  3. Has anyone experimented with going from seed directly to 12/12, or from seed to 18/6 for a few weeks and then 12/12? It seems like this is a good way to quickly get to the flowering stage to be able to create feminised seeds. Obviously the yields would be low, but I'd still expect to get quite a few seeds by doing this... Right? Seems to me like this is a good way to start getting a good collection of seeds to keep and trade. (These seems like a good into BTW: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-to-grow-cannabis-from-seed-under-12-12-lighting-n330 and https://www.growweedeasy.com/is-12-12-from-seed-worth-it) I'd love to hear an experience people have had with this method

  5. As the title states, we started something and it's taking on a life of its own.... Pic 1 and 2 are the original Swazi mama's babies, all doing well. 3/4 The ''foreigners'' 3. 2x Unknown donated fem seed from the Netherlands. 4. 2x Sour Diesel auto's from Herb Nation 5. 7 bagseed ladies from Swazi origin- The Winter experiment 6. Flowering started lekker 7. Results of topping, 6/7 colas we hope. Topped all the ladies to various degrees to keep them low and improve yield (No 8ft sativa monsters-not stealthy) 8. One exceptional lady going BIG 9. The Ruderalis seems strong in this one. Lots going on and keeping me out of trouble....[emoji16][emoji28] Grow on 420SA Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  6. That is a good root ball my friend.... no wonder those plants grew so well. I'm growing organic in soil and always like to check the root growth after harvesting. To try and get an idea of the overall health of the rootzone. Happy roots+happy plants=good harvest You are doing something right there. Lekker man Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  11. Day 14 A quick update regarding the plants. I will no longer be posting updates on the Chocolope plants in this thread, you can view the progress on the Chocolope plants in their thread over here: I had an issue with burnt leaves on 3 of my plants, not sure whether it was light burn from the LED's or whether the plants were not happy with the soil. I did not feed any nutes to the seedlings, they all got the same and have all been under the same lights and same environment etc. They all received the same soil when transplanted as well and the 3 which had their leaves burnt was all next to each other therefore I suspect light burn. The burnt leaves seem to have slowed down growth a bit on these 3 plants although they have bounced back and are growing strong. The one GDP #2 was affected quite badly and I thought it would die, so I transplanted it into a mug so I could use the big pot for one of the Chocolope seedlings. I think I damaged the Chocolope in the process but the GDP seems to be recovering as it has sprouted new leaves and is growing! Very impressed with how resilient the GDP is. As you can see, it is the smallest of the low, albeit understandable. The Sticky Icky (Girl Scout Cookie x BB#3) are by far the fastest growing plants. All 3 are growing faster than the rest and I am really eager to see the end results! My CBD Critical Mass is doing very well, which I am most happy about as I only had one of those seeds and plan to clone it when the time is right. Bruce Banner #3 and GDP are about on par in terms of growth. The overall growth on the plants is really good I feel, the bag seed plant is doing well too - although the leaves have a bit of a weird colouring to them and I am not sure whether it is just new growth or if something is not 100%? The colouring on the leaves are not quite uniform, the inner part of the leaves seem to have a bit more of a lighter colouring in a way... It has increased in size and bushiness quite a bit over the past 2 days, I am not 100% sure how to train it at the moment as it is very bushy and the stems are not growing very long and underneath the top leaves are even more nodes. Perhaps I started with LST too soon and should have let it grow a bit taller first? All seedlings have only been given plain water and water mixed with EM Pro Soil. Next wateringI may start feeding with low concentrates of Fish Mix. Bag seed is receiving fishmix along with EM Pro Soil.

  12. So I repotted the seedlings and so far all is looking good. Im starting to struggle with space and the limit of power I have for the LED's is not helping at the moment. I've topped (or tried to) the bagseed plant to see what happens. Not sure what more to do regarding LST on the bagseed plant, I'll watch more videos and see what's best to do. Below are the plants which are growing faster, except Choc #2 - the slowest out of all the plants. Took forever to germinate and become a seedling: Here we have the rest of the plants, which are a bit slower: The bag seed plant, which I am using to experiment with: Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  13. Big mama is doing well, but not quite there yet. I know it's late in the season, but she is soo close I don't want to stuff it up by harvesting early. 1st 2 pics trichs too clear. Started the winter outdoor grow as an experiment. Extending daylight with artificial light. We have very mild winters, so we'll see how they perform. 3rd pic. Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
