Just so you guys know where things are... The software upgrades have been purchased. As you can see the Gallery is already up and running. In the background I'm working on: A portal home page - this will be like a central hub for the forum. Currently a lot is being squeezed onto the main Forums page. A home portal page will relieve the forums page of the clutter and will feed more activity in a better arranged manner. Grow Reports Page - Over here you'll be able to submit your own grow reports which will feature a whole bunch of data on your grow including images. You'll be able to submit your grow report through a form after which the grow report will be tabled out neatly for everyone to see. Essentially we'll be building a database on genetics and how they perform under different conditions, feeding regimes etc. Will keep you guys posted3 points

Go Alibaba route, either R2T or Meiju. Good quality quantum board clones, with legit diodes. I've been running my 4 of their 800 diode boards for close to a year with zero issues. Stay away from companies like NaLite and Ono. The lights look pretty, but the quality is garbage. I just replaced a popped power supply in mine this weekend. Thankfully I had a spare power unit so i have 10 backs ups, but i'll most likely be rebuilding this light and rip out their shit drivers and stick in two mean wells.2 points

Aaaaaah i see. Thanks for that. Coz i actually bought a big airstone to assist with a better spread.2 points

The small bubbles don't cause enough flow/disturbance in the water. Bigger bubbles breaking the surface are better. Airstones get gooey/clogged quickly and become a breeding ground for the wrong bacteria- you can cross contaminate your teas with the airstone. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk2 points

Back in their tent goes the flowering girls. I've checked into the fan I need to get added in there and need to do a bit of making things before it's ready to be hung. So that's going in tonight which will provide air moving at the bottom of the tent too. I've opened the girls up by quite a bit to help with the flow of ganja Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk2 points

Awe, I'm with Greenkush, I got my QB288v2 from Meiju. Couldn't be happier! And you won't find QB's here in SA for cheaper. Not unless they look really kak1 point

Yezzir it's 20L pots but a few of them isn't even fully filled because I don't feel it's needed. I'm liking how they currently look Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Tap water has calcium as well. Yes. I'm on day 40, watered 9 times and I still over watered in the beginning.1 point

You're over watering and overfeeding because of it. Water less Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

The above and I wouldn't add nutes so early in soil. I gave my soil ladies their first nutes on day 40. Do you need to add calmag? What water are you using?1 point

Alrighty then fellas it's another early morning grindorino for me with the majority of what I wanted to do with the girls. You know how I do it, so let's get to it with the first 4 pics being of my flowering girls before their haircut. We have entered week 3 of flowering for them with the Bay11 being the slowest fool. Pic 1: Strawberry Amnesia left and DC OG right Pic 2: Amnesia Haze twins Pic 3: Bay11 left and Lemon Diesel right, the LD will get more support today with dowels. Bloody 1.2m tall plants and their issues. Pic 4: Blue Dream left and AK right Pic 5: Bay11 stalk, she's a thicc gurl Some after photos of various plants getting the AQ-SF treatment with a heavy dose of oil to make it stick. The flowering girls will still get a feed this morning after they've dried themselves off, bloody whores. That's all for now folks, fokken all of it Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Yeah, we won't push our luck. Will get one of those cheap ph testers. They should be fine? Exact same one someone was selling on the classifieds the other day. Sent from my MYA-L02 using Tapatalk1 point

Seems like there could me more than one issue here. Seedlings don't like too much water, is that perlite or vermiculite in your soil? Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk1 point

High time for a update... pun intended. 7 weeks 2 days since germination and the ladies are progressing very well. I must confess I should have rather used the same strain for this experiment, seeing how different each strain respond to training makes me feel that it's a bit of a missed opportunity, but at the end of the day if that is what I (we) learn from the ordeal it's not all bad. Anyway, let's get to the part where I post pictures and stop talking nonsense. CBD Crack Auto, topped early on in the grow. My favourite out of the 3 due to how she responded, 4 main colas with strong branches, I might even top each of the 4 colas to have 8, but I will see, might be a bit late in the day. From the side: Top view showing the 4 main colas: Nice thick main branch sprouting into 4 side branches: Fastberry Auto, bend over and pinned some of the branches to the side. Not quite what I wanted, colas all uneven and she started flowering already... Where I think I went wrong was to not bend her over more, but my pins was starting to cut into the fast growing trunk so I loosened it a bit... Side view: Top view: Showing a purple flower starting to form: Daiquiri Lime Auto, no training, no leaves taken off. She is growing extremely fast and tall and the fan leaves are huge, very impressed. Side view showing her hight: Top view: Very large fan leaves (as big as my hand): So far it is not to difficult to say what's working best... yes that's right, doing nothing I'm still rooting for the CBD Crack that I topped, things will be happening soon, I can feel it! Until next week... or the week after that... or the week after that1 point

Just an update on the Lem Skunk seedlings. Went through a bit of a stall in their growth due to calcium def, but it seems to have picked up over the last 2 days. I managed to line the walls with white plastic sheeting, only R23/m(1.5x1.0) also got new lights, it all definitely made a moerse difference. The last pic is just to give you guys an idea on my vegging setup, for now1 point

So decided to snip those dreary looking bottom leaves and they seem to like it alot! Progress is ok seeing how crappy Cape Town weather is at the moment but they look healthy.1 point
