  1. The GSC came in at 47g dry... The lowest yielding plant so far - still got the Chocolope... A quick summary of the dry weights so far. Bb - 90g Gdp - 70g Cbd critical mass - 67g Tropicana - 52g Gsc - 47g This brings me to a total of 326g dry so far and I am expecting at least 50g dry from the Chocolope, if so that'll bring me to around 370 - 380g dry from my tent and that leads to over 1g per watt at the max power I was giving the plants (360w) and I feel as if that was excessive and I could get away with less power. Had I grown 6x BB plants yield would be insane! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  2. Further updates! The Charlottes Angel surrogate is looking good, quite a tall plant due to the unplanned additional veg time. Kinda farked her up due to trying to keep her small - topped her too many times which I feel will negatively impact yield but that's alright for now. The Charlottes Angel next to my Chocolope plant which will be harvested later this week. The donor Charlottes Angel is also looking tall and finally some balls are starting to show!! Hopefully I'll have pollen by next week and then can cull the donor and put other plants into flower! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  4. @PsyCLown my reses are small enough that I just pop the cooler top open and shift the bottom enough to form a gap to pour in new res water. I have done two full grows with only changing the res at switch to flower, so when I do the full res change I just use a bucket the same height as my cooler boxes and pop the roots with some water in there with the cooler box lid suspended by the rim of the bucket. @CleanGreen initially I was max paranoid about root rot but I've found that as long as the res water doesn't go above 26C and there is no light leaks into the res you should be A ok the root system develops beneficial microbacteria by itself and too frequent res changes could actually hamper these bacteria from fighting off the bad bacteria that causes root rot. Just my experience, but one cannot prevent everything all the time

  5. Looks like the official number is 500kg. Such a perfect round number https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/hawks-nab-suspected-major-cannabis-supplier-in-sa-seize-r3m-worth-of-marijuana-20191111 Corruption runs super deep that's how this took so long to happen in the first place

  7. Topped them all last night and after looking a bit down, they back to their perky selves this morning... no real signs of shock. One of them is on 5th node and the others on 6th

  8. Looking good man, nice clean setup DWC is the way to go!... interested to see the scrog working out so early, my girls need some but not figured out a good way. Below clones are 40 days old, like you see space is tight and four more weeks and I HAVE to move them to the bigger flowering space.

  9. Planted on sept 25th and smaller ones early October-late oct We have topped some, lollipopped most and the big ones are receiving biogrow nutrients for the last week. Growing in about 20L pots at biggest and will be transplanting into 60 and then 300. We have good soil, we mixed it with :perlite, vermiculite, tyrbogrow rock dust, lime citric dust, mycoroot, bonemeal, kelp meal, peat moss. All from hydroponics.co.za anyways, yeah so most of them looking great, ran into some issues but most are all sorted out by now. Thick stems, havent determined sex btw. We plan to keep them in veg, until the end of Feb, letting them finish flower in april/may

  10. Hope you're enjoying those QBs, your tent looks nice and spacious now!

  11. 100% agree... the transplant might be tricky considering the size and shape of the existing pot coupled with the health of the plant.

  12. Or it could be one of the things fewer growers suffer from. He let it dry out too much and then fed it with Nutes. Usually you see damage similar to that like 3 days after.

  13. I agree with all the responses. That plant is really going to take a while to kick back from that. Something he has done caused this to happen quickly. You can see it was topped recently so which means it was healthy up to then. Either a nutrient feed or a pesticide spray. The next step is to flush out that plant and then just leave it alone. Those cheap takealot tds pens are perfect for this scenario. Measure what you putting in, measure what's coming out and you will know straight away what's the potential problem

  14. Check soil ph levels

  15. Evening, I am no expert but I'll venture my opinion. Need a bit more background for a better guess. What soil is that plant in? Any amendments to the soil? What nutes are being fed and how much? Looks like P or K excess with other possible lockouts, the roots are suffering as well. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  16. Nah that's not nute burn. I think it's more root issues. Might be wrong but I found the same issue on one of my ladies outdoor a couple of days after transplanting..... Definitely some sort of deficiency cause check the lower leafs. Yellow margin with inner green. Seems like a lockout cause that's Mg deficiency or a lockout Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

  19. Mendo Dope style hey... I love how clean and fresh your plants look. Although they do seem a tad small considering their age. Do you think maybe you either topped them too early or did you top them down to the last node purposely. Not questioning your methods after all we here to share and learn from each other. Like I've personally found if I want large plants I top a little later when they taller and then continue topping every time there's a branch leading the pack. If I want a big bushy plant that's not too tall then I top when the plant has atleast 6 nodes. But nevertheless I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out especially when the rapid vegetative growth kicks in after each of your planned transplants.

  20. Nice one. Be carefull to leave the pollen sac in the container. It will form mold..

  21. 300L are big but I want massive yields, 80og per plant type yields, certain plants might make it to 500L if their roots want it. Were growing indicas and sativas. We got sour diesel, super sativa, lemon haze, exodus cheese, passionfruit, amnesia, honesy banana, skittles, chronic and more. They recieve full day cycle sun. And in the last month or 2 of veg we will be putting a light on at night to ensure the plant maintains 18-6 light to extend veg.

  22. Hmm, so R6 per gram at the "500KG".... Certainly not what they were selling it for.

  24. @PsyCLown That is/was my issue... my veg plants I change easily and clean res once every two weeks. The flowering ones i do not change the res and clean it, i just leave it in place and use a hand pump to change nutes. I was paranoid about root rot but 2+ months you should get away with not cleaning it.

  25. @Ill_Evan have you given any thought as to how you will change your res and top up and such once the plant is twisted into the scrog net?

  27. @CleanGreen you know I'm about that DIY unfortunately I don't live by myself and my current allocated grow space is limited to just the one tent for now. It was a bit of a discussion just to have the space I do have but I am hoping that once this current grow is completed I can leverage some more space. Trust I'd have an Omega level grow room if it were completely up to me

  29. I've followed your grows since you started on the forum @CleanGreen always pushing your space's limits and once growing past your lights if anyone has learnt about space management it is you sir! I am hoping with the scrog I can avoid a miniature cannabis botanical garden (although it does sound kinda nice...) I'll be happy with another tent to do perpetual grows with one in veg and the other in flower, but alas, we must wait for that day

  30. Week 10 Euforia X2 on flush for harvest next week. Still pondering whether to dry or wet trim, perhaps a hybrid.

  31. Ah man, just can't catch a day now without doing something with the plants Growth is so rapid I have to check daily to tuck new growth under the scrog net to keep it nice and level. It will be super worth it when the whole scrog is filled nicely and evenly Bumped up the watts to 120W and keeping it just about 40cm above the canopy Also did a defoliation of the large fan leaves tonight

  32. I'll be doing that, along with giving you some for you jars. Thanks J!!!

  33. A very exciting update! With the aide of our very own @PsyCLown I was provided with a DIY quantum board kit consisting of two QB288's capable of 240W of light goodness. A shout out to @CreX who also assisted me in troubleshooting the setup when I ran into some initial issues with the driver. Here is how the new setup looks: Now for the plants. Just a quick photo update should suffice. Starting to fill up the scrog net consistently. Going to run the QB at 100W for now while I am still in veg and testing the setup.

  35. So some dry weights in some plants harvested. The 90g dry from the Bruce Banner was really quite a surprise considering the size of the plant. The cbd critical mass needs to be weighed again as when removing the bud the scale reflected a -6g so it wasn't zero'd properly I suspect. On Friday I also decided to cut down the GSC, so she is busy drying. I suspect she will be of a low yield as she wasn't a very big plant. I'm now just waiting for the Chocolope to finish up and then I'll have harvested all 6 plants from my tent and can get true, final figures in terms of yield. 36. So the Tropicana weighed in at 52g dry. Also some pics of the Bruce Banner #3 buds, as you can see even the smaller buds have some nice colour on them. Excuse the shitty pics, poor lighting in the room. I put them into jars tonight with Boveda packs, will wait for the RH to stabilize before I weigh them. Still waiting for the GSC to mature so I can harvest. The Chocolope is still part of the grow, albeit I have a dedicated thread for that and seems as if it will take the longest to mature.
