  1. @Mambawana It kills powdery mildew any other unwanted pathogens and it also kills soft body bugs. In other words the place is sterilized, and no left over residue. Also if you have bad powdery mildew you can give your buds a quick wash in HP after harvest.

  2. Terpenes play less of a roll in that yucky couch lock feeling. CBN is the cannabinoid that is responsible for this. It is found mostly in mature/over mature bud. From google: Cannabinol (CBN) is considered a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid known for its powerful sedative properties. When THC is oxidized, the degradation process converts THC to CBN, which may account for the sedative effect aged cannabis often carries

  3. Why not use the full height of the cupboard from the get go?

  4. Left the grow alone to another friend for a week while I went galavanting at the coast. Came back to find some nice pre-flowering plants. pH was way out in the 4.0 range and some leaves around the canopy showed signs of burning and curling. Might have been a bit of light stress involved as well. Otherwise the resin production is ramping up. Could barely pick off a few fan leaves without getting my fingers sticky.

  5. Waddup good people Check out my steel cupboard, I've mostly used it for seed starting and I'm having a go with some clones now. (Clones are looking lank weird though) I still need to cut a hole in the side or top for extraction, so I just keep the doors slightly open at the moment. Pics 1&2 before I cleaned, sterilized, painted So I'm using a "burn blanket" to contain the light inside. It doesn't get hot at all as I've got some cheapy china town plant leds and a PC fan for some wind. The grow cupboard worked out pretty well, I'll do a grow report and show you guys how my 1st plant looks. Peace

  6. I feel that my cheapy leds are'nt sufficient enough to place at the bottom half of the cupboard and support the growth of the plants. So I kept the shelf in there so that the plants could be closer to the leds. I also mainly grow outdoors so the cupboard was meant for clones and seed starting.

  9. Yes, by the time you are looking at mostly amber on your bud, THC has already started oxidizing. Milky trichomes are THC at its peak. But harvesting while still clear is pointless. Cannabinoids are still in building block pieces Ie. Not quite THC yet. That causes a paranoia high. Kind of like taking a research chemical that is supposed to emulate LSD. You trip for sure but it's just not LSD, and the results are usually negative

  10. I believe the strain and whether it is an indica dominant / sativa dominant would affect the cannibinoid profile which is responsible for the effects. When you harvest can play a huge role as well, although as Totemic stated, that is to do with CBN.

  11. I did tell you to post a pic of your lights and maybe I could work something out for you with a ballast.

  12. Terpines and cannbinoids. Cannabis plants are genetically predisposed to develop both, but the profiles of each can be influenced to a degree by eviromental factors (medium, nutes, growstyle, light) I have found that terpine profiles become more complex if harvested later. We enjoy an interesting and enjoyable smooth smoke more than getting smacked with 10pounds of thc. Just my 10c Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  13. I would suggest only grow autos if you have no choice and can't grow photos due to light pollution issues, off season grow etc. Photos provide the dank more consistently, autos are mediocre for the most part. We are now still in the growing season so rock some photos. If you can afford to buy a pack now's the time... You will get your money back 100 fold in BUD

  14. So... yall know that sativa/indica really does not mean anything about what the strain is going to do right? Terpene profile is what makes a strain do whatever. Of memory recalls sativa/indica is nothing more than which hemisphere the strain originates from. When you harvest in conjunction with your terpene profile is what makes your bud energetic or lazy.

  15. It's good that it's working for you. Unfortunately I've had little success with it against any pests or pm.
