  1. Hehe, So, I've got the 3500K + 660nm and the 3000K + 660nm boards in the tent, dimmed really low but about 20cm at the closest point. Will see how it goes. Reckon it's a good spectrum spread, so I'll get rid of extraneous gear and stick with this setup.

  2. High time for a update... pun intended. 7 weeks 2 days since germination and the ladies are progressing very well. I must confess I should have rather used the same strain for this experiment, seeing how different each strain respond to training makes me feel that it's a bit of a missed opportunity, but at the end of the day if that is what I (we) learn from the ordeal it's not all bad. Anyway, let's get to the part where I post pictures and stop talking nonsense. CBD Crack Auto, topped early on in the grow. My favourite out of the 3 due to how she responded, 4 main colas with strong branches, I might even top each of the 4 colas to have 8, but I will see, might be a bit late in the day. From the side: Top view showing the 4 main colas: Nice thick main branch sprouting into 4 side branches: Fastberry Auto, bend over and pinned some of the branches to the side. Not quite what I wanted, colas all uneven and she started flowering already... Where I think I went wrong was to not bend her over more, but my pins was starting to cut into the fast growing trunk so I loosened it a bit... Side view: Top view: Showing a purple flower starting to form: Daiquiri Lime Auto, no training, no leaves taken off. She is growing extremely fast and tall and the fan leaves are huge, very impressed. Side view showing her hight: Top view: Very large fan leaves (as big as my hand): So far it is not to difficult to say what's working best... yes that's right, doing nothing I'm still rooting for the CBD Crack that I topped, things will be happening soon, I can feel it! Until next week... or the week after that... or the week after that

  3. Hey all Had a crappy harvest end of season which led to much less bud than anticipated. But oh well, you live you learn. But that did not stop me from trying again with indoors and I thought fuck it let's do a grow report. Medium I'm using is Freedom Farm and the best part is that their soil price did not increase so that quite cool. I germinated in small 6 packs and after thinking they were growing slow I found upon transplant that they were getting root bound. So I grabbed some pots filled it with soil and added Mycoroot to the bottom of the hole. I watered them slightly but just enough to see a few drops coming out the bottom and placed them back in the tent. So I'll check in again as soon as things start growing. 4. So started some LST on the plants, I probably should have started a bit sooner with some of them. The plants are starting to drink more for sure. Also the CBD Critical Mass is pushing some nicely sized leaves! It's looking impressive for sure! Quite unexpected.

  6. R80 for 50l. Amazing price, but I need nutes from grow guru, and there fabric pots are slightly cheaper. No point in paying twice for shipping.

  9. Cool man. Was considering making my own. My girlfriend would be able to. But I've only been able to find weed gaurd fabric at builders for R200 for a 1m x 10m. Might do that though. What material do you use? And where did you find it? The biobizz will stretch that far? Great news. Think I will go with cannasmiths for beans, they're the most affordable with the royal queen brand, which is my favourite at the moment. Picknmix promo also looking lit at.

  10. The latest LED technology has enabled LEDs that emit white light to be even more efficient than blue and red (blurple) LEDs. Enabling better yields at lower cost. Mars-Hydro has recently released two new quantum board type grow lights. The TS series is a more budget friendly range, while the SP series is a premium waterproof grow light.

  11. Thanx for the replies guys. I have been using the AQ SF Liquid from Jamie's Garden Shop for another lady in flower, my last spray I added a bit of oil as a wetting agent, seems to have helped but this is my third spray... Will have to look into a proper IPM regiment going forward as it's really suck making all the effort only to battle PM in the last weeks of flower.

  12. This thread has been cleaned up. Drifted light years away from the point of this topic. @Apollo Flux and @growopz you guys can settle your differences elsewhere. If you want to punt/promote or try to make light that your products are better than anyone else's you can do that through the advertising channels just like others have to. Otherwise let the members here decipher for themselves and report back to the forum. Education is good but when you drag your products into your arguments you can consider those posts removed. Don't even waste your time
