  3. Do some reading on Google on the "food soil web" It will give you a new perspective on organics and what the goals of organics are. Feeding the microbes, not the plant.

  4. Or...since you are doing the organic thing. Chuck the lemon, bicarb, ph pen and all and just use tap water, aged for a day and nutes added. I havent checked pH for years. Really not necessary with organics. The microbes create the pH they want to live in.

  6. Whats good everyone! Since getting a new light i have been unable to run it at full tilt due to heat issues. With ambient temps of 22-25C in my grow room, my cupboard is still pushing 30C+ my cupboard is 1m x 0.5 x 1.6, running 240W QB. I have a 100mm PC fan pulling in air from the bottom and a bathroom extractor pulling out ontop. The plan is to use the bathroom extractor to pull in air from the bottom and to get a silent inline fan to extract the warm air out & then using the PC fan to pull air straight off the heatsink. I've had a good look online, there isnt a huge selection to choose from but looking to get the most "silent" option available. Anyone have suggestions?

  7. I own a couple of s&p TD silent fans. I have a 100mm for intake and 125mm exhaust. The 125mm is really quiet. Problem is they are huge so only consider if you have space. Got them from fans.co.za

  8. Thanks for the response bud! You have somewhat answered my question, i thought the metal inline fans would be softer but it turns out a plastic one would be a better choice! Now just to figure out which plastic inline fan is going to be the softest

  9. Run your light at 75%. I have the same light and at 75% there's a 4 degree difference in my cab. My extraction fan is only 87cfm and it works perfectly. Inline fans are pricey and loud.

  13. Lemon juice for pH down. So add the BioGrow then mix throughly for a minute or two. Take a reading and let it settle on the pen. Then add lemon juice if the pH is too high and add Bicarb when it's too low. With the bicarb you'll see that even 1/4 TSP raises the pH alot. I mix up 24L for my flowering girls and I've never used a full teaspoon to raise the pH to the correct level. It would go way too much Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  15. Since your using organic nutes, don't buy the pH up and pH down at the hydro shop. That's for synthetic nutes. Buy yourself some lemon juice at PnP for pH down and buy Bicarb Soda, the blue box also at PnP for pH up. The pH up and down kills off your beneficial bacteria in the soil Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  16. Cool thanks Pat, It would seem from your comment that my issue here could be ph.. I will get some ph down solution asap and correct that, continue adding feed and see from there if she perks up. Thanks for the comments.

  17. Sup Luke, so initially reading I thought you might have gotten stress since moving the plant under the bigger light. However you NEED to feed freedom soil. The whole "organic" topic of freedom soil is a bit iffy. Outdoor you add a bunch of shit like worms, teas, no till. Indoor however is different, you have to feed every watering. PH the feed to 5.2-5.8. BioGrow is good for an all round veg and flowering feed, FishMix from BioBizz is lekka for vegging. Get some BioBloom for flowering. Also invest in some MicroLife, Humic and Fulvic acids from Freedom farms. In terms of the mildew, don't feel bad I'm also having that kak atm but bought AQ-SP from JamieSoil out in Somerset. Neem is also good to buy, although it smells like sharts. I don't see an oscillating fan in that tent?? You'd want to add one of those bad boys too. Let me know if you have any other questions. We're all here to help each other. Another tip for feeding, print yourself out an A4 calendar for the month, you know the one that you can write on. Good for tracking feed, pH and also how old your girls are. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  22. I personally only have warm white (3000k and 4000k) lights. Had a blurples last grow. But found the ladies stretching to much. But nice to see there is ones that actually works. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  23. Burples get a bad rap, personally I love the color. My only issue with the cheap ones is their diodes tend to burn out after like 2 or 3 grows.
