  1. So earlier this week there was a donation of sorts to the cause see the 1st pic. 12 of these were planted. Three/four days later we welcome the new babies into the family. Still waiting for a couple to make there appearance. This is a new auto strain from Elite seeds. 17% CBD 0.5% THC is what they say. 6 into Coco perlite mix and will later go into autopots the will be receiving Greenhouse powder feed. The other 6 into soil mix and will receive enzymes, beneficial microbes and biobloom. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  3. Well I'm getting ready to spray down my girls, they're looking lovely in the 20L fabric pots. This is a prevention spray for this kak PM going around. Pics are as follows 1st: Left - Strawberry Amnesia Right - DC OG 2nd Left - Amnesia Haze Right - Amnesia Haze 3rd Left - Bay11 Right - Lemon Diesel 4th Left - Blue Dream Right - AK I'll be checking for pistils on all of them now and see which ones have them, if they're all good we're set for day 1 of flowering already after 4 days of 12/12, 36 hour dark period fellas, give it a go my ou. I'm also going to be taking clones from a bunch of them because of the jiffy situation Cheers ouens Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  5. DP (1) doesn't seem like she wants to go into full flowering, pistils on all the tops but developing slowly, and still stretching. I'm thinking that this was maybe the bagseed which got mixed with the rest of the seeds. DP (2) has a week or two left Purple Bud (although not so purple) is also close to harvest

  6. I decided to take one of my c99 clones and experiment with store bought Colloidal silver. The required ppm seems to be a debatable topic, ranging from 18ppm to 100ppm. For the purpose of this experiment I will be using Biosil 20ppm. Let's see how it goes. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  9. Hey guys, i just recently started my first indoor growth, so stoked, but im on a tight budget. so i built a basic setup in my garage, see pics below. Im using CFL lights with 4k spectrum and each bulb giving 90lumen per watt. using potting soil as grow medium mixed in bone meal and some organic fertilizer pellets. Also added some kelpak and grow boosters to water mix, which i only started to ph balance since yesterday. Some of my babies arent doing so well, please help plc of a sick baby attached below

  11. Everyone survived last night, was hectic! Lost two branches from DP (1), during the afternoon already. Moved them and secured DP (1) last night, really difficult having a 2m plant in a 40l pot. DP (1) showing some colour change DP (2) getting close. Removed a few "inner branches" which recieve very little light, and due to thick foliage on her, hope it will help with air circulation. This was done after photo taken. Purple bud

  13. @CreX that sounds awesome, breeding Cannabis is really fun and really not that difficult. Biggest challenge is keeping pollen in the right area's so that the sensi can also get harvested! Awesome @highchome I was thinking to start dropping some testers after the comp. Stoked to see your guys interest! Feel free to drop questions start threads in the forum section. I am always learning and experimenting. The future for breeding Cannabis is surely a bright one, will hopefully contribute to those future seeds you want to breed.

  14. Update: So the plants bounced back after their short bout of medium issue. I plan to transplant next week, medium of choice will be organic matters.

  16. @Oolong83 Ill try respond to these in point form. Lighting: I love this topic, always makes for interesting, perhaps even emotional debates. Let me start off by saying it as it is, your lighting will not see those plants through their life-cycle, the plants will die eventually. I read in your post you said 90 Lumens per W. Although this may be true, at what distance and what coverage? 20W CFL's will be wasting money even further. I suggest, instead of throwing additional low wattage globes in there, save up a little and get a bigger one. 50W CFLs were around R120 last time i checked, but even with 50W, do not expect great results. I recommend a bare minimum of 100W for vegging and 200W for flowering. (Single globe naturally) A watt is not a watt: Think of it this way, we both have 100W torches, mine, a single chip, yours 20x5W chips. (Same goes for any other type of lighting) Now what happens when we're standing somewhere "as dark as night" :):), we turn the torches on and point them in opposite directions. Will the light travel the same distance? The answer here of course is no, because the single unit has much more penetrations power. Exactly the same in your grow area, sure the lights are enough to tell the plants whether its day or night, but not enough for effective photosynthesis. Much like that 20x5W torch in the distance. I've included an Image that explains this nicely. Nutrients: Your seeds can sustain themselves for about 3 weeks, without the need for any nutrients. Remember, your potting soil will also have nutrients in them, organic perhaps, but nutirents nevertheless. I would suggest you dont add anything to your soil and perhaps even flush the soil before use, which is what i normally do. Be careful of pelleted nutrients, cannabis has a very specific requirement plus those pellets will create hot spots in your soil. Buy something like seagrow, which works quite well and being organic, you wont get nute burn or lockout due to mixture. Bonemeal will burn the seedlings. I suggest you repot urgently. Soil: Get some vermiculite into that mixture. If your roots dont have enough air, ie. soil does not dry quick enough, youre making your plant sad and inviting all kinds of pests. just read though your initial post again, your soil is hotter than a R200 desert eagle. Take the plants out, rinse roots and plant into freshly rinsed soil.

  18. So here we are, you know, sitting again. Officially day 1 of 12/12, with my girls just before the lights come on now at 6pm. I'll give it a few more weeks and see what else I'd need to defoliate but for now they seem good Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  22. Been a while since last update. 2 weeks ago I had to get rid of my flowering Peach hybrid..... powdery mildew took over, guess not the best time of year to grow Indica indoor without humidity control haha oh well my Sativa girls doing great, week 9 of flowering gonna push her to 12 wks. So far the colder weather and humidity not effecting her grow. Below generation 3 Generation 4 clones below Wild girls!!!

  23. The CBD is not the problem it is how much thc the person can take. Especially with CBD:THC combo plants. Trail and error. Start really low like 5mg and increase the dose. As necessary. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk
