  1. Things are getting stinky . One of the chemdawg plants looks like I will be able to start flushing it soon. The other organic plants look like they have another 2/3 weeks to go. Might try ripen if I hit the breeder dates (which is soon) and they still don't look close to done. In terms of the blue cheese, one of the plants (call her BC1) is eating considerably more than the other (BC2). although I haven't seen any signs of nutrient burn I am starting to worry that the nutes might be too strong for this plant (although the EC in the base of the autopot isn't rising and is usually close to that of the rez). While BC 1 is lush and green (maybe too green), BC 2 has shown a bit of yellowing (I wasn't too concerned about it, but I am starting to think something is not right). Buds are also far more impressive on BC1. the only other thing I can think of is that the ph of the pot is off. I also run a rez high in n until the second week, so its not that (although I drop significant come week 3/4)/ Anyway, like I said, its still not a problem but I am keeping an eye on it. Also worried about the thickness of the canopy sitting just under the canopy. On another note, this week I started giving them Atami Bloombastic. I am saying I think its makes a difference, but that might just be wishful thinking here are day 26 pics Below are BC 2 buds These below are BC 1 Below bc 1

  2. How difficult would it be to breed lady bugs? Would there possibly be a big enough market for them?

  3. What stage of growth are you in? Neem oil is a preventative and wont treat infestations. Pyrol will do that. The Margaret Roberts or Ludwigs spray will also do the trick but it stinks, rather spend a bit more on Pyrol. I used to stay in Table View and the builders warehouse there used to stock it. Not sure if it still does, nevertheless you wont struggle finding it in the cape

  4. You cannot purchase lady bugs in this country, I've been looking for many years. Just buy some spidex from koppert (https://www.koppert.com/spidex/), they're based in JHB but I'm sure you can find a retailer down there if you phone them up and ask.

  7. The outdoor sorbet is now (finally) properly in flower. she covers a space of about 1.5 x 1 meter. I have run out of space given that I have another plant next to her, so I am letting her go vertical now (although, ideally, I would keep tucking for a week or so more). The pesticide also seems to have worked.

  8. Had to feed and do my weekly grow room maintenance, so got some pictures of the OG Kush and Chedawg. hint of a small issue with one of the blue cheese, but it might just be the effect of topping off with water too early. Will resolve I suspect when I make new Rez. Back row, from right to left...OG Kush (clone of the plant on the extreme left) , Chemdawg, OG Kush, Chemdawg, OG Kush (2 plants are much earlier in their flowering cycle). Front row, blue cheese.. Below is a shot of the chemdawg colas from a few days ago

  13. Well done. I'm pretty sure they will recover soon and just show their gratitude. That pot they were in's soil didn't look all that good. I have the same pots and they have become quite expensive....

  15. Bru all you need is 2 pair of hands to catch that soil mass and 1 pair of hands to navigate etc. It's do-able.....but with great care. They need to be repotted anyway cause 2 in that small pot will just not do... At some point they need to be split anyway. Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

  16. Thnx for the reply. He's growing them in the normal Sandy soil we get allong the coast and as I understand he watered them with his bong water. At one stage I worked some of grow green's compost and potting soil into the garden and I think he took that soil.

  17. Well then I guess he just needs to let it dry out properly and take it from there. Hope it recovers Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

  18. Flushing it out will be good yeah but don't you think the soil is a bit to compact leaving it to be more wet causing more issues. What's the possibility of a repot at this stage??? Sent from my FIG-LX1 using Tapatalk

  20. Sup 420 family, hope everybody is gooving on a lekker vibe, blazing some good and most of all popping some beans yall So I have been using predator plants to control thrips, gnats and other burgs indoors. I'm not posting this as some cure all method, but itspretty natural. Heres the deal, predator plants are awesome, the venus flytrap is a well known one, but there are many kinds and some even specifically target gnats, flying insects, etc. Before you go out and buy a venus flytrap, these plants need a good life and specific needs met in order for them to thrive year after year. Their needs are not the same as cannabis in many ways so just keep an open mind. Im only learning about these plants and testing them indoors as well, after all the heat on the forum about these damn thrips, neem, etc, I thought its a good time to plug me and my girlfriend's best buds YouTube channel. This is a awesome video if you are interested in predator plants, tips on keeping em thriving.

  21. Not sure how the Nepenthis will react to a increased lightcycle in the veg box, seems to be loving it. Sundews have quite a few victims.
