  1. For my next grow I will be experimenting with three auto flowering ladies, you always hear how finicky autos are and how you should not fiddle with them due to their short veg cycle, let's put that to the test by growing three autos side by side and training each one in a different way. The three different autos I'm going to grow is: - Fastberry Auto from Fastbuds - CBD Crack Auto from Fastbuds - Daiquiri Lime Auto from Dutch Passion So I was thinking the first auto I will top after it reaches 3 nodes and maybe top again each side branch once they reach 3 nodes ending up with many smaller colas. The second I'm thinking to tie down horizontal when it reaches about 3 or 4 nodes, not going to top it, just bending. And the last one I was thinking of doing absolutely nothing to it, sort of like a baseline grow... I'm not 100% set on the training techniques yet so please feel free to add your comments or suggestions please. Earlier the week, Tuesday evening, I soaked the beans for 12 hours: The next evening they were showing signs of life: I planted them on Friday: Day 3 and a little green can already be spotted: Ladies will be grown indoors under one of the 240 watt quantum boards with a 18 / 6 light cycle. Each one will be planted directly (as per the pictures above) into a 10 liter material pot. I'm a big Freedom Farm fan but for this grow I'm trying this medium from Atami: That's it... let's see how it goes.

  3. Ok last 2 plants left. These 2 are photos and are still finishing off. We have made the extraction. Got 20ml from a 170 gram. Just more than 10% yield. Then made capsules with some of the oil. Used a CBD infused oil to make the caps. So if it is all correct it would be a 2.5:1 CBD:THC oil. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  4. Ok so my Bubblegum Auto yielded just shy of 30g dry. The bud wasnt very tight and lost a lot of weight. The drying also made the bud very dry within 5 days. So yeah. It smells lovely and the taste and smoke is great. (Couldnt resist to start smoking as it's not 100% cured yet by a long shot, but I had to either pay 40 per gram for shit greenhouse or smoke my own.. so the bottom buds are being obliterated. I'm not going to mention the AK as that failed miserably maybe got 12-15g there so it's just a dud. The Cinderella 99 yielded just over 40grams dry. I think I'm going to get similar yields off the royal gorilla and Super Lemon Haze so all in all for my first grow I got around 170g. If I consider all my mistakes and the fact that my tent wasnt filled to capacity at the scrog net. I actually only filled about 60% I think I would have yielded 250-270g dry. This is just a rough estimate but yeah. I cant complain so I'm looking forward to a new grow and improving on my yield and bud tightness.

  6. For passive intakes you could look at your local plumbing store for some 90' bends . two bends and a short straight between them painted black inside. The bends facing opposite direction + black paint should give you a light trap on your passive intake. [emoji3577][emoji271] Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  7. Sup 420SA Disclaimer: I breed Cannabis seed as a hobby to help preserve seeds (genetics) and possibly improve certain strains. I provide these genetics for free to our Collective of growers, most of which are medical patients. I am not a master breeder, this was the first year that I could see so many of my own crosses being grown out, a wonderful experience. After being a custodian for so many years, it is time we share the Fire with the community. Some of the bud shots will be grown by me, most pictures I will post here will be from growers and future breeders in our Collective. Blessed love

  10. LoL dude you are too nice. Yeah I must admit these panels are great but with the new Explogrow I've been using, it's even blowing me away. It almost costs me nothing to run the 120w required for the veg lights. Damn my inline fan pulls that power, so really glad I bought these QBs from Growopz. Hey well I'm also still learning day by day making changes learning new stuff you know. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  15. Happy to report, all well in cannaland. Only recieved straight water while I was gone. DP (1) DP (2) Purple Bud seemed to have healed. One small branch didn't heal and planted the piece before a left, seems like it took Saw today that another branch also didn't make it. The rest looks good [emoji108] Should I remove the tape and rope or leave it till harvest?

  16. I was kind of gathering it through your thread, lekker sense of humor. I prefer your extremely high explanation to UncleG's search results! This had me laughingMAO this morning - "If you have questions, pop them down below like a fat pimple. Stay safe, be blessed and never wipe back to front." Legendary status bro Vrede

  18. What's up Dank, thanks man. I'll be making use of that again coming up soon with some newer plans to expand and run a bit better setup. Hopefully this next week will be an exciting one for me going into the next phase of the next grow already and one step closer to flowering. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  20. I have just recently ordered a new light as I’m helping my brother in law start a grow. as we will be vegging collectively and he will receive all plants from me we got him a 301b setup. in short. It’s 5 x 50w 301b panels @ 3000k with a 240w mean well driver with build in dimmer. So the LEDs should run slightly underpowered which will give a better efficiency in theory. the panels also has a lens cover with 120degree spread. the entire light setup was about 3k. I can’t wait to see what it does. that said, I’m not expecting the same yield of course but Also not the 1k pm electricity bill. Truly impressed with your performance and hope I have a similar setup soon. Right after I move into my new place as my house is smelling like a cheap brothel and the wife isn’t all too impressed.

  21. Looking amazing Pat. I’m stunned at the 2 panels you’re using and how great those plants look. Keep it up. I’m using you as a measure to see if my grows are successful or not hahahaha

  23. Some insects lay their eggs in a type of protective foam that looks very similar to that. All due respect to all living creatures but, If it looks vegetarian, it's got no business near my plants. Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk

  24. The water out the tap does contain some calcium too, I'd add a bit of it to feeds. Rain water doesn't have any so you have to add more calmag to that. I'd say that plant is having a bit of lockout, hydro is always quick in showing problems and you need to be on it. PH is perfect in the 5.5-6.0 range with the added perlite in there. 26. All dried and ready for the cure. Both plants delivered in excess of 750g each. It has been a pleasure to bring you that are following this log. It is still frightening at times to post to a practically public platform a tiny piece of my passion for plants. I have however realised that as much as this log has been incriminating, it has also been an example of how benign it is to grow cannabis. None of my neighbors bled or died as a result of my plants. I breed pepper plants too and spend more time with them than any other species. The point is. Here it is...the seeds went into soak on the day the Constitutional Court made the verdict, and an entire baby later, yes almost 6 months of veg and just over 3 months of flower, I am consuming my own non criminal cannabis, and this log is proof of where my Cannabis has come from. Start a grow log. Not entirely for our benefit but for your own. This revolution has long gained traction but having a log like this one is powerful, factual evidence that you are growing your own Cannabis and you can fully account since seed/clone. But really...we have had to live in the dark with this forever...Let's show them how we do it like the productive normal people we are. To put costs of this grow into perspective. I spent a total of R200 on fertilizer. My soil mix cost me R400. Water was R30 x 9 months, so R180. For a total of under a grand spent, that works out to about R1 to R1,50 a gram. This changes everything. This improves my life. This, well this! That gives myself and my wife 2g a day until I can grow and harvest again 12 months from now.

  29. So here I am at work, just chillin it out thinking of how much electricity my newly set up, setup, will cost to run each month. Pretty sure we all wanna know how much things cost us to use them, specially when you're trying to lay low like well worn road kill in this area. Now some of you may know how to do these calculations, however if you don't, take a peek up my skirt right below. To start off you need to know how much Watts your whole setup uses. Now alot of times I've worked out how much the lights will use, but fail to recon in the other 200-300w used for fans including oscillating fans and inline fans. These run 24 hrs a day and uses quite an amount itself. So we go according to my setup: Gavita is using 750w currently Quantum boards are pulling 60w each, so 120w total for them Inline fan uses 90-95w for low speed Oscillating fans use about 45-50w each To understand the KWH reading, you'll look at it always as 1 KWH = 1000watts. So if my light uses 750w, I've used 0.75kwh for 1 hour. Always remember to Divide your usage watts with 1000. My Gavita light will be on for 12 hours every day, so the following calculations are for it. 12 Hours x 750w ÷ 1000 = 9kwh for a day. 9kwh x 31 days (For the whole month) = 279kwh. For my Quantum Boards they'll be on for 18 hours every day. 18 Hours x 120w ÷ 1000 = 2.2kwh a day. 2.2kwh x 31 days = 68kwh. For the fans they'll be on 24 hours non stop till the panties drop 24 Hours x 190w ÷ 1000 = 4.6kwh a day. 4.6kwh x 31 days = 143kwh. So if we add all these noodles into the big pot we have: 279kwh + 68kwh + 143kwh = 490kwh give or take a few. At this rate I pay R1. 90/kwh. 490kwh x R1. 90 = R930 +- per month to run my whole setup. I hope this helps anyone who's thinking of upgrading but wants to know how much it'll cost to run per month to budget out the rest of the electricity that you'll need for the fan you got on the toilet for when things get tough and you're sweating a bit. If you have questions, pop them down below like a fat pimple. Stay safe, be blessed and never wipe back to front. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk
