Ive got the Midea 20L running inside my 1x1m tent. Only real down side to dehumidifiers is the heat they give off! I have mine set to keep a constant RH of 45%. The unit goes on for a few minutes every 15-20mins or so, drops rh to high 30s and then lets it raise up to 45+ before going on again. My temps fluctuate constantly because of this, 27-30C3 points

So the Tropicana weighed in at 52g dry. Also some pics of the Bruce Banner #3 buds, as you can see even the smaller buds have some nice colour on them. Excuse the shitty pics, poor lighting in the room. I put them into jars tonight with Boveda packs, will wait for the RH to stabilize before I weigh them. Still waiting for the GSC to mature so I can harvest. The Chocolope is still part of the grow, albeit I have a dedicated thread for that and seems as if it will take the longest to mature.3 points

Since the last time, I have moved them all outside due to lanky stretching and just poor growth over all. The wind is really making these plants bend lol!! Hoping to sex them and then plant them in bigger pots. I don't have time to point them out lol... The ones in pots2 points

Yeah I do really love growing. When it comes to spending money on myself... All of it goes into the garden. I'm really excited to meet fellow growers. For the most part I feel alone as a grower. My mates that grow learnt from the little I know and grow my genetics. My outdoor grow last season was hit by spidermites and mealie bugs in late flower. I usually practice good ipm management with my Biogrow products but that grow I didn't spray my plants because I woke up 1 morning to +-50 baby chameleons all over my 2 trees. Truly amazing site. By the time the chameleons all went their own way I couldn't spray as flower had kicked in. I'm running almost a week late on flipping my current grow into flower. I noticed some thrips damage a few days ago so decided on dealing with that 1st. I've sprayed them 2 times already. 1st with biopyrol and then bioneem 2 days later. My leaves have taken a bit of a beating due to how hard I sprayed them but they looking healthier today. I'm going to spray them 1 more time today and then hopefully flip tomorrow or else I will be harvesting Christmas week if I wait longer. But anyways guys I apologise for all the essays. I just have alot that has happened in my gardens that I haven't had anyone to tell. Thanks for listening.2 points

Hi everyone. Long time smoker (my wife actually gets irritated with me if I don't smoke) and have decided to start growing my own due to high prices on sub standard green. Have done a few outdoor grows and came across this forum looking for info on indoor micro grows. By the way it is awesome that we have a forum of this kind in SA. Anyway, looking forward to learning and growing some top shelf green. Cheers1 point

There are better dehumidifier available besides the midea that takeaway sell. In my set-up I rely on the heat created by the dehumidifier to increase my temperatures at lights out. This way my air con will switch on at lights OFF and keep the room dialed in. I just got to go thru my emails and find a quote for dehumidifiers I was sent recently. Their industrial duty unit was around 3500.1 point

Spliff 1, 2, 3.pdfI like the calmag from hydroponics.co.za in veg. It gets the plants green and lush very quickly. It did give me nitrogen toxicity in flower thou my 1st run with it. Now I stop using it around day 14. Yes hortimix needs to be diluted. The mkp is the most diluted part @ 125g/5ltrs. I dilute it even further from this initial dilution. I put my required amount into 20litre water and then add to reservoir. I think according to hortimix they recommend never exceeding 3ml or something per litre of Part C even when parts A and B are dosed at 13ml/ltr. I haven't used this Haifa spiff samples in flower yet but I'm pretty anxious to see how it does.1 point

Very nice... No perlite in that Just Cannabis soil? Curious to see the outcome, pitty they are not all clones though as I feel that may give a more accurate representation of how the soils compare. Regardless, still very cool and I want to see the results! haha1 point

Hit that follow to see how it goes! I have decided to not start any diaries until the beans have germinated... So here goes!! I put some jiffies on a plate and kept water in the plate to keep them moist. Popped 2 Banana grove, and 2 Girl Scout Cookies into the jiffies, no scuff, no paper towels, no presoak... 100% germination with tap water and jiffies All 4 were completely out of the jiffies this morning, but I didn't snap a Pic. This is from last night1 point

Cool doco there, @Ill_Evan. It brought back some fond memories of smoking vast quantities of Swazi Gold in December '83. We jumped into Linda's Kombi on a Friday afternoon and headed out of Joeys for Mbabane. The moment we crossed the border (along with hundreds of other fellow South Africans) there was good herb for sale. We watched Peter Tosh perform his Mama Africa concert Saturday afternoon/evening. Great music, great crowd. It's the only time I've ever seen a copper, in uniform, toking on a joint. Good times.....1 point

Def the driver. It's pretty easy to fix, but requires either a 600mA or 900mA driver replacement, and you won't know what until you open it up.1 point

Yea, depending on your DIY skills and if you have a multimeter. I would send it back to the supplier if it is under warranty, they will repair it or exchange it hopefully.. If that's not an option.. Then open that bad boy up!! Maybe it is just a loose cable and then it's sorted... Can you take more pics? I can see something is wrong... But I need more pics. I doubt it's the actual LED panel... It's more likely a faulty driver in the unit... Each led panel could have its own driver like the nova lights. Let us know!!1 point

If there is a warranty I would first contact the shop you got it from. If no warranty, pop that sucker open and check the obvious; loose connections, obvious signs of damage, burn marks etc. Hopefully it's just a loose solder connection to that side of the board.1 point
-
If it has a warranty then see if you can't get it swapped out, but chances are you won't have a light for a few days. If no warranty, then you'll need to investigate yourself most likely. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

Fuck... So heavy days... I let the res water drop a touch low and the roots went out the water... The whole plant is crispy and I had to call it... This diary if anything... Presented the opportunity for easy clone and cutting transportation... Even though I was a lazy bag of shit in the end0 points
