a tent 165x80x120, 150w vegging and 250w flowering CFL for the whopping price of R1000.00 i also received a gem Super Lemon Haze feminized seed, which came from Cape Ape. i am hoping to get some assistance as I think I may need some help. i am aware that hps/hid/led etc is better but I’m just growing to support my habit which is not more than 20g pm, so I hope I can make enough to give me that. I’m also hoping to find someone in JHB who I might be able to swap or whatever clones etc.

Ahoy fellas. So my shit arrived, bloody time too heck how useless some are makes my tits sag. Spent my day of valentines how it should be, disassemble two grow tents, cleaned up the room and moved my bed around (Doesn't get used at all tho) and started with the new Mammoth Veg tent. Quality is uit die topste gestoeltes, erection guaranteed my friends. After that I had the lovely Justin Hemp show up to come help me with the bigger flowering tent, nothing more sexy than two blokes struggling in a small room, sweaty trying to erect poles I'll tell you that. I managed to wrestle the filter and inline fan into the big tent to get most of the ventilation set up. The Gavita will be well hung in a day or two. Some pictures of the new setup. And yes, the bigger tent is touching the ceiling slightly. Next step is to get plywood cut up and stuck to the windows so I can attach the intake and out of the ducting to the room. Still considering running a secondary fan to replace the air in the actual room and thinking of which window will be used for the intake of which fan. Mendicino Skunk At last she is showing pistils and in flowering mode. It's amazing that this was such a small cutting that I planted out in December and look at her now. Her roots has just taken that pot by storm and I'm watering every 2nd day. It'll end up being watered morning and night later as flowering deepens. CHEMDAWG X CANDYLAND This one is a bit of a worry for me in a way. I'm pretty sure she is rootbound in that pot. I ven tried lifting her few days ago and I could hear roots breaking so the roots has shot into mother earth. I read that the plants can take rootbound in coir better than soil. Not sure if it's true but so so far she is doing fine. I trimmed some of the branched away. Mainly the ones that was thin and crappy. In a week or 3 I will pull more branches down. Got some dowles that I'm gonna use for that to ensure proper support These are the random seeds. Unfortunately they still look like they are vegging it out in the flowering sun. LoL. Just a little update. Seems ms we have lift-off. The only seed I am remotely interested in is the Female Super Lemon Haze and she has just shown signs of life. the pic was taken at 5:30am I guess 21 deg at 70% humidity in the tent. Decided Ed I will go with freedom farms soil. I’ll get that over the weekend and probably start with the potting part in the week. what is the negative of going straight into a 10L pot?

Maternity ward update:

Well into stretch the big LST canopy is 60cm thick with an overall height of 1.1m. Cleaned up the entire bottom.
