We'd like to get a voting group together that will help judge our SOTM winners going forward Right now it's basically just Psyclown and Myself so we thought it may be a better idea if we get together at least 5 regular members who would be willing to take part in an anonymous poll to help judge the winners for each month. Psyclown and myself will decide on the 10 nominees but you will help out with judging the ultimate winners, however many places there will be. That doesn't mean you won't be able to take part in future competitions. If you do take part you'll just be left out of the vote for that month If any of you guys are keen let us know. As I say, you need to be a regular member who visits the site relatively often and see yourself sticking around for the foreseeable future. You can either reply to this thread or send me a PM. Look forward to hearing from you.2 points

You might want to wait a little longer for some more root development. I did the same but I put rocks in die water last season. They take well to soil but more roots are needed.2 points

I start my clones in seedling trays with coco. The water method didnt work for me for some reason. My clones start rooting about 2 to 3 weeks in, but I think if yours look healthy and have roots they should grow. What medium they going into? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk2 points

Hahaha bro, this reminds me so much of my first DIY setup... She will serve you well. You just need to make sure no light gets in through the top or you might mess up your flowering cycle. Happy growing, and all the best!2 points

Wow beautiful, bar of gold, unfortunately of all kinds of fishing I do, fly is not one of them ... got a fly set up just gathering dust in the fishing room, I have caught many nice yellows only on bait though, i will fish any water fresh or salt , any tactic to catch some fishies, i have a huge arsenal of equipment for papgooi , match fishing ( feeder tip), specimen, bass , lures , Rock and surf .... it has been one of the biggest passions for me besides Mary Jane , in fact the 2 go hand in hand, my fishing sessions always include smoking a fat joint as the sun cracks the horizon, the peace, calmness and clarity is second to none for my soul1 point

Nice @Roasty Do you fly fish? What other species do you fish for? Caught this beautiful piece of indigenous gold early last month (safely released). Can't wait to get back on the water once the lockdown is over...hopefully1 point

have two of these running indoor at the moment. 15 days old and they are doing very well. Will share some pics as they go along and definitely take and keep some clones.1 point

@Rybud It's normal for plants to start gradually yellowing older leaves. It's good when it's controlled because it means you slowly depriving the plant of N. In your case the yellowing seems excessive. The plant looks hungry.1 point

Aweh@Bennie Thanks for the kind words, would love to get my hands on some BB beans one day. I use my own soil, have nothing against commercial or specialist craft soils - they have their place. I have a compost pile so prefer to build my own- self sustainability. As a base I use 2 or 3 different commercial ''potting soils'' but add my own sifted organic compost, perlite, coco and coarse river sand. Amendment wise, bonemeal, wood ash and composted kraal manure if I can get it. Coastal forest leaf mulch and multiple AACT innoculations. Then it cooks for 2 to 3 months, turning every 2 weeks or so - quite a lekker workout. Obviously this lockdown has made things a bit difficult so I have to make due with substitutes- a bit of experimentation and lots of learning going on. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

@Bospatrollie2your laddies are looking awesome. I have started growing in Cannabis craft soil compared to always in hydroponics. Do you use any special soil for your grows? The only additives for the craft soils is molasses and Epson salt. I have a Auto Monster Bruce Banner in the craft soil she is in 10 weeks from seed, pic below.1 point

So here goes my attempt... This is my previous grow, I have the link to the journal if anyone is interested in checking it out. Just a small home grow of some Blue Dream netting me 204g off a single tree in a 70cm sq tent. Included some Trichome shots taken just about 3 days before harvest. Enjoy1 point

Aweh 420SA. Been scoping this thread and thought I'd chime in with my 2c. Pardon the disjointedness and my French pls. I believe in the bigger scheme of life there is a price to pay, bigger for some and smaller for others. Economically some can weather this better than others. There are some really sad things happening all over. General. The thing that irks me is that there are some really ''special'' people who have no inkling of the concept of ''unity'' or ''community''. They languidly browse around in stores or stand in groups at the malls talking shit - justpossibly spreading this life threatening pathogen. The lockdown isn't lekker but its there to protect everyone, stay the fuck at home, you could infect others because you can't control yourself or your boredom. Hello....!!! Where is natural selection or karma, can I nominate those mofos pls. Work related. We are on the other side of the coin...the ugly side.... Our industry never stopped working, (blessing in disguise maybe) but the usual high stress environment has evolved into something else, it has become a monster of a thing. Stress, worry, fear, but we do the best we can under very trying circumstances. I can see it in my colleagues' faces after shift, the nervous laughs, the unfunny jokes, its awfull. Shit man, we have ''control measures'' coming out our ears, the shitty smell of IPA hanging in the air- too scared to light a smoke for fear of an explosion..hahaha.[emoji3]. Never want to see or smell sanitizer ever again in my life. Then there's this shit....Last week in an ops meet we discuss some concerning issues with the client, we were frankly told ''do you job, you are just service providers''.....cold hearted pos, never wanted to fuck someone up so bad. On the personal side. My children stay with my ex, being involved in a high risk industry it was decided that they shouldn't visit weekends or the holiday, to mitigate any infection risk. Whattsapp and phonecalls only go so far. Last week I sat outside the gate at their house and chatted to my sons through the bars like a convict, because I would not be able to forgive myself if I possibly infected them. I understand that sacrifices have to be made, we all have to make them, but it's Fuckedup and I don't have to like it. We all have our part to play with this common threat. I would've preferred to stay at home. David Attenborough is cool. Heres my version. Mankind with all its intelegence, refuses to learn from mother nature. As a species we must exist in equilibrium with our enviroment or we will become extinct. Have a good one and stay safe. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk1 point

Hi@Vanessa In the later stages of flowering the plant pushes a lot of nutrients into its buds. Even pulling nutes out of leaves and directing it into the buds as the plant finishes up. ''Yellowing'' is normal up to a point, there are certain ''abnormal'' conditions that may look or present similar like: ph fluctuations, root problems, N and S defs.
