@Oolong83 you could mix those nutrients together depending on what you want to achiive, higher N levels, etc. The most important is to keep a ratio, don't mix all of them full strength but in ratio, would be my advice. and also only when needed. Used on their own is easier not to screw up inmo.

I'm growing outdoor organic in my own soil mix. 50%Compost 30%commercial potting soil 20%riversand I feed sparingly with Seagrow and supplement with AACT for the rootzone. I only use rainwater or koipond water. Our Municipality messes with tap water too much. PH is all over the show. Less is more- we tend to think otherwise!! You need to be careful when mixing a whole bunch of stuff together. It usually causes more problems than it solves. Been there got the t-shirt. Shotgun remedies are bad. If the signs are on the old growth but the new growth looks good, give the plant some time. It wil show you what it needs. Right, that makes it easier . I'm not sure what it would be with 25% soil, probably still the normal soil pH target. For pure coco/perlite you are doing hydroponics so use those targets Then it seems like 5.8 is the ideal range. I'm probably over cautious doing the calmag the way I'm doing it, but so far no issues... Hopefully someone can confirm that is is a Ca deficiency as I'm only guessing though. So if you are in pure coco/perlite (+vermiculite) you are doing at least daily watering with nutrients right? I'm doing twice a day, which seems very odd after having to restrain myself when growing in soil. I'm mostly following articles from cocoforcannabis.com but shout if you want more detail on what has been working for me Anyway here are two charts showing the pH targets, I hope the plants come right!

@Dank just to double check... Using pure coco/perlite is the same as hydroponics. The coco is only going to hold whatever you last watered, so you are supposed to add nutrients with every watering. I.e. its very unlike soil. The advantage is you get much more control since you can easily keep the pH, EC and nutrient levels exactly where you want them and adjust then very quickly (hours max). The disadvantage is that you need to add ferts (fertigate) much more often (at least daily). I'm not sure only using them when needed makes sense here? Perhaps it is different with these specific nutrients..., I know the guys on the coco forum have been trying with organics but I've not followed that closely.

I'm not sure , hopefully one of the organic growers can confirm. I know it can matter so I guess it is best to follow the instructions until you get an answer. I'm using synthetic nutrient and I do mix a batch for a few days which is convenient, the hortimix ferts have been really cost effective and work well so far. Hey Acid Alice Don't know if you have these. Accordingly, looks like P, Mg or Boron. Leaves also lookin very dark green like too much Nitrogen. What medium, grow condition, plant age/stage. Could it be a deficiency(shortage) or toxicity(too much) or a lockout? Difficult to diagnose like this. Let some of the other growers also share their opions. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Afternoon, I think everybody has had this happen to them to a certain extent. The honey tip is a good one, thanks. Didn't know that. Here's my kit Electrical tape, supportive and stretchy for binding, even on a light break. Wooden splint to keep the branch straight Wire, cableties and bagties to tie splints Compost tea to mitigate plant stress and help with the healing. I've trained bonsai's before, so with the wire you have to be careful that it doesn't cut into the branch as it grows. Cannabis grows so fast, you have to check on healing regularly. I think im just gonna replant them into pure coco/perlite/vermiculite. Then its somma done. Also with the nutes i use, should i mix them or just use one mix per feeding? The bottles say not to mix, but the vids i watch the guys mix different nutes together? i also add some calmag to each feeding.

Give it a go and let us know, from the reading I did the plant requires around 4 weeks before it will start flowering so during that period you may as well give it more light to let it grow more. Curious to see how it works out for you. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Could it be early signs of calcium deficiency? Hopefully one of the pros can confirm... I'm doing pure coco&perlite and the coc needs to be buffered with calcium and magnesium to avoid this. I think you are doing 25% soil, so I don't think that is considered hydroponic anymore. I'd guess you would be wanting to target the soil pH range rather than the hydro pH range. Also I'd imagine that with a high percentage of coco you'd still be at risk of calcium deficiency. I buffered my coco, add a low concentration of calmag in my nutrients and also apply a calmag foliar spray (I got the calcium-magnesium-nitrate from hyrdroponics.co.za). (FWIW Personally I could not be any happier with the coco/perlite approach, I've seen a massive improvement in my plants since switching. However I've not grown in high quality soil so I can't actually compare. But I don't have much motivation to switch at at any point)

Yeh skeem it will be fine, bit of management and wotnot, never easy growing so many strains in one space. Beautiful canopy Its 420 twice a day and every hour somewhere in the world, twice a day! 420am is the real wake and bake.

Less haste, less speed... Getting this done the fastest is not ever the right way. Yes you need to get the break repaired sooner rather than later.. But way more damage can be done in haste, than can be repaired by the plant in time... So take it easy The split or break is likely very unused to being in the open air and will need to be the first point of focus... Smear honey into the break and apply kelpak aswell... Next is to try bring the break back to where the stem is, and hold it there. I have found that a stiff wire works best for this task, because there is no stretch in it like string or shoelaces have. Twist the wire around a branch that is not broken and can support the broken branch, pull the broken branch up to close the split, honey and kelpak should be coming out the sides, and then tie the branch so it does not separate away from the split when you let go. Additional splints might be necessary, or you might need to hold the plant up with straps, possibly to the light fitting. Alternatively you could place something underneath the branch to hold it up. Now, if you managed to close the gap, and support the plant, you should be good to go.. All that's left for you to do is LEAVE THE PLANT THE EFF ALONE!!! She needs time to heal, and her moving around or even too much moving air can hinder its healing and prolong healing time. After a few weeks you could take the braces off and remove the wires and such... But I don't, I leave it until harvest to not tempt the break to rebreak. And that's it... Shit Happens... But as lo g as you have a plan and the kit on hand, you will be okay

It's another early morning off day gardening session for me. Having potted 15 clones and checking up on my flowering girls which has gone to 12 days since 12/12 switch. Bay11 is taking a tos long time to gooi pistils but it'll get there. The rest are already going nicely. My AK, BD, Bay11 and Lemon Diesel are all over 1m already from the ground to the tip. The two AH girls aren't far off 1m a piece either. The runts are the SA and DC OG, take a peek. Perhaps you could find a fellow member who would be willing to assist you, but i don't know of any brick and mortar seed shops, i only know of online seed shops. They are however trustworthy, you don't need to worry about that. The packaging is also discreet so can get it delivered to your work place unless they open packages.

I just pick her up and move her. Probably looks kak funny to someone watching me do it. Moving the cement bag with the grace of a warthog. All the moving will be well worth it if she hits the pound mark. Or anywhere near in fact. Moving plants around I do all the time just to get every last drop of sunlight I can. And I do like to check a whole lot of things with my plants. Weighing daily etc. It all becomes part of my logs and notes, and helps me improve the next run with that genetics.
