  3. I would rather even only do one plant in an area that small. 30cm is barely enough for one plant What is the other dimension? 1m high is sufficient 30cm across is minimal. If it's more than 60cm deep, then maybe 2 plants. Is there not another option you can go for? Maybe one of grow ops lights, and a small tent? It's gonna sound a bit critical, but you came here for advice and I'm gonna give it to you. I think you are setting yourself up for failure trying to grow in that small space. If you are trying growing for fun and as an experiment then I think you will be disappointed... If you are growing to move away from buying, or are growing because danky dank is expensive... Then you will be further disappointed brother. If your light budget is 2k, I would get a grow ops light and a small tent, 80x80 and set yourself up for greater success.

  4. I'm not too fussy on sativa/indica these days. I mean in reality how many strains are we really smoking these days that aren't just polyhyrids? Green Crack is often considered one of the most uplifting and energizing strains and yet it's still just a 60/40 hybrid. There's also too much phenotype variation to be able to straight up say sativa or indica (Unless one is smoking on full indicas / sativas or landraces). Personally though, I'll smoke whatever when ever. But I prefer growing Indicas for their fast flowering times and bud structure (not so much their WPM proneness though)

  5. Thanks bud. This is the stuff... https://ppplastics.co.za/product/bidim-non-woven-geotextiles These are long ass rolls though! 75m-150m! I do remember now that someone mentioned that you can only get this stuff in a huge quantity not really viable for home DIY use. Unless we organise a collective purchase on the forum and split it

  8. It is @SkunkPharm and @greenkush that have really nice DIY lights. Check their build threads. That's what I'm planning on doing. 350w of pure LED (samsung) goodness.

  9. Go for the growopz lights. I would only do 2 plants in that area. They get to big for that area. Especially if you grow in 20l pots. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

  11. You should test it with the maximum length of cable you going to use. Then set up another ballast with a short piece of cable to lamp. Then check response times between the 2 when switching off and on when the lamps have reached full temperature. If they both respond the same then you should be fine. It you had a tong tester it would have been good to check how many amps each of the 2 are drawing. If there is a noticeable difference, then it could mean that one is working harder due to the extra cable length.

  12. So our grow is busting out at the seams.... Summer outdoor growing season is in full swing. But with that comes issues... ''Had'' a problem with some green grasshoppers and caterpillars that started munching everything.... Pic 1-3. Had to move some of our Swazi girls outside as the were getting too tall and we want to see how big they get in the ground. Pic 4. Duo of Herbnation Cheese auto's. Pic 5-6. LST/HST experiment doing well so far. Pic 7. Swazi Lady doing her thing and getting big and bushy. Pic 8. Swazi clones were cut for possible future breeding. Got some Basil, tomatoes and Palermo chilli's going in my soil to test suitability. Seems good. Lekker. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  13. Yeah, looks like some pollen sacks. You can pick them out, but pay close attention to that plant every day. If it's between other flowering ladies you'll have to be carefull for obvious reasons. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  14. Hi hi I’m back and a little worried The past week has been blistering hot and the temperature has been around 27 to 32°C - Looking for advice on the images below which looks like a plant could have suffered from heat stress and hence producing these small pollen sacks or “bananas”...I think.... #google Should I cut them out if I see them to not ruin the entire grow Or am I just overthinking it and there’s nothing to worry about Thoughts? Thanks

  16. @Ill_Evan There no such thing as Indica gives me couch locked effect and sativa gives energy its all subjective. My same strain produced a harvest that i felt like made me lazy and my latest harvest is an energetic one.....same strain. Just like a wine, how its grown and at what latitude and altitude its all different factors.... my theory.
