Amnesia (2) was harvested Sunday morning and hung to dry. Placed the buds in jars this morning. This time around I didn't wait until the stem snaps before curing, waited to just before it snaps, think this will improve my curing. Didn't take wet weight but before cure they weighing in at 59g Before harvest After dry

Your spikes are to extreme on both ends (high-low) and if fans go off I'm pretty sure your evening humidity is hitting 80%/90%+. This will be your main cause for powdery mildew, this is how she is born. Once infected her tolerance to conditions are a lot strong, so she becomes a real pain in the beeeehind to get rid of. 3parts lemon juice to 1part water and spray that girl! You'll be dropping the pH of the leave surface to around ph3 +-, this will kill the powdery mildew. It's spores, so removing leafs alone is not helping. Remove the girl and wipe everything in tent and room down with a bleach and water at a 3%bleach to water ratio. So as predicted the Fruit Spirit girls became unstable as they usually do, started throwing pollen pods so I thought it'd be wise to pull them. The strain for what's supposed to be heavy sativa only takes 7-8 weeks. Monday was the start of week 7 so atleast I'm not pulling them too early. I tried something different by keeping the girls in the pots and trimmed them all down to the buds. I'll be doing a bud wash in the next day or two and then hang to dry. Try keep air moving at night if you can and heat room a bit if possible. Pot will also dry a little quicker. PM won't disappear over night but you will see if get better, much better every day! Give a good foliar spray, next day take off a few leaves blocking air and light. Then just spot spray leaves where you see. Tip for seeing it easy is at lights out with your cell torch or through the camera on the phone screen. Pretty scary what the human eye doesn't see. Definitely would help if he is able to keep room dark, am yet to see a 100% light proof tent [emoji1787] My ladies sleep at night but I got an oil heater going. He could also add a heater to the room the tent is in to bring up temps so his circulating warmer air, which will be dryer. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

His temps would be better running the lights at night. Currently 19-23 outside during the day. At night the cold goes to 14-15 and that's when the heat of that light will give some loving. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

So to be honest, when I bought the complete tent setup it came with a budget open reflector, I put that monitor in the tent and it shot to over 50, which is when I purchased the cool tube and big exhaust fan. I'm very worried about an open light, although now with the lost faith in the ballasts available I am considering an upgrade to the gravitas, but there goes my cool tube setup.. so stuck in a required decision

Are you not running your lights on during night?? Well I'd keep it going, I even have an inline fan for just replacing the air in the room. Doesn't do anything other than moving air into and out the room. The tent fans also run always Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

I've been looking at vaporizers for a while and finally decided on a dynavap M 2019. I've never been a smoker so vaporizing is very appealing. I initially discounted the dynavap range as I thought a battery operated vaporizer would be much more convenient. However after looking around and getting some advice it seems like getting a cheap vape is a bit of a gamble. I considered the Via which is relatively cheap but I've seen a few negative reviews saying that they tend to break and the battery goes flat quickly. The vapes that do look good are way to expensive for me at the moment. My dynavap arrived yesterday and I'm way happier with it that I thought I would be, and I had high expectations . It is pretty small and does not hold a lot of herb but certainly enough for one session. Using a torch lighter is actually really convenient as I'll never run out of battery. It does take some getting used to though, where to heat, angle to hold etc, but there are plenty of guides on youtube to help. It is also the cheapest vape that I've seen! I'm extremely happy, I think even if I had a good quality electric vape I'd still want one of these around. For whats its worth from a newbie, I'd highly recommend one.

After seven days curing, the water was almost entirely clear at change time. So it was time to dry After drying for 24 hours I perhaps had the fan too close, so possibly dried them a bit too much...? But I'm assuming that is less important with water cured weed than with air dried, since the curing is already done and its just a dry. The original wet weight was ~450g, the final dry weight is ~75g so ~17% of the original weight. Which is pretty much what I was told to expect using a water cure. It looks good under the scope too Overall I really happy with the harvest from my first ever grow.
