Today I'm going to show you what a plant looks like coming out of reveg and signs to look out for when the plant is reveging. Okay so shit!!! You planted a month or 2 early and now your beautiful outdoor have started budding. What a shit show! This time of year for outdoor is best for growing leaves and plant mass, so now what?? Now your plant is going to reveg and its going to be a whole process!! Your plant will at a point not even look like weed anymore! Your lovely 5 finger leaves will get less and less, the serrations on the leaves will become fewer. She will spit out single finger leaves and look really weird! But then... The weirdest shit happens, these leaves start curling and freaking out. This is your indication that she is now back in veg mode! All growth above the curled leaf will be normal again. After a few weeks from that point, it might be prudent to trim back heavily on the growth from before reveg. Take a look at this critical mass plant that has just come out of reveg. Keep an eye out for the 3 spoke and 1 spoke leaves, as well as the serrated edges that aren't as serrated as true veg growth. Also see the curls I have on the leaves and how the growth looks after the curls.3 points

So 20 days in. Of the 4 seeds, 3 each of Diesoline & Candy IV made it up. Only 1 of the Gardeners Delight surprisingly. But DG actually supplied 12 of each so I germinated 2 more in cotton wool. Things are looking good. I think I will take @PsyCLown advice and separate them out soon before the roots get too enmeshed.3 points

Hi my fellow South Africans. Greetings from Durban. Don't know any other serious growers. Looking forward to making new friends and sharing our genetics. Peace from the East2 points

I hear you man... I have some diaries that I think are awesome! But get little attention I like the comp side as it's much more active with updates and shit. But hit us up with some new ventures or strains you have!2 points

So I may decide to harvest this weekend, when I looked at the trichomes on Friday evening there was a fair bit of amber already... Soo, I will pick a few more seeds this weekend and then if they look good I will harvest her this weekend.2 points

Very nice, well next time maybe consider continuing with the updates on the forum! I somehow missed this thread, but it's really an awesome grow diary! People get busy and then miss a thread, if you do not continue with updates it's easy to never stumble upon it. At least that is the case with me. haha2 points

Week 9 Flowering The hilbilly box is starting to smell so good, the Choco's and BlueBerryKush's really busy pumping resin right now. Finally managed to take some better quality pictures of the beautiful ladies. On the feeding schedule I have still been giving more P and K and lowering the N a little bit more, already very little N going in, fertiliser wise. Buds are a bit small for my liking at this stage, but it is due to growing conditions , and of course, the grower (ME ) created them! This is not because of bad genetics. Happy growing yall. I got 5x Girls Scout Cookies fem & 5x Sherbet Cookies fem from Nirvana just before rediscovering this group and joining the chocolope growoff, so prob March. Chocolope is almost done so need to pop some seeds. 2 each.1 point

Kelpak is more for seedlings, its not a nutrient though but can help with root growth. Nitrisol for veg, you'll need something for flowering preferably. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

From what I can tell this is related to Tapatalk and an update is required regarding that. I'm gonna sort that out this evening, will let you know once that's done and then we'll see if you still experience the same issues.1 point

No, her... Only females make bud and only females will make seeds. Males only give you pollen, which then needs to get onto the females in order for seeds to be created. So I had 2x female autos, I then sprayed the one with STS which is a chemical which suppresses (stops) the production of ethylene which leads to the female plant growing pollen sacs (similar to a hermie, but not due to stress - it's due to the chemicals). Then take that pollen from the plant and use it on the other, untouched female plant, which is what you see above. I then killed the plant I had sprayed with STS, it becomes useless as I wouldn't use the bud as Sts is very toxic and I already have pollen and don't want the rest of my females to become pollinated. Once a plant has been pollinated, its focus becomes the seeds and not so much the bud and trichomes. So yield decreases and potency too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Let me kick this off with a picture of some trichomes, as you can see these are clear - far from being ready. If I recall properly, they were from my Daquari Lime auto plant a few weeks ago. Entry #1: Excuse the watermark, that is from the software I used on my phone to take the pic with my microscope.1 point

Well I have about 10 strains going atm namely Gorilla Girl, Sweet Orange Cookies, GSC, Wedding Cake, Granddaddy Confidential, Purple Diesel Daze, Mandarins Cookie Sherbet, White Widow, Grape Kush, Lemon OG and some 1to1 CBD strains. I got 2 x 3000W Flower rooms running on a flip flop system. I grow in coco and atm I'm using Floracoco nutes but I'm trying some powder blends on a few plants this run. All my strains are from feminised seeds. Going forward I only plan on buying regular seeds preferably F1's so that I have clean genetics to sift. Happy growing everyone. Looking forward to hearing what you guys are doing in your gardens1 point

Thanks @Bospatrollie2 and @CreX Going to check out heisenberg tea for sure! Agreed on the daunting nature of throwing anything biological directly into the res. I was already super wary of using the Firejuice directly in the res but in doing that I am more confident in testing out teas in the res. In fact, I've even replaced the clear tubing for my airstones to a thicker garden tubing used for outdoor sprinkler systems because just after 4 days the clear tubing was getting already a little manky and a little slimy. I'll mention it again in the bigger update I will make later in the week when I also take some pics again.1 point

No worries@Dank Learnt a long time ago that you can't fight mother nature. All we can do is provide the best conditions possible and let her do her thing. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Awe.... All 6 Giant Cookie Birds have broken the surface. But seems 1 or 2 are struggling, had to assist by manually removing their seed caps. Hoping for the best after some rain water. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Got some action above ground.[emoji3] So far 5 out 6 of the Kush Cookies have risen. They are still quite small. Gave them a light watering with rain water. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

SC could be a no-show. I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. Sorry - couldn't resist that one.1 point

Hey all, time for an update. Looks like it's just the 2x GSC, no sign from the SC. I'll give them another week, then try germ the remaining 3 SC seeds.1 point

So awesome @Bospatrollie2, looking forward to seeing your grow diary! The KushCookies is from 2018, might be a bit slow out the gates. They know their way around in the soil and should be aight. Super stoked to see this1 point

Awesome, looking good @Bospatrollie2 ! Good luck with the grow! Super stoked to see my genetics getting grown out! The GiantCookieBird beans are a bit fresher than the KushCookies, they are some of the hungriest plants I have had so far.1 point

Sounds cool @highchome, they might be quite small with no veg time, but will be interesting to see. Will follow along1 point

Howzit, I can second that mention of the ''heisenberg'' tea. Read up on that thread. Tea's are very beneficial indoors and outdoors. It's a bit daunting at first, but the more you learn about tea's, how to brew good ones and what bad/shit ones look and smell like. It happens to all of us.[emoji32]yuckk But that's how you learn. Now I brew every week without fail. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

It can be a bit daunting at first. But once you have sickly plants with sad soggy runny snotty roots.. And everything you try backfires or makes it worse.. Then when you try some tea... Your life will never be the same again Check out "heisenberg tea" I think on rollitup... But a Google search will sort you out. When you move from a sterile environment in your res, to a more organic vibe with microbes and fungi. You will love how easy hydro becomes.1 point

The grow bags I got from Takealot came today...they didn't specify the volume in liters but put sizes down as 30cm x 30cm x40cm... Height is 30cm so nice and low. In the pic is a 25l can that fits in there comfortably with space all round... Taking a wild gues that it could be close to a 40l bag with handles... Also got some Kelpak seaweed extract...need to get some more soil to fill these bags come transplant day Looking forward to the next grow!1 point

Evening. Many animals benefit from cannabis. Friend ours has a 17jr old Jack Russel that had arthritis and was in constant pain, made her some cannabutter. She gives her dog only a knife points worth every day and it made a huge difference. She seems without pain and can walk and run normally. Cheers. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Quick update on the Daq Lime auto. I took a look at a seed and it's practically ready, so I will most likely flush this weekend and then harvest in 2 weeks or so. The plant itself is looking decent and I am very impressed with the bud size for such a small plant.1 point

They look healthy and it doesn't seem as if the mulch layer bothered them a single bit. It probably helped with dropping the seed hat. It will surely keep the ladies cool with this warmer weather we are having Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk1 point

So since you asked soo nicely Mr Smelly, here are some pics! The two Charlottes Angels before defoliation (they had a serious defoliation around a week ago)... The leaves got burnt from the pyrol / neem spray I did as I could not do it at lights out: After defoliation: Some pics of the Daquari Lime, she is doing mighty fine. I took a seed from her the other day, certainly not ready. Now to try give you an idea on the size difference between the Charlottes Angel and the Daquari Lime... This is what happens when you get a photoperiod instead of an autoflower and you need to keep her vegging until you have space in your flower tent. I am underfeeding her and keep having to top and defoliate the charlottes angel to keep them in check.1 point

Damn its been too long since the last update My Gold Glue is starting to throw some great colours 7 weeks in Strawberry Nuggets Week 4 is here and she's finally showing pistils! Took off a couple leaves and started training her wide, also upped the nutrients this week, Gorilla Glue, 5 weeks in. She stunted badly as she started flowering and didn't stretch at all which was disappointing as i was hoping she'd be the biggest girl1 point
