New lights installed 315w cmh + 240w led

For what it's worth...I germinate my seeds in full summer sun. They are built to handle extremes we are blissfully unaware of. Even indoors will do well under HPS imo.

Took a little tester last night I'm happy with the result. Also 3 Jackberry's and a jillybean for the next round the one jackberry has nitrogen toxicity I think but she will soon be strong enough only feeding ph water

Howdy, Thought I'd start a journal of sorts here. Absolute first time growing anything. Equipment: - 80x80x160cm tent - 75W Luminus Gen 4 CXM-22 COB (Mean Well NPF-90D-54, dimmed down from 90W) (Spliced a 140mm pc fan to an old Nokia 5v charger, so it runs silent) - Air (type) 9,5L pots, Freedom Farms Classic, GHE tri-pack with PH tester drops and PH down combo... 1. Random photo seed I got from my sister. Unsure of sex yet. 2. Nirvana - AK48 Auto (one Cotyledon leaf broke off) (over-watered) 3. Nirvana - Short Rider Auto (over-watered) Started both in Jiffy type pellets which I unfortunately waterlogged and placed in the soil. I think they'll survive though. Dutch Passion Euforia Autos arrived today, will leave in fridge for now.

I had my seeds in Jiffy’s with domes, the moment they germinated I removed the domes. At the sign of the first roots they were planted into pots. This all happened under a 600w HPS (about 1.3m above the plants), literally from the day the seeds were placed in the Jiffy’s. My plants are happy, squat, strong stems with zero stretch.

I find that the screw on is better. But it will also depend on the quality of the fliptop container. The consol jars I use have strenthened lids to take the hygrometer and a improved seal. I'm happy.

Mushroom compost is abundant in the cape as DoubleGrow produces it there. Maybe there's a doublegrow stockist in JHB(contact doublegrow) but I found theses guys who appear to have a nursery in Midrand. It's not something you'll find at every nursery. Perhaps you could order the rock dust and phosphate online

That extraction fan essentially almost equals the same CFM of your carbon filter, which is why you don't feel much suction. So there is nothing wrong, remember you won't feel this insane suction near the filter, I am run an 8inch fan on a 6inch filter and I don't even feel any movement. However when I close everything I can immediately see negative pressure.

I'll be taking clones of my AK and LemD this morning, just waiting on my jiffy pellets to finish up expanding. The flowering girls aren't looking bad, definitely a few days till flowering starts. Clones should be going soon and get rooted. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

AC got installed yesterday when set to 18 degrees my tent never went over 25 degrees it would normally be on 29 degrees so that's great. Got these delivered today excited much. They will be added to my 315w cmh.
