  2. If there is a warranty I would first contact the shop you got it from. If no warranty, pop that sucker open and check the obvious; loose connections, obvious signs of damage, burn marks etc. Hopefully it's just a loose solder connection to that side of the board.

  4. You'd need to see how it's built. It could be that the board is divided into sections and each section has its own power supply, like the Nova led lights. Could be quite a few things though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  8. Could be just residue from the spray. Try foliar spray from the bottom side of the leaf and check new leaf growth for any discoloration as you go.

  9. Sweet. Thank you. I appreciate it. Pricing isn't bad either. But I have inquired into starting my own grow, land lord gave me permission as long as I leave no mess when I move in a few weeks. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

  10. Def the driver. It's pretty easy to fix, but requires either a 600mA or 900mA driver replacement, and you won't know what until you open it up.

  11. In my experience that is not really needed, as long as you use high quality carlton towel it should be fine - I only had it happen to me once when I was using lower quality towel and when I left the seed in for too long, but then I did cut around the paper towel and plant it with the seed. I use the Woolworths paper towel as it is bleach free and has a good strength and thickness to it, I have yet to have any taproot getting through the towel. I also use tweezers (angled ones actually) when removing the seed and taproot from the paper towel, makes life much easier.

  12. Yea, depending on your DIY skills and if you have a multimeter. I would send it back to the supplier if it is under warranty, they will repair it or exchange it hopefully.. If that's not an option.. Then open that bad boy up!! Maybe it is just a loose cable and then it's sorted... Can you take more pics? I can see something is wrong... But I need more pics. I doubt it's the actual LED panel... It's more likely a faulty driver in the unit... Each led panel could have its own driver like the nova lights. Let us know!!

  13. If it has a warranty then see if you can't get it swapped out, but chances are you won't have a light for a few days. If no warranty, then you'll need to investigate yourself most likely. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  14. Hi @Oolong83 , I am super noobish with LED's, just learning, hope to get some time in the future and try my hand at diy-ing one or two 50w lights. Is it possible to contact the manufacturer of the light, via email or phonecall, perhaps the shop u bought it at could be of assistance. Sure @CreX and other LED wizards will have some input as well. peace and buds bro goooodluck with it

  15. Jah I suppose it's a runt as the other plants all have the same light cycle... (basically the Sun). And they all stay in the same Sun spot throughout the day, i dont move them indoors at all.

  16. Oh man! So what soil do you use now? Or what's a better alternative that I should use?

  17. Hey guys, so im very excited about this lady. she was gifted to me by Highchome, thanks dude i will treat her well. So i got her in pure coco/perlite mix, re-potted into coco/perlite/soil mix into 20lt pot. did some lower branch training to maximize light penetration. The first pic was when i just got her, 2nd after all the adjustments. i put her into the sunlight on Saturday and she loved it. Back in the garage now with the other plants.

  18. I grew some Moringa saplings from seed in Oz, using the wet paper towel method in a Tupperware container. I would just take a pair of scissors and cut around the seed and root and plant the whole thing in some nice soil in a small flower pot. I'm thinking that would work here as well, to protect the tap root. ???

  21. Usually they take about 2 to 3 days to crack and tap roots to emerge. In cold weather they may take longer. I prefer keeping them in a covered sideplate so I can open and close to check. Keep an eye on them and be carefull when you remove them from the towel to transplant, as the roots are very fragile and many a good bean has been lost due to a broken tap root. You can plant them out as soon as the root is out of the shell, some people prefer to wait until it's 1cm long-your choice. While you wait for roots, prep your transplant stuff. Enjoy. 23. Good day @Bospatrollie2 Cheers for that. I sorta knew that the rectal discomfort was going to be on the right hand side of the meter, but you confirmed it. Lol. One must do what one must. I guess it will save me a bit on gym fees. Having read a bit elsewhere here, I've put 5 of the donated seeds in some wet paper towel in a ziplok bag. Any suggestions on how long to keep them in the bag ? TIA

  25. Good day fellow horticulturists 1-4. Some gratuitous bud shots for you[emoji3] 5. Our Swazi Gold lady picking up some weight. 6-7. Wanted to check the conditions in the greenhouse. Tried using the terarium thermometer....it went up 65deg C - I think it's broken. My trusty IR thermometer showed the real temps. 8. Seaweed FPJ brewing along nicely. White fungal colouration is supposed to be a good sign. But holy crap the smell, it's beyond stanky.[emoji43] 9. Moved our strawberries in as well, birds and monkeys are chowing everything. 26. @Dank the plan is for a Afghani male and Durban female, once I get the female I want I will search for a male for the Cbd lines, I usually do a male to female of a cross and then a female to male so (Afghani male x DP female) then a (DP male to a Afghani female) to get the variety but I have grown these strains out a few times and I know which of which I am looking for, I also want this particular line to be very DP dominant. Also I have the time to go through a few cuts as I am waiting for what's flowering at the moment to finish got maybe a month and a half left for the orange bud from Dutch passion and chocolate heaven from g13 labs and the rest has just started. So many seeds, so little time, so little space. Sent from my MAR-LX1M using Tapatalk

  29. Morning herbologists, What a surprise walking into this fragrant forest of ours in the mornings. Thought I'd share a bit. Please look past the spidermite damage as I have been waging war again, seem to winning as I found some bigger guns 1-4. Bubblegum ladies were a gift from a friend. Very sweet scent and hard buds albeit not very large. Different pheno's coming through if you look at leaf structure etc. 5&6. Indica bagseed lady with big dense colas. Sweet chem scent. Been having a helluva time keeping the mites off her. Luckily no signs of bud rot. 7&8. Sativa dominant Mango lady that received some late lst that turned her into a type of flat top. Easy for me to tend them as tall okes don't like bending too low. 9. Our forest of joys. Have a good one.

  30. So i repotted this girls sister from 5lt to 10lt. Getting her ready to head into budding section soon as the sister comes out. Ima try my second harvest in only 10lt pots instead of the 25lt. They grow too big for my current budding section. So hoping with the 10lt to have better control

  31. Day 120 / Day 68 of Flower (just over midway through week 9 of flower) These are not all 8 / 9 week strains. In fact none are considering none are ready. It seems as if the GSC and Chocolope will be taking longer to ripen, the CBD Critical Mass I am unsure of but has a hectic fade going already. I'd rather wait a bit longer as I want to make sure I get a decent amount of CBD from it. I will check the trichomes this Friday evening if I get a chance, otherwise on Saturday and hopefully I can at least chop one or two of the plants. I had a whoopsie last weekend where I bent the one branch on the Tropicana, so I decided to cut it and dry it. It's busy curing at the moment. A few pics of the ladies, not the best but at least you get an idea on how things are progressing.

  35. Let me kick this off with a picture of some trichomes, as you can see these are clear - far from being ready. If I recall properly, they were from my Daquari Lime auto plant a few weeks ago. Entry #1: Excuse the watermark, that is from the software I used on my phone to take the pic with my microscope.

  36. Yeah, what is with that? The red stems ive noticed is mostly on the fan leaves’ stems. No the last pics all super skunk kush. Here is an update, took these just now doesn't look that long to go still, right?

  37. I completely forgot about this thread, sorry. She is the the first of my indoor plants to show signs of budding. Will try to upload some better pics of whole plant, she is beautiful. All her clones took super easy and fast, i just cut and put them straight to soil, little over a week roots started showing.

  38. After deciding to get rid of my one bar light I ventured onto building my own. Material: U-Connect steel frame 25mm + corner angles cut to 1.2m a piece. 10 * 31mm UChannels cut to equal sizes (even though i didnt at times) 20 * Bridge lux eb series gen 2 strips (you can go for more efficient lm301b strips or other samsung strips, these were dirt ship 8$ a strip) their lengths are 1.1m, you can opt for different strips or smaller lengths. 2 * LRS drivers 350 Watts 36v (I plan to change to HLG at some point, to bring them in line with the other HLG 600's I run). 1 * 25m Thermal adhesive tape. Cost cant really remember as i needed a few things like tools, strips and power supplies + customs came to around 4k (free shipping) UChannels were cut, and sprayed with hi resistant heat spray paint (you don't have to do this, I did it for fun, and to try hide the horrible scratches on the channel, I have no noticed any reduction in thermal conductivity), connect it bars were setup into a square shape as depicted below. JB Weld was used to secure the channels to the frame, I tried pratley rubbish and it did not work, this was allowed to cure and set for 24-36 hours. The strips were laid with the double sided adhesive thermal tape After curing, frame was resprayed with the high heat spray paint, I was going to sand down the joints on the epoxy but i got lazy, I was also going to grind down the edges, but decided one day... (most likely never). A strip was run on the test bench. Strips were laid on the frame. Test run of strips Another test run In its new home, running at 150 watts per side, total of 300+- in all, potential running of 700 (true wall watts) I still need to get some 3.4mm bolts and securely hold strips to the channels as I got some dirt underneath a few and noticed the adhesive coming loose.
