  3. Hey guys, Going to start with a disclaimer. I'm growing for personal use, I do not sell what I harvest and do not intend to do so in the future. I have a outside pool pump room, yes you guessed it, it's where the pool pump lives The room is about 2.5 x 3.5 with vibecrete walls and a zink roof with no ceiling. Started off quite dirty but with some TLC and help from the wife we turned it into a space I think would work nicely for a small grow. Light is a 240 QB from GrowOpz: https://growopz.com/products/qb-240-dimmable-quantum-board-v2 Plants are a Vision Auto and Jack Herer from SeedsMan.com, was outside for a month basically but due to bad medium I decided to start with them and reported them in two 10L Freedom pots with Freedom Farms Premium Classic potting medium. I know repotting the auto was a bad idea but he was going nowhere outside. Nutrients I'm going with BioBizz Grow and Bloom, 2ml per liter Grow per watering. I have a fan in the corner on 1 blowing gently and oscillating towards the two plants, I hope this is fine? Light cycle on 20 / 4 for now with QB at about 80cm above the plants, thinking I should drop it a bit to 60cm? Please see pictures of the before and after project. I would appreciate any advice or comments. Thanx. Before: After:

  6. Couldn't agree with you more Stoukie, a stable light routine plays a huge role! A bit difficult at times with Eskom.. bit we find ways to work around it. Training looks solid and looking forward to seeing the outcome. Yeah that Bizz will be happy in the shade Happy growing brother

  7. Joe, I'm no expert (far from it) but just do your research before spraying neem oil on your flowering plant as I have read there can be 'side effects'... but yeah, no way of knowing until you try it yourself I suppose

  8. Hey guys, 3 weeks since my last update, quite allot has happened. Let's start from the top, spoiler I have a new addition to the family Jack Herer, sitting with a little problem here as she is getting fantastically big and bushy and feel like I should trigger her to flower, but I have to many others still in veg, so I was thinking of taking her out of my grow room every evening at 8PM and stash her in the outside bathroom until the next morning at 8AM just before I go to work, will be a bit of work but could work, right? A few pictures, keeping in mind I trimmed her a few days ago to get rid of some of the bigger fan leaves. View from the bottom, low stress training worked a charm. Next the Northern Lights Auto, its mid flower and looking okay, buds can plump up a bit more but looking okay considering she was outside in bad potting soil for most of her vegging stage. Would say she has a few weeks left still, what do you guys think, 3 to 4 weeks? Close up, say cheese... Glueberry is next, they are 5 weeks into my first attempt at mainlining. I must say it's quite a nerve racking ordeal as every time the plant seems to start taking off you trim quite hard. The lady I started creating the mainline base early (2 week) is doing very well, the other one I gave a bit more veg time and only started at week 3 but due to the big amount of plant material I had to remove she went into stress, she going okay but the other one is doing well. Before the last stage of forming the mainline base: After forming the last stage of the mainline base, from here I will leave her alone and let the 8 colas that was created grow. And lastly, the new addition to the family, a Blue Cheese Auto, she is only 10 days old now:

  11. 2 weeks down the line and stretch is done. Cleaned up under my two girls. Really happy with how they transitioned and a strong cantelope smell is starting to stick around.

  13. Sup. Outdoor flowering time has begun. The wind has really been doing a number on my taller plants. The low profile LST seems to have escaped any wind issues and the canopy is perfect.

  14. Sup everybody. Weekly update. I am still in 2 minds whether I should top this one or not.... The LSTs are doing well... One of the LSTs are showing a bud on leaf mutation, so it will be an interesting one to watch.

  16. 2 weeks later and the females are settling in well. Structure forming quite well. Currently 70cm and considering if I want a conifer or if I'm going to top at 1m. The bottom pic is the male I chose out of the males. The same bushy structure is one of my selection criteria. He is going into force flower for pollen collection now before summer is out.
