  1. Day 14 A quick update regarding the plants. I will no longer be posting updates on the Chocolope plants in this thread, you can view the progress on the Chocolope plants in their thread over here: I had an issue with burnt leaves on 3 of my plants, not sure whether it was light burn from the LED's or whether the plants were not happy with the soil. I did not feed any nutes to the seedlings, they all got the same and have all been under the same lights and same environment etc. They all received the same soil when transplanted as well and the 3 which had their leaves burnt was all next to each other therefore I suspect light burn. The burnt leaves seem to have slowed down growth a bit on these 3 plants although they have bounced back and are growing strong. The one GDP #2 was affected quite badly and I thought it would die, so I transplanted it into a mug so I could use the big pot for one of the Chocolope seedlings. I think I damaged the Chocolope in the process but the GDP seems to be recovering as it has sprouted new leaves and is growing! Very impressed with how resilient the GDP is. As you can see, it is the smallest of the low, albeit understandable. The Sticky Icky (Girl Scout Cookie x BB#3) are by far the fastest growing plants. All 3 are growing faster than the rest and I am really eager to see the end results! My CBD Critical Mass is doing very well, which I am most happy about as I only had one of those seeds and plan to clone it when the time is right. Bruce Banner #3 and GDP are about on par in terms of growth. The overall growth on the plants is really good I feel, the bag seed plant is doing well too - although the leaves have a bit of a weird colouring to them and I am not sure whether it is just new growth or if something is not 100%? The colouring on the leaves are not quite uniform, the inner part of the leaves seem to have a bit more of a lighter colouring in a way... It has increased in size and bushiness quite a bit over the past 2 days, I am not 100% sure how to train it at the moment as it is very bushy and the stems are not growing very long and underneath the top leaves are even more nodes. Perhaps I started with LST too soon and should have let it grow a bit taller first? All seedlings have only been given plain water and water mixed with EM Pro Soil. Next wateringI may start feeding with low concentrates of Fish Mix. Bag seed is receiving fishmix along with EM Pro Soil.

  2. If you are on a budget, consider a flat white paint as an alternative. May be cheaper.

  5. If you look properly at the close up pic if the trichomes it looks to me you only have trichome stalks left and the water curing process knocked most of the glands off.... just my 2 cents

  6. Whadup ya’ll super stoked, my skunk seeds have started popping so far 5 of the 10, but the others are coming up, just slow. These are mixed Skunk seeds, so I'm eager to see what surprises they have in-store for me. They will all go into a coco/perlite/soil mix will give them till next week before planting? any pointers before i plant?

  8. Flat white (straight PVA) will probably give you better light reflection vs plastic. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  9. I'd say when you feel there have been a significant enough change in the plants to warrant updated pictures.

  10. I have a whole plant that I need tasteless and odorless... It's sies... So I experimented a bit with water curing, but it still left a smell. I looked under my hand held microscope and found more balls on my stalks than you did... Must admit... I only changed water once a day. All in all... I tried it and am now in the know... And know not to do it again... Just be patient... And be like me... Hang my fresh buds in the pantry

  11. Interesting. (I'm always open to people's 2c BTW, that's what the forum is for ). I'll take another look under the microscope and see what they look like now. I think I'd having done the water cure I'd say this: Odds are I screwed it up, so the issues are possibly me being too rough rather than a flaw with water curing itself. I chose to water cure mainly because it was my first time and I did not have a reasonable space to dry without worrying about mold. However I don't think I'd want to water cure again, even if I could get all the water cure issues resolved. For vaping / smoking it seems clear that a dry cure is clearly the best option. For cannabutter I could probably skip the curing phase altogether if I really wanted to. And thanks for the feedback

  12. I have two 60w QBs from Growopz for veg and Gavita 6/750 for flowering. Contemplating adding another light for my third tent that's laying about, but we're not speaking of it Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  14. Heya @Oolong83, looking good. My only advice is to plant them as soon as roots start showing because ideally I cut off the jiffy bag. The roots will grow through it, but seems to constrict the main root ball's size if left intact.

  15. Agreed, watering curing is such a waste of bud.

  17. Yea man... And even in bloom where most strains get their name from, it's still very open to debate as to what it is... You might get lucky with a great smelling plant that stacks to the roof... But as for a name... Sorry son

  19. Okay well just a lil updating, my clones in the jiffy pellets has seen better days, I'm expecting to lose quite a few of them due to the kak the pellets were. Anyhow with the new clones in the dome in rockwool cubes we're on track again. The flowering tent is looking real tasty, it's off to a good start for sure. 20. No, very unlikely. The characteristics you are likely to see are those which can appear in multiple other strains. It is like being blind folded and driving in a car and then you have to try identify which car you are driving in. You probably have a better chance of guessing the car than the cannabis strain. Chances are if this is bag seed, it is mixed with pollen from multiple different male plants even. Grow it out and enjoy it, regardless of what it may be. If you want to know what cannabis you're growing and smoking, get some proper seeds and label everything and take it from there.

  22. Everyone survived last night, was hectic! Lost two branches from DP (1), during the afternoon already. Moved them and secured DP (1) last night, really difficult having a 2m plant in a 40l pot. DP (1) showing some colour change DP (2) getting close. Removed a few "inner branches" which recieve very little light, and due to thick foliage on her, hope it will help with air circulation. This was done after photo taken. Purple bud

  24. I forgot to mention, when I used the rapid rooters I put some soil in some of them to see whether it would make a positive or negative difference and I was thinking more along the lines of moisture control. When transplanting from the rapid rooters to the pots, I noticed that the seedlings which had soil around their raid rooters were generally larger and the roots had berried themselves in the soil and there were more and longer roots. I had to carefully loosen the soil and then gently pull up on the rapid rooters. There was one seedling in particular, unfortunately I did not take note of which or take pictures however the tap root was super long compared to the others. Next time I will most likely germinate in paper and then plant straight into soil, or if I do use rapid rooters I will place them inside some soil in a smallish pot.

  25. DP (1) doesn't seem like she wants to go into full flowering, pistils on all the tops but developing slowly, and still stretching. I'm thinking that this was maybe the bagseed which got mixed with the rest of the seeds. DP (2) has a week or two left Purple Bud (although not so purple) is also close to harvest

  26. The Crystal Gelato got the chop. A week earlier than I wanted, but Autumn has arrived properly in CT and the powdery mildew has started in her leaves. There is enough cloudy for me. There is a skeleton of a plant left. Inner and lower branches that can go a few days more.
