  1. Leka leka brother, things are going beautifully in my opinion lol (I have zero grow experience) thankfully my building is in between two bigger buildings so my balcony only receives direct sunlight between 8am snd 12:30 which worked out perfectly since I'm using an 18/6 cycle for my autos, temps have gone up to a max of 31 degrees without any visible damage to the plant so I was thankful for that. I ran 2 strains, big bud and white widow from bulk seed bank and they havent given me much issues to be honest I will be starting a flush on the white widow starting from this sunday since I'm using the recommended 7 week flowering time. The big bud is in 7 day of flower today and she seems like she will be putting on quite the show in near future I ordered a 60x mini microscope which came in a nick of time before the lock down so I was able to get some shots of the trichomes(white widow) which seem like they are still clear and need more time, I am going for mostly cloudy with a few amber, maybe around 10% amber The grow cabinet is light and water proof and doesnt retain much heat as well I have 145 odd true watts from those Samsung strips running at 1050a and I'm not sure what this yield is going to be but fingers crossed.... 2. I am not liking what's going on with the Royal Gorilla. She isn't handling the rise in EC as well as the GDP. I believe she is suffering from an early onset of nitrogen toxicity which has developed into a minor case. I did a reservoir flush on both plants by first adding GHE FloraKleen to the reservoirs for 24hrs and then flushing and reseting them with new nutes and RO water. I have also dropped the EC on the Royal Gorilla. Sitting at an EC of 0,2 just until I feel it is ready again to rise the EC. GDP is sitting at an EC of 0.6 and is loving it. Plants should have enough growth by tomorrow or Sunday for the next topping and defoliation. Should also see a response from the Royal Gorilla in that time but I do not expect the current growth to recover. I will be mostly looking at the colour and speed of the new growth and then adapt from there. Once the old growth is defoliated at the time of topping the response should be a bit more clear.

  4. Welcome along to my back yard bucket grow. Please pull up a deck chair and park off here, a while. This lovely girl is a blueberry from Dutch Passion. She smells like a mix of blackberry jam and shortbread and should be ready in a couple of weeks time. This ugly ducling turned into a beauty. The seedlings were all deformed and took a long while to get going, the growth is spindly and she has to be supported as the branches will hang down like an octopus. I must veg her for 6 weeks and no stress is imperitive, otherwise she can herm easily. She's a pain to grow, but the high is worth the effort. Just opening the jar makes me grin. She has burned in the wind and hosted her fair share of mites, but is still putting on some decent weight. She's my kind of girl.

  5. Hid ftw bro. Nugs def seem tighter, and obviously well matured. ill stick with my 400w until I can justify the cost of a high-end led, however, at 10K... my indoor is for personal consumption. Cheers

  6. Dankie maijie Yes I do. I have modified the lids so that they easily and effortlessly pop off the top and just slide to the side without tipping or anything in order to check/adjust pH and such. I can remove the plant with the lid and it's roots entirely into another cooler box that I keep in order to do just this if need be. Only ever need to do this the few times I flush the res entirely. Not too much of a mission when they are bigger but definitely a big push to build the RDWC system the next run.

  7. @zairek i found that my results improved a lot. So i am happy with the switch. That being said, i cant afford those top range LEDs that would definitely give the same if not better results. The cheaper LEDs (1000w china makes) tend to get the job done, but they kak after 2-3grows and you need a couple for desired results. Speaking as a amateur grower, im sure some of the big boyz will disagree and will be able to get descent results from cheapmade LEDs, but im not that good yet. The first 2 pics is with LED, the other 3 is with HID.

  8. I decided to cut the first large fan leaves off tonight. They just looked so jutt. I believe I definitely pushed the EC on the seedlings a bit too high at first. The Royal Gorilla hasn't quite recovered as well as the GDP. I am getting slightly more stretch on the GDP, and some thick beefy joints on the Royal Gorilla. The manifold foundations are building up nicely, looking forward to the potential weight they will hold These leaves looked monstrous to me on such short plants. Otherwise, still on track to top at the end of the week.
