Awesome, I'm getting ready to do a drop, been a bit busy, but wanted to do a "spring drop". Will most likely post a thread early in the week, time allowing. It will be outdoor as well as indoor strains to test out. Peace and buds2 points

Week 5 Flowering All good in the Hillbillybox hood, the Blueberry Kush has chilled with its stretch, the Chocolopes and the BLKush are starting to sugar up and some nice flavours perculating. Chocos have a nice aroma like fruit loops cereal and a bit spicey as well, very nice, the BLKush is smelling very fruity blueberry muffin with the small plant having that pink bubblegum smell to it, alongside the classic berry aromas. They have been getting some light feedings and I will be increasing the P and K a bit from now on. Blueberry Kush flower - The strectchy one Chocolope NL flower - Not in the comp but dank as hell2 points

Not quite the same type of charcoal. Get the type which is meant to be for human consumption. Go to a chemist / health shop. Activated charcoal. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Apparently after the close of the last Brits shop, this new one popped up with a new name? Tactics? BIL bought a R80 1g purchase. Still waiting for report.1 point

I would like to.. But the only 2 beans I got from them didn't sprout properly and died.. The seed husks were like... Stuck onto the leaves... They were freebie seeds and could have been older stock or whatever... But it did scare me away1 point

I watched the video as well, although I think I will be doing a defoliation when I get a chance - removing just the fan leaves and leaving the sugar leaves. If the fan leaf is really not in the way of bud sites, I will leave it. However if it may prevent airflow or stop light from penetrating better it will be removed - so probably just keep fan leave son the outside of the branches and plant. On another note, I got a cheap USB microscope a while ago to help me check my trichomes and did a quick check on the bagseed plant and its starting to turn cloudy. Really liking the microscope so far.1 point

Jip. All subject to what the setup is, but it's about best using the light that's available, and how far it penetrates.1 point

So I did a defoliation when I flipped to flower than akother around 2 weeks in and haven't touched it since. I may try remove some fan leaves to give a bit more light penetration though. Been toying with the idea, should I or shouldn't I. It's 1.2 x 0.6 and I think 1.7 tall. Not a big tent at all. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

So I've been wondering whether to do some defoliation or not, I don't wanna stunt the bud production but at the same time it's certainly affecting the light penetration. I have tried to physically move branches around and tuck leaves to assist with light penetration. As for the light spread, I run my lights very low to the canopy and I have them staggered. A lot lower than other grows I've seen, I have the luxury of having quite a few quantum boards in that small space. How much it affects the bud not having direct light under there I am not sure - buds are still growing and resin production still seems to be happening pretty well. Realistically, I don't think majority of people have direct light under every plant. I don't feel it's a problem, it's a small area and already I feel as if 380W in the area is overkill. I can increase it to 480w, actually 504w max, but feel its really not needed. Next flower grow I may turn the power down and see how it compares. Edit: I feel a scrog net would have increased light penetration and increased the efficiency in terms of using my tent space for flowering. Next time I flower I'd like to scrog if I can. Smoking gun seeds have sorted me out nicely... They are big Dutch passion supporters, but stock quite a bit of genetics1 point

Onward to frost and the flowering girls chilling after a spray down. Yesterday was the start of week 8. Almost ready! 1: AK. Its making a foxtail movement. - 2: Blue Dream 3: Blue Dream - 4: Strawberry Amnesia - 5: Bay11. What a fucker for PM this is. That dehumidifier can't come soon enough. - 6: Lemon Diesel - 7: Amnesia Haze 8: Amnesia Haze - 9: DC OG As soon as this harvest is ready I'll be getting that Dehumidifier. Just don't have kroon atm for that. Should make sure that the veg and flowering tent don't go too wild Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Yo, so veg tent first. All just chugging along. I'm excited for the current flowering girls to finish so that I can start the next round with veg period under the Gavita. I have my Vanilla Kush, Pineapple Dew, Jack Herer and OG Kush essentially ready for taking clones. So as soon as my current clones go into the Gavita tent the next clones will be going already. Then when those clones are ready my current mother clones will be of size to take new clones from. Perpetual is the motion that flows the ocean. I'm kak high. Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

LoL thanks bru[emoji16]I'm happy with how this round turned out. A few grows back I was really in a shitty place regarding my feels and I fucked up a whole grow. So looking at these girls I'm very happy. I can't believe the Lemon Diesel and AK are both around 1.3m tall and still standing Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Just a bit of frost coming your way. In order of appearance : Amnesia Haze Bay11 DC OG Blue Dream AK Lemon Diesel Strawberry Amnesia I'll be happy with having more than 450g dry this round. It's a good amount for just being soil[emoji3577] Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

indicas are getting fatter by the day sativas are slowly getting there...think they gonna flower a lot longer than the mobi dicks1 point

Alrighty then just a small lil update again nothing serious. The Lemon Diesel and AK are both tall enough to tickle my nipple, I'm honestly not that short. So just a few randoms of the veg tent also going on too My Amnesia Haze and Bay11 are the frostiest this round and I'm honestly surprised with the Bay11 not really knowing what to expect. Bud shots in order of appearance Bay11 Amnesia Haze Blue Dream DC OG The white marks on the leaves are from the previous milky spray Sent from my G3312 using Tapatalk1 point

Sounds like a good project @CreX , strangely enough the first drop I have ready for the forum is Mystery Sativas x KushCookies F2. Haven't seen too many pheno's yet but the moms were tall and sweet. If you have a very specific profile in mind it might be worth ordering some breeding stock to find a suitable dad.1 point

@CreX that sounds awesome, breeding Cannabis is really fun and really not that difficult. Biggest challenge is keeping pollen in the right area's so that the sensi can also get harvested! Awesome @highchome I was thinking to start dropping some testers after the comp. Stoked to see your guys interest! Feel free to drop questions start threads in the forum section. I am always learning and experimenting. The future for breeding Cannabis is surely a bright one, will hopefully contribute to those future seeds you want to breed.1 point
