  3. Hey guys, planning an organic grow, out doors, in pots though. Going with FF soil and biobizz. All the organic growers out there, which nutes do you use, and what additives? Been doing some reading about biobizz grow and fishmix, and I'm stuck on which to get, new to growing, and I've read that the fishmix can be a bit more forgiving, some do both, but got conflicting reports about it leading to possible nitrogen toxicity? Which do you use, and why? Any input is appreciated.

  4. Missmayhem, We're doing an organic outdoor grow, using my own soil mix. I alternate with Seagrow, AACT and rainwater every 3 days approx depending on the plants requirements. Cannabis plants require more nitrogen during vegetative growth, during flowering they require less. So if you want to use both, you can alternate between biobizz and fishmix(not sure if they can be mixed), but be aware that you'll have to reduce the N feeding during flowering. Too much N during flowering will cause toxicity. FF soil is good(reviews on forum),have a look at the ''organic'' thread on this forum. Lots of info on FF soil and organic nutes. Cheers..[emoji4] Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  5. I think it's all relative to why you're growing. If you're spending 2.4K on power per month, it probably isn't for personal use alone. My grow probably costs me around R600 per month now, but it's still financially viable. I should harvest around 700 - 900g in my current setup. With a 6 month grow, (call it a kg for ease of math) let's say my nutes and misc items cost me another R1400 over the grow period. R5000, from start to finish, giving me a cost price of R5 per gram for something I would need to pay R150 per gram for elsewhere. Kind Sir, the cost of electricity is irrelevant. 7. That is awesome, 240w is illuminating the tent nicely, really low power usage. Looking forward to your updates man, take it easy.

  8. Iv been monitoring the tops to make sure they don't go dry dry... The hydro keeps em moist... Not soggy Yea man I'm keen to see them grow... Hopefully they are what iv been told!! Edit - my curiosity got the better of me this morning and I went to investigate what's taking long... Barely scrapped the top mm of the jiffys and lo and behold... 2 seedlings that will probably be another 3 days before I see them emerge on their own... Note to self... Exercise some damn restraint and patience Richard!!

  9. My father always says, if the ductape doesn't work. You've probably just didn't use enough of it. Even if it's half the roll. Ductape even fixes some people's kak attitude, just depends how much you wrap around their face and mouth Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  11. AQSF is a spore you spray on the girls for PM or just a good preventing of the PM. You can purchase it at Jamie or from Hydrobiz. Works really well with some canola oil to make it adhere to the leaves. Well I need to fix my ducting intake that bliksemed off and need to add an additional fan to my flowering tent. LoL pretty boring stuff tbh bru Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  12. Mind my ignorance... But what is AQ-SF? And I have an ear for the uninteresting extra stuff... Just routine maintenance... Or something more?

  14. So started some LST on the plants, I probably should have started a bit sooner with some of them. The plants are starting to drink more for sure. Also the CBD Critical Mass is pushing some nicely sized leaves! It's looking impressive for sure! Quite unexpected.

  16. Thanks man! I like the calendar idea, I'm going to do it! A visual aid seems like a perfect tool for me. I ordered the "DIY" (using supplied Wago connectors) kits from China. It can pull 240W, but I've dimmed them down a LOT, and am monitoring the leaves for any signs of stress. Doing my best to save as much electricity as possible, while still having a good light spread. Love this hobby.

  18. Alright you dinkleberries, update of the current situation. Had to spray my flowering girls as I'm waiting to get some AQ-SF for my girls tomorrow morning to have them sprayed down tomorrow evening. Veg tent is going on with a bunch of clones. Some looking like a dog ate it, some looking like the dog then kotsed it up. Other than that they are moving along. With the tallest girls in the flowering tent currently being the Lemon Diesel and AK the others aren't far behind. I need to add a fan to the bottom of the tent also but need to whip up a lead I can use for that. So far its smooth sailing. Okay bye. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  19. I agree freedom Farm soil with biobizz Bloom if you have extra bucks get the biobizz grow too but you won't need it for the first few weeks the freedom Farm soil should be good for 6-8 weeks atleast I also add a bit of Epsom salt when using biobizz

  20. Update on the unknown strains. Some of these guys are surprising me with some amazing growth over just a few days(pic1&2), cant wait to see what they look like next tomorrow, i mean next week;) i did also notice the ones doing so great are the ones in coco/perlite/soil mix, gave no kak at all. The other that are just in coco/perlite/vermiculite showed signs of deficiencies early already and has been up and down to keep their ph at 5.8, which for some reason after adding mix reads at 6.2. Yes the mix was ph balanced to 5.8 before feeding. i think on next replant i will add all of the plants to coco/perlite/soil mix instead. Also takes less feedings, as suppose to everyday feedings with coco/perlite/vermiculite.

  21. Have been smoking the Amnesia Auto XXL (1) the last 3 weeks (has been in glass jars for about 8 weeks) Definitely a sativa dominate smoke (what I was looking for). Currently my only smoke and I often find myself cleaning or doing tasks after I had a some. I procrastinate a lot and this really helps get me going.

  23. It's another early morning off day gardening session for me. Having potted 15 clones and checking up on my flowering girls which has gone to 12 days since 12/12 switch. Bay11 is taking a tos long time to gooi pistils but it'll get there. The rest are already going nicely. My AK, BD, Bay11 and Lemon Diesel are all over 1m already from the ground to the tip. The two AH girls aren't far off 1m a piece either. The runts are the SA and DC OG, take a peek. I also potted up my little Vanilla Kush clone which was showing beautiful white roots, no soil lost from the root ball. Have a jas one ouens Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  25. Hey guys, Going to start with a disclaimer. I'm growing for personal use, I do not sell what I harvest and do not intend to do so in the future. I have a outside pool pump room, yes you guessed it, it's where the pool pump lives The room is about 2.5 x 3.5 with vibecrete walls and a zink roof with no ceiling. Started off quite dirty but with some TLC and help from the wife we turned it into a space I think would work nicely for a small grow. Light is a 240 QB from GrowOpz: https://growopz.com/products/qb-240-dimmable-quantum-board-v2 Plants are a Vision Auto and Jack Herer from SeedsMan.com, was outside for a month basically but due to bad medium I decided to start with them and reported them in two 10L Freedom pots with Freedom Farms Premium Classic potting medium. I know repotting the auto was a bad idea but he was going nowhere outside. Nutrients I'm going with BioBizz Grow and Bloom, 2ml per liter Grow per watering. I have a fan in the corner on 1 blowing gently and oscillating towards the two plants, I hope this is fine? Light cycle on 20 / 4 for now with QB at about 80cm above the plants, thinking I should drop it a bit to 60cm? Please see pictures of the before and after project. I would appreciate any advice or comments. Thanx. Before: After:
