Aallllrighty fellas did some trimming did some throwing, did some throwing out again. Weighed, chucked back into the jars. Now for the following girls dry weight: Vanilla Kush - 130g Amnesia Haze - 69g cause she a dirty gurl DC OG - 84g Fruit Spirit - 123g Total of 406g dried. I still need to harvest my two Strawberry Amnesia girls which will probably get the total weight to about 450g dried. Tbh I'm happy with this, but I know the light has much more potential that needs to be unlocked. Hoping with the help of Explogrow we'll be pushing more than 600g dried. Out doors. Meant to mention the fact that only 13 was selected to grow out. Lost a few to hermi, 1 male, 1 crushed and 1stolen. Got to harvest 5 in the end. Had to harvest early due to bud worms, pm and "Budrites". Got some decent stuff for myself at least till next season. Bag seed helps when you still learning..

Yeah, I hear you on the companion planting. My outdoor grow area was chosen for its sunny position and away from prying eyes. I've decided to selectively introduce companion plants(tomatoes, basil and squash) to create a mini 'biosphere', hopefully attracting some beneficial insects to try and keep the bad critters in check. My method is quite similar. Soak the beans in dechlorinated water in a shotglass for 12hrs to soften up. Then transfer onto round cotton facepads and place 2nd pad on top to cover. Taking care not to mix different strains-label them. Keep them moist and warm ishh for 2 to 3 days in a dark area. Once the tap root emerges 5-10mm I transplant to prepared seedling trays (tap root down) with my own compost and riversandsand mix. Once 4 leaves emerge I transfer to forever pots. If the seeds don't germinate in the 2 to 3 days I don't discard them. I transfer them to a separate pot of soil in a last ditch effort. Had quite a few beans surprize me that way. How big a grow do you want to do? You can save allot of money on running cost with Led. Electricity costs are increasing. With HPS you have to invest in larger fans and maybe an cooling system. All these have added energy costs. But that is for you to decide. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

HPS is bigger yield, LED is better quality, quality LED can yield as much as HPS while using less power. But HPS is cheaper to buy, Perfect Sun LED comes close to the yield of HPS light but be prepared to ship it in and pay a kak load. I find with enough air movement your plants are ok. So rather go over kill on the fans. And for winter grows temps are fine with out cooling. It's just when summer comes early and you were under prepared. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
