The outdoor sorbet is now (finally) properly in flower. she covers a space of about 1.5 x 1 meter. I have run out of space given that I have another plant next to her, so I am letting her go vertical now (although, ideally, I would keep tucking for a week or so more). The pesticide also seems to have worked.2 points

I battle in summer and suffer major contamination within a week after casing so dont even bother. I'll get going in may again.1 point

Sorry, at the end of bloom I fed Al plants the same so when I was on 0,8ec I left that water in a bucket and started flushing all the plants in my idiocy...... Then I realized after a week (other was harvested already) and gave then that 0,8 for the last 2 weeks so they had 0,8 then flush and then 0,8 again, very low nutes for about 3-4 weeks Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk1 point

I must say that in veg, the plants, even big ones, really don't chow that much and you can get away with practically nothing... But in bloom, especially the first few weeks... My word do they eat!! Root mass explodes, stem elongation, hormone changes... The plant goes through puberty and eats like a teenager who has never seen food before. But then after a few weeks feeding stabilizes and slows down a bit. So I like to add MPK boosters in early bloom and then again closer to the end of flower just incase.1 point

Cleared up all the riff raff below and in between so the sun can do its job a bit better. Looks like they almost in flower.... Getting impatient now lol!1 point

These boosters / ripeners all seem to just increase P and K which the plants do require more of when flowering... Although your bloom nutes generally do this anyways. I too have wondered about how much of a difference it makes, the plants can only take up so many nutes - giving too much would possibly stunt growth and lead to lockouts... With that being said, based on my experience it seems a bit difficult to do if feeding just MPK at reasonable EC levels. So I think if someone were to say use BioBizz Grow only ,which is generally a veg nute, throughout the plants life cycle then using a booster of some sorts would possibly help increase yield due to the extra P and K. If using some decent nutes and the plant is getting enough P and K during flower... Adding more I doubt will do anything. Hydro is an easy way to get an idea of what the plant is doing with the nutes as you are able to check the EC / PPM of the water easily. You can't tell which nutes are being used but can get an idea of how much nutes the plant is consuming. I know that @CreX has done this a few times and in veg the plants barely use any nutes. Not sure about flower, perhaps he can shed more light but the plants use a lot less nutes than we may think. The amount of nutes which get wasted is significant. Although in a coco or soil mediums, it differs a bit with regards to how much is available to the plants as they dry out.1 point

Most common fungi in the air. This time of year is worst time of year to try any sterile work. Temps need to be under 21...1 point

If you buy coco bricks there should not be any trich in there, it is meant to be inert so no food source for the trich anyways. If this is what I think it is for, then rather avoid the coco and go for grains. Trich colonizes very quickly and can spread like wildfire. If you have ever used trich before, you're going to struggle to get rid of it. Products like Explogrow contain trich as well.1 point

What a happy garden, well done... Strange how it works. My garden is bigger and badder then its ever been yet I too spend way less time in the garden then I use to. Then you just get those days where you just have to put in the hours. I'm starting to feel more confident about this blue cheese line with regards to uniformity. I'm still in veg and it doesn't mean much yet but all 3 of my blue cheese plants are exactly the same. The 3 triple cheese are all slightly different. How has the stretch been so far? Any smells been given off yet? Apparently it's a short to medium height strain. And btw thanks for sharing1 point

I tried to get back to work this week, so had less time with the ladies. When I first started growing it was all so exciting and almost everyday of my grow I would find something that needed doing. And it didn't matter what else I had to do - the grow came first. There is nothing so fun as learning to grow weed, and with each experience trying to do a little better (a story I would like to tell). These days, I am a little different though. I am happy to just watch them grow, as long as there is dank at the end (growing spoils you)...And there is something beautiful about an untameable carpet of weed. Speaking if which, here are the latest pics of blue cheese. this is day 18 (I think) since I flipped. Shit is getting interesting. First, both are girls and no sign of hemies (something I was worried about). They are clearly of the same phenotype, but one of the two plants is already more impressive (which is to be expected). but here is still a long way to go. I ran the nute solution a bit hot: 1300 ppm (although I need to calibrate the meter again). PPM in the autopot is 1330 so ill start topping off with water tomorrow. Although I haven't run into major problems I still haven't gotten the management of EC/PPM in an autopot down. I've built all my own hydro systems so I was bit of snob about autopots - but they are really easy, labour lite, and just work. Next time I use them, however, I want to drop an air curtain at the base to see if it does anything. The Chewdawg are putting on a bit of bulk now. The OG Kush less so. Will post pictures of them soon. On another note. Any suggestions for a a good pre-flowering pesticide for my outdoor game?1 point

Just who the Fork do these politicians think they represent? https://highalert.co.za/minister-vows-to-revoke-cannabis-licences/ I bet this 420sa community could do a prettier job in running this country, not as a political democracy - fuck that recipe, all it leads to is power crazy dudes sucking income and generation fokall. Stuff the Crown, Maritime law, colonial emancipation and all else that followed it. If we do not stand up as a people of this country and for basic rights and free cannabis, we will get a carrot shoved up our arses again and again. Fuck politics, never has it worked. Lets have rather a peoples sovereign company that get elected by the people to run Brand SA for profit. That means they get to manage the resources inside our borders for a profit, with which they pay each citizen a salary. If that is kak, they get fired and replaced by capable human beings. All one level, no royalty to piss our whiskey down the drain. Proud Rainbow Nation will then show the rest of the world who's Free. A republic of people for the people! Every person that has citizenship will become a millionaire, do the numbers, that is the easy part.... South Africa Pty Unlimited0 points

This is about an ideological change coming from US the people. Saying this multiparty democracy has never worked in any form or fashion in any developing country. If you want communism like the ANC does, its to suit the party central committee only. The people (workers) never benefit. Why have a central control that the people cannot control. Change it to a flat structure of working systems like any business has to in order to make its operations work and make a profit. Elect specialists to achieve results based outcomes. Managing this countries resources would easy make enough money ficus wise to make sure every person can get a salary to have a quality lifestyle. The numbers are not difficult to prove. Tax is unnecessary per say as you dont have to pay a million to an idiot. AKA self sustainable. And you don't get the shit spewed by this wanker quoted above - what ego trip he is on? Who works for who? Time for a thinking peoples control system to provide natural flow systems that offer a good life style to all. No one has ever stood on a box and said so. This land belongs to those born on it. Sovereignty is special. That is why the Kings of this world have always demanded a serfdom. So the subdued idiots can work and serve. How do you achieve that - you stress your subjects. Happening everywhere today. How is that working out for you?0 points
