Been many a year since I ventured up to the humans world, purveyor of hobbits and fishisis I am. The hills are my home and a 1 horse town with no horse. Looking to learn, share and improve my skill set this season and it will hopefully reflect in my garden. Always had a interest in organics and this season I reckon is a good as any to start. Ive got a cpl seedlings on the go vegging under some fluros under 24hr for now, will drop to 18/6 next month. fishisis I have...... Ogk ATF/ Alaskan Thunder Fook NY GreenCake Blitzspear Luckystar C99 X Blueberry Alaskan Purple 1 X Transkei landrace cpl reg autos I from a pollination last year. They are 17days 9/8.... Decided to start a journal as I'll be entering the outdoor grow off as well.. Tunnel of Mordor........... I have 10x 200-240lt fishing holes dug for some of the new girls. Ill be lining the holes with the rock/crusher stone for drainageI'm going with 50/50 coco/perlite, 50 top soil, 50 compost and ammending with diat earth, fine dolomite lime, turbo grow, rock phosphate, kelp powder. if I've not mentioned anything or you can recommend other additives please do. Eventually I'm wanting to do raised box beds off those spots, but that's more next years objective me thinks... c99 X blueberry...... 12-4/8 Freedoms farms classic mix fed with 1ml biobzz/1lt. Alaskan Purple. 12-4/8 Both are on the same feed/soil at the c99s. #Alaskan2 sprouted a weird 2 finger leaf out but no apical stem, as of this morning I see there is the tip of a leaf poking out, so there's hope of greater things to come... Hope it's a blessed long weekend....2 points

A bud in the hand is worth 2 in the jar[emoji16] Wet trimmed, 8 days drying, 50-65% RH in the jar - 2weeks to to taste test. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk2 points

The Jillybean is back left the rest is all Jackberry. I've grown the Jillybean before and kept it due to its amazing orange naartjie smell and taste. I got rid of all the Jackberry's clones and started 2 Aztec Rain's and 2 Herijuana x Shiva. I also got a selected Zweet Inzanity and Jolly Rancher from a friend traded him some Jillybean. Ordered a Secret Jardin DS120 with some extra accessories from grohydro.co.za.2 points

Not my recipe... Lemon, Orange, Lime, Raspberry, Strawberry and Blackcurrant Fruit Pastilles 240g Fruit Purée 225g caster (superfine) sugar 95g liquid glucose 10g pectin 2.5ml lemon juice Put the fruit purée, 150g of the sugar and the liquid glucose in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Mix the remaining sugar with the pectin in a small bowl. Whisk the pectin mixture into the boiling fruit purée. Continue to cook over a low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches 104°C (219°F) on a sugar thermometer. Mix in the lemon juice and continue to cook for 3–4 minutes. Pour the mixture into a silicone mould and leave to set for 2–3 hours in a cool, dry place. Demould the set pastilles and roll them in granulated sugar.1 point

@Trailblazer420 I was worried about low temps, done 0 here this winter re heating.... Best grow so far, just cloning takes longer.1 point

I would replace the gelatin recipe with a pectin one. Gelatin can get nasty, while pectin is antimicrobial, creates a chewier chew.1 point

What recipe are you using? I don't think you'll be able to get the 'gummy bear' texture perfect due to all the artificial crap they add to it. Here is what I managed to find. 2/3 Cup Fruit Puree, Thawed 1/3 Cup Water 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice 3 Tablespoons Gelatin 2-3 Teaspoons Cannabis Tincture (depending on desired potency) Granulated Sugar Medicine Dropper/Condiment Bottle, Cleaned Silicon Molds/Baking Dish, Sprayed w/ Cooking Spray Instructions In a medium saucepan, add the fruit puree, water and lemon juice and cook on medium-low heat until thoroughly incorporated After thoroughly combined, add 2-3 teaspoons of your cannabis tincture, whisk well Slowly add three tablespoons of gelatin, continually whisking until smooth Remove from heat then use a medicine dropper or clean condiment bottle to add the mixture to silicon molds or baking dish Place filled molds/dish in the refrigerator to chill for about 15 minutes Remove gummies from molds or cut into bite-sized pieces Toss gummies in granulated sugar to keep them from sticking together (add a little citric acid to your sugar at this point if you want sour gummies) Store in an air-tight container in a cool, dark location for up to 2-3 weeks. Would this not be awesome for indoor? I prefer outdoor. But when I saw this I thought you indoor guys would love this.. https://m.takealot.com/#!product?id=PLID495307701 point

12v will connect gnd (black) and the yellow wire. Red is 5v, which is ideal to power arduino sensors. Here's a link for the 'paperclip' trick to power the psu. https://www.wikihow.com/Check-a-Power-Supply Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk1 point

Thanks all, yea, the smell is amazing. I vent into my workshop, and find myself there in the morning just to inhale. I don't get the individual notes, but my girlfriend correctly identified the 2 Super Lemon Hazes from the rest, so it's all there. I did some (late) trimming earlier in the week, dried the tiny immature flowers, and it's way better than anything I could source locally. (did i mention my stash is running low...)1 point

Thanks all - definitely Cal/mag issues. I though that using the Atami coco which is buffered, and FloraCoco which I presumed would be adjusted for Cal?mag in coco would be okay, but will dose them from now. Removed all dead leaves. Thanks1 point
-
Very nice setup man, your tent is looking amazing! Could you point out the jellybean girls?1 point
-
Yea... Slap them with a good dose of calmag if you have... Or Epsom salts at the least... I wouldn't say so much a calcium def... More magnesium... That's the brown rust spots... Dead giveaway... Dose them and they will be right in no time... The damaged leaves will never heal or come right1 point
-
My outdoor showed similar progressive browning/necrosis from the centre of the leaf. Mine identified as a calcium deficiency, I treated it as such. With indoor could be ph related/lockout or just plain deficiency. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Looking very good man, Good canopy, nice colas. Found a couple of nanners on one out of seven outdoor ladies deep into flowering. Just cut them out and carry on regardless. No probs Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

The nanners suck bru, I've had it primarily on my Fruit Spirit I grew the last few rounds but would only come out later in flowering around 5-6 weeks. I never found anything on the other girls only the FS. So far your girls are looking tastey Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Day 33 of flower. I found about 7 nanners on 2 of the Jackberry's so far which really isn't good news. I've never really seen them on any of my plants before. Still looking good so I'm hoping for the best1 point

So I finally did the STS spray tonight. The autos are growing nicely. I will do some trimming tomorrow and neaten them up, expose bud sites to more light. Hopefully I get balls soon... I'm getting impatient and wondering whether I somehow messed up the solution... Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point
