  2. One thing which fascinates me is that locally when people talk about vaping it is often liquids / extracts as opposed to vaping dry bud. Much easier to vape bud IMO, less hassle. I really enjoy it!

  4. But what happens when they have a bad run... Or seeds don't germinate... Or they run into problems...... Lose everyone's plants... What happens when shit hits the fan for whatever reason? I would love to support these guys... But there are too many variables and risks where, me, the end user takes the brunt if it all falls down. I would personally love to grow for everyone in the world... But I can't... Legally... And maybe I'm jealous or something... But if I can't do it, they shouldnt be able to either

  5. That's not reassuring, if I ever need to use it I'll give it a try and if nothing then switch to milk. @CreX is the PnP brand better than the Woolies and Checkers for Powdery Mildew? [emoji14] lol Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  6. One application, and the results were immediate, I use the efecto spreader/sticker that you can get from builders or where ever, and it works quite well.. As for the milk, it's not a miracle cure... Yes the results speak for themselves, but I'll prob need to do this a few times to completely get rid of it.. And now that iv tried it, it's no sweat to do it again... I'll prob try do it once a month... And switch it up with bicarb to reduce infection, also once a month... Then one week they get a Mg spray.. And one week a humic acids and kelp mix Let it rain down in Africa

  8. Be prepared to pay a year's worth of rent upfront. Landlords will want to insure themselves against possible changing legislation. Or you could rent a house/commune and start a communal setup there. That'd probably be way cheaper, but now you're living with the boys growing an unreasonably hilarious amount of ganja

  9. That's wack. Should be a TH license per store, with a registered healer on site when cannabis is sold. There should be some kind of consultation process instead of just taking the piss, lie about your "chronic back ache" and purchase sub-medicinal cannabis. It not only disrespects cannabis, but also the genuine work some traditional healers put into helping people.

  10. Yup - confirmed, that it is being alleged to operate under TH license.

  12. I think social clubs would be super dope. I think the great barrier to that is location, privacy and the ability to be ensured that it will not be confiscated or destroyed.

  13. I buy my perlite directly from Pratley. Works out to less than R200 for a 100l. But the Coco is a good price. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  14. Schindlers as well as The Haze Club both use the premise of privacy to argue the case of personal, private use of cannabis, Schindlers within the Constitutional Court, and The Haze Club within the capitalist environment. If you do not need a license to grow for yourself at home, then you don't need a license to pay someone to grow "your" weed. Also, because of how a lease agreement works in South Africa, when you lease a space, you are in all legal respects the owner of that space for the duration of that lease agreement. This is probably why they limit the number of plants to two, most likely on the advise of Schindlers, which could hint towards what we can expect for the legislation to state when it is eventually passed.

  16. Hey everyone, Long time lurker of the forums. I started reading through this forum when I grew my first indoor starting in November 2018. Shout out to the homies at GTHydro that sorted me out on some nice Black/Green Friday deals. I'd also like to shout out hydroponic.co.za, Grow Guru and Hydro Herb Africa. I decided early on not to buy all my stuff at one place and I am immensely stoked at the quality of service from all the mentioned outlets. I've tried another local forum that has a few marijuana consumption/growing topics but I wasn't getting the vibe I was looking for and I didn't want to put in effort into that forum community if it wasn't going to grow and reciprocate. So here I am, looking for like-minded people with a love for the herb. I am eager to learn more on growing this wonderful plant, and I look forward to sharing the experience with the people here

  18. Agreed there a plenty variables at play and surely they must have answers to all these concerns. One would hope that if they lose your crop they would compensate you but then again you are leasing a space and not paying for the bud so yet another big question there If these guys can do it, anyone can do it including you. I may be wrong but what this effectively means is that you can rent out an empty room in your house to a handful of people and grow their bud for them. Not so? Good way of making some money out of an empty space in your house Depends how much you smoke lol 20-30 g's won't last me a month! So this wouldn't be an option for me or many of us on here
    1 point
  19. So here's my maths.... if you get the claimed 20-30g's every 2 months we're looking at this: R949-00 x 2 = R1898-00. Factor in the price of 2 seeds which I will put at R200 a seed so that's an extra R400-00. That puts total cost to the customer per 2 months at R2298-00 If you get the minimum of 20 g's of bud. R2298-00 divided by 20 gives us R114-00/gram. If you get 30 g's that's R76-00/gram. Where on the street do you get indoor grade cured bud for that price? It's essentially cost price. I can also guarantee you, come the day we have proper dispensaries, I doubt the prices will be lower than this. Just wanna make it clear I don't know or have any affiliation to these guys. I just don't, from the face of it, see any reason to bash it. This is no Cannapax IMO

  20. I believe it can take a bit of time for the AQ sf to work, I don't fully understand it although from what I read and how it is meant to work - something along the lines of it also "colonizing" or growing over / on / in the PM and then it finally start to eat it away. So I believe it can take up to 2 weeks, although should eat it away then and it should be gone. Milk is an easy, cheap option though - albeit a smelly one.

  21. Pull that shit straight from the tit of a pregnant lady bro fucking tell you the plants will be booming! LoL Psy well dude I don't know what's going on, I used the AQ-SF last time during veg and got decent results with pm doing a fucking off of note and now I went in the last few weeks, spraying atleast once a week with the AQ-SF and the PM just came back. I sprayed the top, bottom and stalks of all those girls. Spraying 2L finish and klaar and had to do that for about 2-3 weeks in a row. Kinda pissed me off Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  22. Internet says... You are going to be diluting it anyways... So any milk is fine. But internet also says that it's the fats and proteins in the milk, so a higher protein milk is better... If you can get raw milk that hasn't been processed, I guess that milk would have the most diverse amino acids and proteins and bacteria and good stuff... But it's not so easy for me to get straight from the cow milk lol... PnP will have to do

  23. If it took only about 5 minutes to fully expand then they're good. The ones this side took kak long, 40-50min for a half stiff soggy mess Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk

  24. Interesting, glad it works. Cheap solution for sure. I got some AQ sf (Ampelomyces quisqualis) although purchased it for just incase, it's a parasitic fungus which basically feeds on the PM as far as I understand. Safe to use during flowering too, as milk would be I'd imagine. How often did you spray and how long until you saw results? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  29. Thanks to everyone who has a view on this venture - some interesting questions. I'm indirectly involved in the business, but probably the wrong person to answer detailed technical questions. We have a botanist (Greenthumb) who is responsible for the growing ops, so I will ask him to provide the info. Fundamentally though, The Haze Club was set up as a service to grow for people who either can't or don't want to grow their own. IF you have the knowledge, interest and time to do it yourself, this would be the way to go (why pay anyone else to do what you can do yourself?). But most people don't.

  30. Planted this choco seed in March for germination testing. Left her in a 1l pot in the corner. Decided to see how she would go through her senescence. She did not hermie, and has reacted to the winter solstice. She has started revegging, so potted her up into a 20l pot. Nice little monster crop on the way that I may force flower in a few months.

  32. The yellowing is normal, just the plant using the last nutrients left in her so definitely indicates the end is near. It also depends if you want more amber or clear. Clear trichs are head buzzy and amber is nuts glued to the couch Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk
