  1. Pratley is a bit far for me to save a R50 note.. But it's the same shit... Growlite is a product of pratley perlite And size looks okay? I spoke with the lady there, and these guys are the hortishop suppliers... Some of the big boys... And they aren't too happy that SA Horticulture has gone public.. I could say a few names... But all you need to know is that this is the place they come to for stock. Much love guys!

  2. Day 46 Plants are doing well, I am intrigued by the way the CBD Critical Mass is growing still, quite different compared to the others and looks a bit different too - not in a bad way, just different. I have not flipped to flower yet, will be doing so soon though, I am getting impatient. I need to make sure my current clones get rooted first and then I need to take some more clones and then I can flip. The bagseed has stayed very short compared to the other plants, despite being older. They're all in the same environment. I like the way the canopy has formed on the bagseed. The GDP #2 is not in the tent, it's in the veg room. It seems to have gotten stunted after repotting - perhaps I fucked up with it. GDP #1 is not showing it's sex yet, although is not stunted. So if GDP #1 is a female then I will continue with that and cull or give away GDP #2. I have stopped the LST with GDP#2 until I get confirmation of sex. Perhaps it seems silly to get rid of a GDP when I have a bagseed going, but I feel I have committed soo much time and effort into the bagseed that I may as well flower it and see what it yields, I have not taken any clones of it so have no way of ever growing it again and obviously no way of knowing what it is. The mystery is rather exciting to a point, not something I'll do again in a hurry - if ever again.

  3. Hey everyone, I'm just wondering what everyone else's take is on removing fan leaves. I generally remove them once I feel the side branch is big enough to catch enough light without the help of the bigger leaves, allowing lower branches to get some light as well. Side by side grows in my experience shows minimal difference in yield though. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  4. So this grow has been underway for some time already but I've got all the baby photos so here's a recap. Strain: White Widow (Auto) Freedom Farms soil 200W LED 1.4x1.4m tent About a two weeks from germination. Two weeks later Week 5 - Bottom left plant seems to be suffering from some sort of deficiency Week 6 - Plant bottom left still showing strange symptoms, believe its a genetic mutation or something at this stage Back left still leading the pack since the start! She is the first to show some pistils! Week 8 - all plants showing pre-flowers now, back left is moving fast into flower As you can see, front left is still looking pretty strange, however she's almost as tall as the biggest one ...

  5. Hey guys hope you guys doing well it's Sunday again so it's update time. As you can see from the photos things have changed quite a bit. The growth is quite phenomenal and I'm still feeding seagrow. I'm pretty sure it has to do with soil as well and also with the mycoroot I added but things are surely looking good. 2 of the plants started stretching so those 2 are suspected males. As for the other 3, they are still compact. I want to repot next week but I think it might be a bit to soon. Luckily I'm not pressed for time so another week won't hurt. Maybe 2, depends. I trimmed of the fan leafs to expose the bottom growth to see how the plant responds and if it goes well then Im trimming off the other plants leafs too. Some closer pics of the plants Have a awesome Sunday Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

  6. Thank you very much, In the end, I harvested around 100g from the plant, smoke is unbelievably smooth and tasty, but the potency is a bit weak. Nonetheless it is a great smoke. I think, there were multiple reasons, the main being the plant was a bit root locked, and when i put it in the tent with increased light exposure, air circulation, increased temp it experienced a growth spurt and got unhappy with the lack of space. It was only upwards in growth and happiness after the pot transplant.

  9. I believe you should pull them off once they are at max size and are being shaded by the higher better lit leaves. Defoliation helps the plant to direct energy to the new growth instead of maintaining older leaves. And besides old leaves are targets for pests.

  10. Got rid of the conventional old w100 globe and replaced with w15 led globe... Buckets are light so they need some water... Will feed them some nutes as well as its been 9 days... I think. Will look into the fluorescent lights as I do have small fittings for them to make it work. Thanks for the tip bro!

  11. @Nikkel plants are looking good bro, concerning the lights, inmo the cheapest best option to tie you over for the next month or so is good ol fluorescent tubes, you can pick up a WarmWhite and a CoolWhite, perhaps 30w each, T8's are quite nice. If you could install 4 (2x warmwhite 2x coolwhite) they should style until spring, assuming that the temps inside are warm enough. Good luck man, above mentioned light setup is also great for seedlings/clones and can be kept nice and close to the canopy.

  12. I agree competition is good. These guys had the monopoly for to long. With all these shops popping up, I hope the undercutting of prices continue. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  15. I must say after reading what @Pat999 had to say, on another thread, i was convinced and still am. Better taste and smell but I dont like the way the bud looks after curing for a while. It looks dull allongside the same flower I did not wash.

  16. So a quick update, the plants are looking much better now! Charlottes Angel #2 has recovered nicely. I have deiced to continue with the LST on the Daquari Lime #1 and it's responding very well and I like the growth it's showing. The Daquari Lime is growing very differently compared to the Charlottes Angel which appears to be bushier and not wanting to grow as tall. Both strains are meant to be Sativa dominant. The next spray will happen on Monday evening if all goes to plan.

  22. Doing updates on Mondays will be difficult and I will not have time for it so I would rather do it on Sundays So let's get into this tiny little action going on in my tent.... Today will be the 3rd week after transplanting and I am really impressed with the results so far. All except one has a different grow structure but that it not a bother at all. They have another 2 - 3 weeks left of vegetative growth and then it repotting to the 5L pots. I waited until the pots were a little more drier than usual due to the cooler temps in my house and finally fed them on Friday evening. The growth the day after the feeding was clearly visible and I will surely keep using Freedom Farm and the Mycorrhizae. I'm still using Seagro for veg stage with no problems and the smell is not bothering anyone in the house....at this stage. The growth is nice and compact now but in sure that will change over time and my plan is to lollipop them..... I'm still running a 12-1 cycle and they are looking very healthy...
