With the feedback I've had from customers, a good grow with LM561Cs or LM301Bs can yield gram per watt, even at 60W. It's strain dependent, but there's a pretty strong correlation between wattage and yield. So with QBs you can estimate your yield in dry grams for a good run, with the wattage. Our minimum recommended wattage is 300W/sqm, (or 108W for 60x60). But it's just a guideline, for personal growing scrog-style (filling your area with canopy before switching). The 'pro's run 450W+/sqm.

Nothing better than hooking a big mouth while baked.... Nothing worse than stumbling backward over the side of the boat into the water while baked with the strike and u know there is crocks around...

I have a friend who just started flower 6 days ago with an HLG65 in that space. The clone he grows I know very well and have never seen it with such big leaves so I'm very impressed. Another 9 weeks to go before we can really know how it does for flower.

I am hoping for at least 1.5kg

It is a running water system but I think that it needs a faster flow but I am struggling to match input and output

Oh no I haven't gotten around to it and it not a problem yet I just want to get ahead of it im thinking of getting 2 4m y bars and tie the branches up to the bar and the groves will prevent slipping I counted the side branches 64 that is over 1m long and full of nugs

Hey man, Yes that will work. I have a Mars Hydro 90W, but only 45W with vegetative light on only. The only issue is surface area, the light hangs about 30-40cm above the canopy, so the light coverage area is not that wide. My solution was to add 50W led flood light.. got mine on a special for R200

If that is all you want to do, then get a QB light from Growopz at R1500. You can buy 2 if you budget is R3k. Then you have 140w instead of 65w. Mother's and clones can be kept in the same tent, so one tent is enough. You could even buy a 150w MH. I am currently doing a grow with 2 50w cobs and a 150w high intensity discharge lamp. They are four weeks into veg now and looking to flip to flower. I am going to flower outdoors. Just waiting for the rain to pass. Check out@yourstonedbuddy amadeadly run. That was a QB from growopz. You don't have to spend thousands on grow gear. I know I learnt the hard way. Start with less you can always add on later especially with cobs and qb's. [emoji1787] Auto Amnesia XXL (1) now at 9 weeks, seedbank says 10 to 12 weeks Auto Amnesia XXL (2) now at week 5 It has been almost 4 weeks since Durban Poison (2) has showed first pistils, flowering time indicated as 8 to 9 weeks Purple Bud has not shown signs of flowering as of yet, tied her down a bit today Lastly, Durban Poison (1) also hasn't shown signs of flowering

This is the first time I am using the cups and I don't remove the plants from the paper cups they get transplanted cups and all. What I can say is that the roots are very dense in all of my pots, well at least the top layer, as I struggle to get my finger in there to feel if she's moist.

Love fly fishing. I also do other kinds to but for me nothing beats catching a fish on a fly you tied your self.

Guys, things are getting a bit scary out there. And it's a topic that we, everyone in the cannabis community needs to try and resolve. In the past 48 hours the police have raided several Western Cape based growers, taking plants and gear and charging for dealing. I can't speak to the reality of these individuals actions, but some do claim to just be growers. And regardless, it is a situation that everyone should be made aware of. These raids have been on active members on the Cannabis Club SA group on Facebook, which a little scary since I've been pretty active as a personal use grower. It should be noted that the charges given have in most cases not been supported with evidence upon raids, yet they still arrest. Again, it's important to note that I can't speak to whether these individuals deal or not, but there have been some personal use growers who have been raided recently. The police have no incentive to stop at this point, they know the case will be thrown out but it doesn't matter because by the time that happens they already have the plants and gear. Some kind of accountability needs to be pushed on these cops that raid private use growers.
