  1. Whats good 420SA fam! I am always trying to learn more about sustainable practices, whether its for growing my own veggies or Cannabis outdoors. After lurking around on the organic vs synthetic thread, I believe the only sustainable way forward is regenerative farming practices. I am guilty of buying a bottle of nutrients now and then, but the truth is, these products have a huge carbon footprint, even the "organic" ranges. Please share your thoughts and ideas about regenerative farming practices, if you are already busy with it, share some tips and tricks with us.

  2. I take a break twice a year, around June for two weeks, then the big one around this time of the year, normally only 21 days, but this time I'm going for the full month. Aaah, that first smoke after a break makes it all worth it. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  3. True words man. That soil still looks pretty compact... [emoji2369] It won't take spidermites long to make a home there. So clean and stay clean [emoji6]

  5. Heya peeps, Its time for my bi annual tolerance break... I'll log in occasionally for the next 30 days, but won't be nearly as active. Looking at all the awesome grows does not help the cause :) Also gives my fresh harvests time to dry and cure I'll respond to PM and comments directed at me... Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

  6. So, belive it or not this plant is almost 7 weeks old Igor was planted the same day as the other 3 plants and had the same soil (Culterra potting) and watering as the other seeds but damn...

  7. Gents... Strain: Wedding Cake S1 Breeder: Phenofinder Seeds Mutation: 4way branching at nodes. This plant sprouted and grew fine at 1st. After 1st topping that's when the mutation appeared. The plant itself has great structure and is one of the most vigorous plants I've grown to date. It has countless tops on thick stems. Has anyone experienced this mutation? Did the plant throw any nanners? Was quality compromised with the extra yield? This is my 1st time growing an S1 so I have no idea how stable they are especially when you throw a mutation in the mix. Btw only one mutation out of 5 pack. And for those that don't know S1 = Self-pollinated Peace

  8. Oh, not the same. My bad, will look into it. Hopefully the yield and bud will be great too! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  9. That is a polyploid mutation, I had it on my Bruce Banner which I recently harvested, although only on one branch. Apparently it is sought after, my BB was not self-pollinated though. I did notice that the bud from the Polyploid did not grow in the same manner and swell in the same way - other than that I did not really notice any cons. THe pros is that the bud is ab it bigger, but due to the shape as opposed to it just growing larger. Keep it, perhaps even clone it.

  10. Peace homes Good luck with the tolerance break, we gotta hook you up with some high THC bud when you're done! This makes me wonder, how often do you guys take a break from smoking and for how long on average?

  12. Woah, that is a long video. Will have to watch it when I have some time. I am not sure what Regenerative Farming Practices are exactly... Although I a going to guess it is a more natural way of doing things? Letting the microbes and soil and plants live in harmony together and provide for one another?

  13. Stop watering until it's dry until the second knuckle when pushing your forefinger into the soil. Over watering is a major problem amongst new growers. Remove as much of the bark content as possible as this is very acidic and strips the plant of the required Nitrogen. Keep your pot clean as the junk can attract unnecessary critters.

  14. Did you make the mix yourself? Is it only Coco and perlite? If so did you buffer and charge the Coco before use? If not, it may be in need of some Calmag albeit she is quite small and shouldn't really require much at this point

  15. @ all the members! we need to get more entries for this month otherwise we're going to lose this awesome compo! this is what i won last month in the mystery box: a sick little glow in the dark glass bong, a mini grinder, a sexy glass pipe all excellent quality! a bunch of rolling papers & a book of gerricks, some prerolled cones & some hemp blunt pre-rolls, humidity packs & 10 seeds(keen to check these), i believe they're part of an effort to work with SA landraces.

  16. Mighty Grape went into 60l pot with Just Cannabis Soil: Painkiller into the ground, filled hole with 60 odd liters of freshened up recycle soil. Royal Highness will be planted next to her in a week or two.

  18. So some dry weights in some plants harvested. The 90g dry from the Bruce Banner was really quite a surprise considering the size of the plant. The cbd critical mass needs to be weighed again as when removing the bud the scale reflected a -6g so it wasn't zero'd properly I suspect. On Friday I also decided to cut down the GSC, so she is busy drying. I suspect she will be of a low yield as she wasn't a very big plant. I'm now just waiting for the Chocolope to finish up and then I'll have harvested all 6 plants from my tent and can get true, final figures in terms of yield. 20. Some pitter-patter rain in the area has raised the general humidity quite nicely, sitting above 40% when it's usually at this time below 20%. Ladies look super good. Decided to top the little sister and begin LST on the big sister. An interesting difference between the two plants apart from their size are their own root developments. The little sister sprouted multiple root sites under the net pot where the bigger sister grew a stem from the one small root to the surface of the water and is the site for it's main root development.

  21. Pretty much... If it's a small pot, a put a bit extra good soil in the hole too... Packed with goodness for a baby Marijuana plant... Then that red sand takes over... I have needed to start feeding the big plants so that yellowing leaves doesn't happen. But yea... They just get dumped into the ground and love it

  25. Could be just residue from the spray. Try foliar spray from the bottom side of the leaf and check new leaf growth for any discoloration as you go.

  26. Sorry forgot to mention the problem, but yeah i referring to the spots. The only spray i used was a garlic based organic pest control.

  27. I agree with PsyCLown, that soil is very poor quality. But in the same breath... That little plant looks weird at the top... Like it's flowring already. What is it and do you have more seeds? Put it in the sun for a few days to see what happens

  28. I believe I see one of your problems... I got some cuttings in culterra soil and even with my regular feeding they were looking SUPER pale. Transplanted them into some Organics Matter soil and within 2 / 3 days they were already far darker! I purchased a bag of the cultera soil and gave it away, did not like it at all. As long as it is not an autoflower, there is still hope. I would recommend using a different soil, perhaps this little guy is more sensitive than the others.

  31. (I don't have permissions to change title) Thought I would share my experience here. I replanted some plants in the ground outside. Being a bit worried as I didn't have and steel trellises or wire frames I read up a bit on covering your plants with plastic bottles. This I did for all 4 plants. I found that the colour of the bottle has a HUGE role to play in this. The lighter of the two colours I used almost killed 3 out of 4 plants. Sent from my SM-G970F using Tapatalk
