Manne have dropped this thread? Its young population moving. My design team now live in Nova Scotia Canada. It looks to me like us ballies are happy to stay. Eating a bit of shit for progress is not a biggie for me. My kids live in Callie, so its ok. I have been to a few places in the world, and there is No copy of ZAR anywhere.... Sucks big time if you leave your culture behind, but if you are young, you will adapt. Me? I have a nice spot in the berg, lock my gates and shop when the looters have gone for a piss. My hornet is ready for Siener's future view - just in case the impis lose control of their last 2 brain cells again. I am happy to kick ass, but am happier to werksaam. Been doing it for 20 years here in the outback hills of the Berg and I have a few local clans we help and educate. But if anyone want to come fuck with buck, they will taste metal coz its natural law to protect your loved ones. (That includes my crops ) Going nowhere quickly for sure. As a Sefefrican - no place better than Home!!! ZAR has neva been for sissies! (Oh - and the Barret is on purchase standby if we really have to, defensively orientated that is) Julle ouens moet mooi bly daar in die stad.4 points

Choc Mint OG on the left, Aurora Kush on the right. Damn plants started flowering... So I added an outdoor light to trick them back into veg2 points

I watched the video as well, although I think I will be doing a defoliation when I get a chance - removing just the fan leaves and leaving the sugar leaves. If the fan leaf is really not in the way of bud sites, I will leave it. However if it may prevent airflow or stop light from penetrating better it will be removed - so probably just keep fan leave son the outside of the branches and plant. On another note, I got a cheap USB microscope a while ago to help me check my trichomes and did a quick check on the bagseed plant and its starting to turn cloudy. Really liking the microscope so far.2 points

I never used Propagators to sprout seeds untill I got one for clones. Worked fine without a progator so I don't think it's needed no but some peeps prefer the higher humidity but I don't think it's needed not in cape town atleast1 point

I love eazyplugs they work excellent for clones. I also plant straight into soil and get good results except lately when I used freedom Farm classic it's too strong for seedlings so I got some seedling mix. My next round I'm going to plant them into eazy Plugs and cover the plug with a thin layer of seedling mix as its difficult to get the holes closed without messing up the plug1 point

Just visualise it @Ill_Evan - you already emotionally there with that spliff in your hand! Lotsa space around here crying for users who love soil. I just reg'd a new site called "SolidEarth coza" so we can do educations for organic growing. Best DNA is driven by good salts in the soil along with the micro crews to mine them. Love the soil and it loves you right back with Health. Been doing it here a long time - so we gonna put some of our other organics out on the wires so folks in need can source them. It would really be a privilege to engineer some good compost as our base supply so to engender good veggie gardens out there. We have a 14 box worm farm running for 15 years now. About to convert it to a trench system so we can mine it for bagging grow kits. Once you are in the country, never again will you move1 point

Week 5 Flowering All good in the Hillbillybox hood, the Blueberry Kush has chilled with its stretch, the Chocolopes and the BLKush are starting to sugar up and some nice flavours perculating. Chocos have a nice aroma like fruit loops cereal and a bit spicey as well, very nice, the BLKush is smelling very fruity blueberry muffin with the small plant having that pink bubblegum smell to it, alongside the classic berry aromas. They have been getting some light feedings and I will be increasing the P and K a bit from now on. Blueberry Kush flower - The strectchy one Chocolope NL flower - Not in the comp but dank as hell1 point

Hi all, Since this will be my first grow and I plan on mostly growing outdoors (when the seasons allow) I didn’t really want to spend money on a tent. I decided to build a cabinet with stuff I had lying around. The only thing I bought for this build is the light. It’s not quite done, I still need to build the doors, seal the joints, paint, tidy wiring and install ducting (which I’ll also have to buy). Size: 1m x 1.4m x 1.7m Construction: Steel angle iron (repurposed shelving), 3mm Masonite (white one side, left overs from kitchen redo, that’s what’s on the back of your cupboards), Active exhaust (6” bathroom ceiling fan, my wife complained it’s too loud for the bathroom), passive inlet (for now, I’ll see what the temps do), 600w HID light (magnetic ballast, outside cabinet), I reinforced the roof with a few planks so it doubles as extra storage space. I built it in an outside store room, the room has a corrugated roof with a ceiling and it’s shaded by a big tree. It’s always a bit cooler in there than anywhere else on the property. Let me know if you have any suggestions. This wasn’t supposed to be a stealth build, I know it looks suspicious af.1 point

@PsyCLown Duuude! Judging from the amount of posts you have as well as how active you've been on this forum I would've never guessed your 1st grow started only a month ago! Going to join you soon my dude. All the best with your ladies.1 point

Sadly nothing with an official name, I Call her Aurora Kush She has a strong woody structure that holds its fat heavy dense nuggs all the way to the end, beautiful bud development sites and very pest resistant, 95% PM resistant I'd say Dark green leaves that shimmer blue, tends to make rediculously long petiole(iv seen 30cm before ) But what I don't like so much, is the smell of the bud... Very dirty dank smell.. Dirty dirty nothing like the fruity sweet that I'm going for.. So I'm looking to cross it with a male from a strain that is fruity and sweet, preferably sativa dominant strain1 point
