Fermented Plant Juices yes. Look into Korean Natural Farming, a lot of home organic growers are heading in that direction. It basically relieves you of any need to buy commercial bottled nutes and inoculants. Everything can me be made with what you have at home or from the supermarket. That comes down to getting your amendment ratios right in your soil. Couple that with a soil that has cooked well and the plants will use what they need when they need to. That being said, I start my clones/seeds off in a very simple mix - 1 part EWC, 1 part peat moss and 1 part perlite (I dont even feed this mix) and this mix hosts them comfortably till 1 week prior to flipping, when I'll transplant them into their final pots with the super soil.3 points

Saw a small percentage of amber trichomes and decided to take the leap. Even though the short-rider didn't get a flush, I guess I'll find out first hand if it is a considerably harsher smoke. Don't use large amounts of nutes anyway, but we'll see. 3 days drying so far. 70% RH. Dehumidifier stuck in customs, don't know if they'll keep it.2 points

Hahaha, I had the exact same issue! Started out with way more plants than I could flower as I used reg seeds. So also gave some plants away. Feminized seeds makes life much easier.1 point

Healthy outdoor Cannabis plants can handle high temps, providing certain conditions are met. Plants in a pot would stress a lot more than that of one who has its roots in nice cool garden soil, providing the soil is not bone dry. You could always provide them with a shadenet in the heat wave if you are concerned. Indicas generally can handle quite a lot of heat, if the plant is healthy and well cared for it will just eat up that sunshine. Do not move plants from indoors straight into heat like that, they wont enjoy it much.1 point

Hey guys, does anyone have experience with growing indicas in a hot environment? Got our hands on some awesome strains from B&B when the relaunch specials were on. But in the excitement research wasn't done, and we got mostly indicas. 2x ananas funk. Stated as mold resistant, but it's mostly indica. 1x gorilla glue, also indica dominant 1x gorilla glue auto 1x psychedelic. Indica 1x bigger bud. Indica 1x northern lights. Indica 1x amnesia haze, probably the only sensible choice because it's like 95% sativa. All from bulk seed bank, germinated the GG and psychedelic, both seeds cracked in cotton, under a diy humidity dome. No tap root yet. Plan on growing them all in small 4l pots until they mature enough, then moving them straight into the garden. What can I do just to help indicas flourish a bit more in the warmer days to come? Any training I should consider implementing? Thank for any advice guys. Happy growing1 point

Day 64 / Day 12 of Flower Snapped a quick pic this morning, plants are looking good and recovering well from the defoliation. I had to raise 2 of the plants though. Was too lazy to remove it for the pic.1 point

They're drying out quickly and weren't looking great but I watered them last night as well and they're looking happier today. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Thought I'd give an update on what's happening my side grow wise 3 different strains running in my tent at the moment, soon to be 4. Back left - Rare Dankness scotts OG in the Organics matter living soil Back right - Humboldt seeds Amherst Sour Diesel. Also in the OM soil Middle row left - Rare Dankness scotts OG in my own soil Middle row right - Humboldt Seeds Amhest Sour Diesel in my own soil Front - Rare Dankness Starkiller OG in my own soil Delicious Seeds Sugar Black Rose soon to enter in some more OM soil. The Scotts OG's are now 2 and a half weeks through flower. They are clones of the same plant. They were transplanted into their respective soils a week before flip. They came from a regular seed The Sour Diesels are 2 weeks through flower. Also transplanted a week prior to flip. I'm pretty sure I put them in the flower tent too soon but that's no major issue. The Starkiller OG has been in flower for 4 weeks and 4 days now. She came from a regular seed. Only bought 2 regular seeds of this strain, thank fuck the gamble paid off. The first seed I germed and grew out turned out male. So i germed this seed with a clenched nort till she showed sex! As you can tell I'm running the same strains in my soil and the organics matter soil. This wasn't initially intended but I've essentially got a comparison going here. They are clones of the same plants and were very similar in size before being transplanted into their respective soils. Game on! Will do my best to keep you guys updated The Starkiller OG1 point

Ja, take a look at "supercropping". The first time I saw that I thought it was insane. I've done it a couple of times and it still makes me queasy...1 point
-
There we go... Okay sweet... Keep in mind that you would start this process earlier and will have much better results... Good that you haven't flipped yet! Leave those bent... Keep them supported as is... And they will be fine. The colas will perk up to the light in no time and the bends will heal by the time you wanna flip... Depending on how full your net is, maybe push your flip date by another week, unless it has your Chocolopes in with them?1 point

I'm curious to know what methods/machines some of you guys use to mix your own soils? Throwing the soil out and tossing it with a shovel is getting a bit tedious these days for me and tough on the back, at this tender old age of 30 Time is also an issue plus I also don't see it doing the most effective job of mixing the soil thoroughly. I'm aware of using small cement mixers like the one below. My local coastal hire rents them out for R430-00 a day delivery included, which isn't such a bad option I guess but it will be an extra expense. I'm keen to know if any of you have devised your own DIY contraptions to mix soil or just plainly how you do it. @Green Leaf Organics @Totemic @Organics Matter @Toby1 point

I would cut a 200l drum in half... Pretty much make the mixer the same as a concrete mixer vibe... But make it spin with a crank... The electric motor will drive the cost up real high for a simple device1 point

I think I have age on all of you. Give your kid some pocket money and have them mix it or help at least. That is my solution for now. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk1 point

LoL thanks bru[emoji16]I'm happy with how this round turned out. A few grows back I was really in a shitty place regarding my feels and I fucked up a whole grow. So looking at these girls I'm very happy. I can't believe the Lemon Diesel and AK are both around 1.3m tall and still standing Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Bonsai today. I removed the wire and put in a stake to keep her bit sturdier till her stem thicken up and she can support her top weight again. The lower 4 branches I'm busy training out along sosatie sticks for the meanwhile and I'm going to repot her into a 40lt fabric pot when I have space available..1 point

Day 33 of flower. I found about 7 nanners on 2 of the Jackberry's so far which really isn't good news. I've never really seen them on any of my plants before. Still looking good so I'm hoping for the best1 point

Hahaha...!!! Downhill from 30....[emoji44] I'll raise you another 10 and add a slipped disc. Gooi daai graaf meneer[emoji28] But I must admit the engineer in me has been thinking of building something.... necessity is the mother of all inventions. it's all downhill from 30 bru. It gets worse. I mix by shovel. I dont mix up enough to warrant a mixer. Although a mixer is not a bad move if its tons you are talking about. I simply remind myself that this is exercise even though its killing my back, it's worth it for my body, wallet, and future harvest.1 point

Day 54 / Day 2 of Flower Plants are looking good, the lolipopping didn't seem to bother them much. I have put the clips and such back for some further LST to get them as I want through this stretch period.1 point

Have been testing Organics Matter's newly released living soil on this HSO Amherst Sour Diesel. She was transplanted into the soil just before flower. I'm genuinely impressed with this soil. Have not used a single drop of bottled nute on her. Gave her one watering with coconut water. Otherwise humic, fulvic and EM. She's 7 weeks through flower now Gonna be testing a few other strains in the same mix as well. Including a Royal Queen Seeds Chocolate Haze and a Delicious seeds Sugar Black Rose. Will keep you guys updated!1 point

How goes folks I harvested the A.S.D, Blue Kush and P.O #1 on the 23rd of November. 11 weeks into flower.(77 days). The P.O #2 and P.O #3 were harvested a few days later on day 81. Im assuming that this harvest was delayed by the intense heat we experience here over October and November. To be honest none of them looked 100% ready to harvest but the trich's told a different story so I worked according to that. The blue kush was a flop of note. Extremely airy bud but it actually tastes good and I could very well make BHO with it. I still managed to yield 68g's from it. The A.S.D and P.O #1 are now jarred. The A.S.D produced a total of 88g and the P.O #1 produced 77g which I'm really happy with for my 2nd organic grow. (zero feeding). The P.O #2 and #3 are still hanging up and will be jarred on the weekend. I think the P.O #3 (hydro) will yield more than the organic #1 but of course that doesn't conclude anything as they are not from the same seed, she does look decent though. The P.O #2 was a bit underwhelming and as you'll see in the pic, still looked largely unfinished. Here's some pics on the day of harvest. I had some better pics on my phone but unfortunately that got stolen... Dried bud pics to come! Amherst Sour Diesel Purple Orange CBD #1 - Organic. She actually to started push through some of her purple regardless of the sub 40 degree heat Purple Orange #2 Organic Purple Orange CBD #3 - hydro1 point

Most definitely. It's been a real mission doing both hydro and organic this run. Looking forward to putting all my focus on organic. I haven't been doing everything I've wanted with the organics that are finishing now so I look forward to getting a solid regime going in the future. I'm also gonna start feeding with biobizz bloom after about week 4 or 5 now.1 point

That sucks man, Im not a big cod fan, but do play occasionally. Battlefield fan and lately titanfall 2. Would be awesome to set up a gaming session where I don't have to mute the mic everytime I torch the bong. And of course speaking crap Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk1 point
