I did another spray tonight, although I mixed up a fresh batch from my Part A & Part B mixtures and I also added a wetting agent to help the solution stick to the plant. Still no sign of balls. I did a bit of a defoliation, mostly on the Indica's (Charlotte's Angel). Still no signs of flowering on the Charlottes Angel, only the Daiquari Lime. I'm hoping I didn't mess up the initial Part A & Part B solutions as I'd expect to have seen something on the Daiquari Lime as its showing pistils and etill likely start flowering soon too... Id love to get some pollen from both so I can cull the pollen donors as my veg room is getting very cramped. I have some LED light strips which I want to add to the veg room as currently light distribution isn't ideal due to the size and a Number of plants in the area... Not to mention height differences. Hi guys, Got a small indoor indica grow on the go. Plants are 1 month into flowering stage. I've been keeping an eye out for males, cause I started my grow with seeds from buds I found in product I bought. Here are some close ups of the ones I'm pretty sure are female... This one has me concerned, as I'm seeing pistils, and what looks like the beginnings of male flowers (little ball towards the bottom of pic): A 2nd pic from higher up a coala: Don't want a male or hermaphrodite damaging my little crop! Any advise/answers would be much appreciated. If it's a herm, could I separate it and keep it to harvest the seeds? Mr B1 point

Yea man... Let them grow! Just keep an open eye for males... And give them some food now and then... And when the time comes... Smoke the shit outa them1 point
-
I would give them some additional calmag due to the flush you gave them... And call it a day. If the new growth is good... Then you are good... Give it a few weeks and you won't even notice the older leaves anymore1 point

It should be fine man... The bend you showed us was a fold... Where the cambuim of the stem didn't look frayed or broken.. So just a fold.. Those take a few days to come right, but you shouldn't be experiencing any major wilt after the first day. It's possible that your repair work on the stem caused extra stress... But I'm not sure... Give it a few more days and we can take it from there1 point

But why is it mostly the bottom leaves then, not the top leaves which are newer and closer to the light?1 point

Looking nice and green bru. Excited to see how they'll flower out. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Same... After the chocolopes I'll be trying shorter veg times to see if that helps. I've got clones, so I should be growing all females for the next flower. Of course now that clones are taking I'm out of space in the clone box1 point

It's the media's sensationalist weapon... "dagga lab" "hydroponic dagga lab" and of course still using the word "dagga". It's all about the angle. The media is clearly targeting those who are strongly anti-drugs and anti-"dagga" to read their articles. They are the only one's who will read it... and us. If they say police raided a persons home and encountered a "cannabis garden" the effect of the story immediately diminishes. They've lost the reader and the advertisers lose out. A lot of people also think cannabis and dagga are 2 different things. They see cannabis as this breakthrough healing plant that they are hearing about on the news but they still see "dagga" as this drug that is ruining our youth. The media capitalizes on that. Also notice how the media will call it cannabis when its an article on medicine but as soon as its found in someone's home its called dagga again. Twats1 point

Thanks all - definitely Cal/mag issues. I though that using the Atami coco which is buffered, and FloraCoco which I presumed would be adjusted for Cal?mag in coco would be okay, but will dose them from now. Removed all dead leaves. Thanks1 point
-
Yea... Slap them with a good dose of calmag if you have... Or Epsom salts at the least... I wouldn't say so much a calcium def... More magnesium... That's the brown rust spots... Dead giveaway... Dose them and they will be right in no time... The damaged leaves will never heal or come right1 point
-
My outdoor showed similar progressive browning/necrosis from the centre of the leaf. Mine identified as a calcium deficiency, I treated it as such. With indoor could be ph related/lockout or just plain deficiency. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Sup yo what's the ph of your water? I noticed my plant did something similar they got dry and crispy like that when the ph was to low and it happened on the lower older leaves the new growth seemed fine all I did was up my ph to 6 and it stopped1 point

I've been eyeing out fabric grow bags but the prices at the local nurseries are insane. Turns out they are really easy and cheap to make yourself I'm using landscaping fabric / weed shield. The smallest roll I could get was 20m for ~R220. I'll be able to make many pots from that. Here are some detailed instructions, if you want to try it https://northernhomestead.com/sew-grow-bag/. My wife is doing the sewing so I've got very professional looking bags now The fabric bags are great for drainage, aeration and "air pruning". I'm going to move a few clones out of the kak plastic bags and into these to see how it goes.1 point

Update: So the plants bounced back after their short bout of medium issue. I plan to transplant next week, medium of choice will be organic matters.1 point
