  1. If I had to choose one of your top 5 jobs... It would definitely be the master grower part. I would love to have a cannabis coffee parlor, where I have a small room to grow a few plants... Nothing fancy and not my main grow... But just for people to view when they come grab a spliff or a coffee. I'd love to be a waiter in my own shop so I can tell the customers about each strain on the menu with their various intricacies. Actually I'd actually love a hydro store, with a coffee shop as the main attraction. That's my end goal

  2. Just finished harvesting Painkiller, lost a few lower buds to bud rot. Most of the brown in the picture below are small dead flowers and seed pods from a tree close by. After a quick wash

  3. Been getting a few job requests and noticed that there's a few canna recruitment agencies and apps starting up. So I did this blog about The Top 5 Cannabis Jobs in South Africa. It's based mostly on my personal experience and interactions. https://thehighco.co.za/top-5-cannabis-jobs-in-south-africa/ But I was wondering, what is your dream cannabis job?

  4. Currently working in a hydro store. It was the first opportunity that I came across that could get my foot into the door into the industry. Before working at the store I thought of working on a farm and doing medium to large commercial production somewhere in the world. Nowadays something small and personal like @CreX's idea sounds much nicer. Little spot with some plants and a vibe.

  5. @Mambawana Thanks for the advice, bru! I was considering milk.. but decided due to the weather not to go that way. Is very humid and I fear I battle suddenly bud mold too (even I would boil the milk before using it). I need a week of warm dry weather or I really see no way to get rid of a fungus. Friend down the road has bud mold and is fighting a rather loosing battle. CT weather is very very humid this season. 65% and cloudy as we speak.. little fungi must have a rave on those leafs right now might even rain a bit.. then the party should turn orgy. No answer from the Aquarium shop yet ^^ i have my hopes on the P Bicarb.. worked good in my few experiences. Serenade is the best of the best.. a fungi eating bacteria and dies off when there is no food anymore. Told a friend in Germany to send me a bottle... might take a bit to reach me, so more a nice to have bottle for the next case. Eskom just had us 3.5 hours down too... growing in SA keeps you on your toes.

  6. @Prom Greetings buddy. Have you tried spraying with a milk/water mix 50/50 ratio? Since I joined 420sa I've come across a few guys mention spraying milk to fight PM. I brushed it off cos I didn't see how it could work... up until about 2 weeks ago... a few of my more susceptible outdoor strains had some PM appear on them. I was kind of happy cos I got a chance to try the milk method. If it was to work I could adopt this method indoors if ever I have PM issues. Long story short... 2 sprays over 4 days has seemed to work better then I expected. The milk leaves a shiny residue on the leaves and seems to have kept the PM at bay. Today was really hot and now's its pouring with rain and is quite cool... I'm expecting to see some PM appear and I'm already mentally prepared to spray again. The part I love the most about the milk spray is it doesn't turn white pistils brown compared to spraying with things like bicarb, h2o2, etc.

  7. Anyone experience a plant with this 3point leaf configuration? Is this a mutation?

  9. Lol fucken worms... Moths are a real problem for me... So I had to put this up in my bathroom. Whoop now only little little moths can get in... Sheesh what a nightmare they were... I'd have like 100 of the fuckers in my bathroom, on my toothbrush, on my towels... In the shower... Everything everywhere it was nuts... And then the worms followed. Iv found the only way to get past this is a religiously thorough inspection of all the plants.... You need to become theee worm hunter 3000 to get them all haha

  10. I see that leaf quite a lot when plants reveg out of the flowering stages, never ran across a plant that only had 3 blades from seed, if so possibly a rarer phenotype of that strain. Plants that reveg will usually go from 1 blade, to 3 blades, and then starts producing full sets as the veg period is in full swing.

  14. Isn't CO2 heavier and therefore it would sink to the bottom of the pots / tent? In which case, I am not sure how much of a difference it will actually make? Combine this with air flow in the tent... New air would be brought into the tent constantly and leaving the tent constantly. I think to get benefits from CO2 one would need to seal the tent. I could be wrong though. The above is just my thoughts.

  15. Weed is like wine.. you store and cure it, it will improve in taste and smoke quality tremendously. Seriously, is like day and night. All weed I smoke, is at least 2 months cured. Those Bovida bags I bought once, 5 years ago... and use the same since. If a bag gets "grainy" from the crystallized salts, the bag(s) get their own vacuum container with a little cotton ball wet with water. When the bags are nice and elastic again, they go into the normal vacuum storage jar with the others and moisten out evenly over the next month till I use them again. So 5 years ago I invested something like 1000 Rand into bags and use them since.. 200 Rand a year, isn't really a wallet cruncher I blow 1000 Rand a month fertilizer into my plants.. is a huge waste not to cure that or you smoke your own nutrition's. Like good wine.. if you don't let it stand and ripe in perfect conditions, your 200$ bottle of wine is just vinegar in the beginning, after the right amount of time, you get a unbelievable smooth and tasty experience. Cure your weed! I think the drying and curing process is the most neglected tasks by most growers.. and has the biggest impact on your buds taste.
