This all goes back to people being ignorant and misinformed. If you have 115g you are running an empire? Wowzer. They're making oil as well, we all know that as soon as you start doing extracts, the amount of flower needed increases significantly. Let's do some maths quickly. Let's say their harvest was a decent 20% in terms of THC, at 120g of dried flower you would get 24g of THC from the extraction, roughly. Significantly less all of a sudden. The problem is people do not understand this due to it being illegal and a taboo topic as well as all the bad media and negativity towards it previously. Change it from weed to alcohol and suddenly everyone understands and it makes sense. 1L of Stroh Rum vs 1L of beer are not the same thing, despite both being alcohol. The issue is the judge most likely does not understand either, most likely not a person with a strong background or understanding of science / chemistry.2 points

All those words they use... Plantation... More likely a few plants Warehouse... More likely kitchen cupboard Bags of weed - no weight listed? No street value listed? Not even an estimate? Sounds more like bankies of weed to me... Several people... Jeez that doesn't even sound like 10 okes 115g? They better come grab me next coz fuck, my empire is about to hit the big time after harvest day This is scare tactics and a poor attempt at that too... Those tannies will be back home by the weekend2 points

I have a tent full of plants, and a shortage of stash, so flower time ... Mixed batch, originating from clones and seeds, although they're all pachamama stock, so just taking what I get. Theoretically, White Widow, Gorilla Glue #4, Super Lemon Haze, Super Silver Haze & Blue Kush. I say theoretically, because previous experience has shown they end up pretty much the same. Nice, but not what was expected. So, here goes....1 point

Transplant time... Going into 10L buckets... Used the Stork seedling pots to keep the same shape and just flipped them out and to their new homes1 point

Correction they say 20-30+ grams You cant expect much from a 2 month plant though so 20-30 g's does sound about right. It's not ideal this system but it's an option for those who can't grow their own1 point

I have a feeling that she was pollinated by the DP Blueberry I had outdoor that hermied late in flower due to crazy weather and high stress So it's more of a test run for me to see what comes out of this.. I'm very keen to get more Ayla blueberry in the ground outdoor and nows the time to plant before outdoor season1 point

Membership is R949 per month and depending on strain can take up to 14 months from seed to harvest, meaning you will pay R13 000 for the space with a max of two plants, that's allot of $$$ for two plants... Think I need to work on a business plan, missing some good $$$1 point

I feel you there.. I suppose it does come down to our individual needs. Looking at it from an 'illegal to legal' perspective I'm just glad to have freedom to carry enroute to smoke1 point

Id be sure to give an update should I complete this mission. For now I'm just trying to understand which would be the best way to go about it, one thing is for sure it won't be cheap so it would take me some time to get there BTW live rosin is the hash then press method live resin is the bho way of doing it1 point

Day 28 Grow is going well, I am making mistakes but learning from them and then just learning in general. I finally got some foldback clips so could start more LST. I have had some issues with my feeding / watering, I did not realize how low the PH was and that caused some of my plants to be a bit unhappy. EM Pro Soil lowers PH very quickly! This has been corrected and I will be PH correcting all feedings going forward, will be aiming for a PH of 6.0 I also noticed some pre-flowering sex pistils showing on my bagseed plant. It confused me at first. haha I trans-potted GSC #2 as she has been unhappy as she drinks too quickly and was seems to have outgrown the pot she was in, I made some instant-transplant pots and so far it seems to have worked very nicely. I guess only time will tell for sure. The 20L fabric pot is quite large, I have some of the Grow Guru ones but am expecting delivery of some Plant Matter fabric pots tomorrow and then want to try get some Bidim and make some square fabric pots to help save space. as the square pots are shaped better and with limited space make quite a difference, annoying nobody stocks square fabric pots locally. I am expecting the 480W LED driver to be ready for collection tomorrow, may only be able to collect on Thursday though - currently I am limited to 180W of power and with the more powerful LED driver I will be able to do the full 480W which the QB's are capable of. My tent is setup and ready, I will move the smaller LED driver and 2x QB288's into the tent for now and then later on may swap it around and use the tent for flowering and the room for veg / clones. I had to pop my 3rd Dauqiari Lime auto seed as the one did not germinate, the auto's are doing well although I may remove them from this thread and start a new thread relating to them as I have different plants for them...1 point

Yezzir it's 20L pots but a few of them isn't even fully filled because I don't feel it's needed. I'm liking how they currently look Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Back in their tent goes the flowering girls. I've checked into the fan I need to get added in there and need to do a bit of making things before it's ready to be hung. So that's going in tonight which will provide air moving at the bottom of the tent too. I've opened the girls up by quite a bit to help with the flow of ganja Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Flowering : Week 1 Not much to report. First full week on 12/12. Manually watered, added 1.4EC powder feeding. Just ordered the necessary to convert the flower tent from Autopot drip system to a full ebb and flow. The autopot jams and overflows at the slightest impurity, which has then caused powdery mildew... The tent is on a raised platform, so easy enough to convert, theoretically...1 point

High time for a update... pun intended. 7 weeks 2 days since germination and the ladies are progressing very well. I must confess I should have rather used the same strain for this experiment, seeing how different each strain respond to training makes me feel that it's a bit of a missed opportunity, but at the end of the day if that is what I (we) learn from the ordeal it's not all bad. Anyway, let's get to the part where I post pictures and stop talking nonsense. CBD Crack Auto, topped early on in the grow. My favourite out of the 3 due to how she responded, 4 main colas with strong branches, I might even top each of the 4 colas to have 8, but I will see, might be a bit late in the day. From the side: Top view showing the 4 main colas: Nice thick main branch sprouting into 4 side branches: Fastberry Auto, bend over and pinned some of the branches to the side. Not quite what I wanted, colas all uneven and she started flowering already... Where I think I went wrong was to not bend her over more, but my pins was starting to cut into the fast growing trunk so I loosened it a bit... Side view: Top view: Showing a purple flower starting to form: Daiquiri Lime Auto, no training, no leaves taken off. She is growing extremely fast and tall and the fan leaves are huge, very impressed. Side view showing her hight: Top view: Very large fan leaves (as big as my hand): So far it is not to difficult to say what's working best... yes that's right, doing nothing I'm still rooting for the CBD Crack that I topped, things will be happening soon, I can feel it! Until next week... or the week after that... or the week after that1 point

Alright you dinkleberries, update of the current situation. Had to spray my flowering girls as I'm waiting to get some AQ-SF for my girls tomorrow morning to have them sprayed down tomorrow evening. Veg tent is going on with a bunch of clones. Some looking like a dog ate it, some looking like the dog then kotsed it up. Other than that they are moving along. With the tallest girls in the flowering tent currently being the Lemon Diesel and AK the others aren't far behind. I need to add a fan to the bottom of the tent also but need to whip up a lead I can use for that. So far its smooth sailing. Okay bye. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

So decided to snip those dreary looking bottom leaves and they seem to like it alot! Progress is ok seeing how crappy Cape Town weather is at the moment but they look healthy.1 point

Day 21 Some good growth has happened this past week on majority of the plants. I added some auto's into the mix, want to get some STS and do a bit of experimenting and reversing to try get some seeds and see how it turns out. Daiquari Lime #2 does not have a seed in it yet, I popped 2 and the one has not yet germinated so popped the 3rd and now waiting for that to germinate and then I will pot it. My Bag seed plant is growing nicely, although is not happy about something so I did a semi flush on Sunday and will monitor it. Either PH issues or too many nutes, I may have started feeding too early. Very very bushy though and I am not sure what to do with her? The others are all doing well, liking the growth I have been seeing on the CBD Critical Mass, GSC #2 is has not been happy the past two days or so. Will check the roots tonight, perhaps she is root bound. GDP #2 will need to be re-potted soon too, surprised it survived actually. Very robust strain. Will be a bit behind the others but happy to wait a bit longer for it. I am sure the yields will be worth while.1 point

Slight discoloration of the bottom 2 leaves on one plant something to worry about? They've been under lights since 8 this morning as it crappy weather in Cape Town. Last watered yesterday morning and bucket weight doesn't feel too light to water them just yet....1 point

These were taken tonight 20190530_201326 20190530_201344 Some perspective of how long the 2 day old sprouts is compared to the 7 day old shorter ones 20190530_201538 20190530_201430 20190530_201601 20190530_201622 20190530_201649 20190530_201657 20190530_201636 20190530_201622 Weather's been cloudy in Cape Town today and they've been under lights in my makeshift little grow box for 12 hours straight and to my eyes looks like they doing ok1 point

Hate to break it to you, that is where HLG originally got their QB boards manufactured, by Bava or Hansion. Sure... I think you misread. I was saying that a new production run of QBs wouldn't be a good idea now. It was a good idea when I did it in June 2017. But now everyone in Shenzhen has caught on, and is sitting on stock of HLG clones, ready to sell. I would rather put my effort into designing something that you can't get from China (yet).1 point

Awe Awe. Sorry for being AWOL ouens. Lots has been happening since December. Dried bud was 91g. No rot this time around. I will upload a few pics and a smoke report sometime soon. Lessons learnt with this one. Soil is the tits, bigger small pots, less plants, maybe a scrog. Less is more in all aspects.1 point
