Almost 7 weeks of flower for this choco. Fat buds for such a small plant. Will probably have to start supporting the lower branches soon. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk2 points

Have a few fat ones today to celebrate the day Last year on this day, cannabis and cannabis cultivation was decriminalized for personal use in South Africa. A historic judgement for SA and worldwide cannabis culture as a whole. Yes, the process hasn't been perfect but I'm sure we can all say that we've been able to smoke and grow with a lot more peace of mind in our own homes.... as it should be. Look at how the industry has already grown in the last year. Businesses, brands and shows are popping out of everywhere. Some with good intentions, some not... Clubs and initiatives have started. Awareness has skyrocketed. As whole it has been a positive 1st year. Now parliament has a year left to decide on the best way forward for cannabis legislation. A nervy time as we let politicians decide our fate with the plant Negativity aside! Enjoy the day Side note... we really need a name for this day. "Dagga Day" doesn't work for me though although the word does have a lot of history with the plant in this country, it's a really kak word!!2 points

Beautiful!!! What a bounty man!! As it is your first grow... I must congratulate you man... Very good harvest So in the weeks to come, don't get discouraged that the bud shrinks to about 30%of the wet weight... You will have lots of great smoke so enjoy it man!!2 points

Hey all Found these quantum boards locally. They priced at R1200 each. They advertised as having Samsung LEDs. Anyone have experience with these QBs. If it's a good deal I can share supplier contact details. Thanks in advance.1 point

So here is the plant a day after supercropping and defoliation. As you can see the plant was given a HST moment but they recover quick. Here is the other one I did: This one also has no setbacks visually. Recovery time is quick and full recovery is in a few days. After a week she'll be growing again and by that time any part of the plant that was lagging behind should've had time to catch up. Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk1 point

I think it will depend on a few things. How big is the plant (pictures, measurements). What medium are they in, soil (if so, which?), coco, hydro? What nutrients do you have / are you planning on using?1 point

We would need to wait for the committee to decide on how it will work. There may not even be dispensaries. The only way you can legally sell in South Africa, AFAIK, is to have a license and then sell overseas to the companies buying it. A lot in Canada and China I believe. Even with the traditional healer license, I wouldn't risk it...1 point

There is a really good chance she'll start to reveg. According to AccuWeather Sunrise is 06:40 and sunset 18:37. So things are changing in the light cycle. Gonna be a beast if she starts to reveg. Monster Cropping..... Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk1 point

LOL No one seems to be interested in this, but for reference sake it is a cotton stainer, not good for plants. if it were a assassin bug it would be beneficial, as they hunt most pests, especially leaf hoppers & thrips. you see the shape of the cotton stainer's head & the red eyes? those are the indicators, whereas if it were an assassin bug it's head would be more similar shaped to below, & note its proboscis- moveable nose(poisonous & will bite humans):1 point

Yup, I figure since I'm germinating directly in soil, it must stay nice and moist. Let's see how it goes ;)1 point

Yip, unfortunately are on the money. Those are balls below the pistils. Shit happens to all of us. Chopped a large plant yesterday, it went into preflower, good pistil development and yesterday afternoon I noticed some balls. Didn't want to chance it with 4 other girls in various stages of flower. It's been slow going but as the temperature and daylight has increased, reveg is complete. She is dedicated to her vegetative state, and picking up speed. She is pushing a mass of branches.1 point

Day 8 Flowering - Week 2 The Chocolopes have been very well behaved and creating a beautiful canopy under the hps, I can't really say the same for the BlueberryKush's, they have been stretching and making their massive leaves to try and catch as much light as they can. I managed to snap a few branches of the BlueberryKush while training them this week, usually the worst time to train is when lights go on and when you have not watered in a while. Best time to train is after a watering in my opinion, but in this case the 2 snapped branches helped me tame the girls a little bit. They are trying to show off to the Choco's I think. Here are a few update pics, I will try take more closeup shots when I get some pompoms going. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, working on it. Peace and love stay green yall! Topview of the garden. The great divide, BlueberryK to the top, Chocos to the bottom. BlueberryKush's being bit overkill on those fan leaves, happy plants though.1 point

Spotting and yellow leaves could be magnesium def, especially of you finding it on the lower leaves. It's a mobile nutrient, so the new growth pulls it up from the older leaves if it's lacking or locked out in the medium. Reset with a flush and take it from there.1 point
