Another week and she is going on really well. Been an absolute nightmare scanning her for nanners every morning, but all her new growth is healthy and normal. She is pushing pistils like crazy still...3 points

Hey everyone! My name is Wookiee, I'm smoking a bud, not too far far away. Not too long ago, I built a corner garden for my herbs. And after some time passed, some herbs were replaced by the nice green ones. Currently in the growth process is a Sour Grape strain. The little one on the left is an unkown strain, but it has a potent smell.. got too little sunlight for a long time, so my friend asked me to take it.. I have an outside light that was strong enough to keep the plant on a 24 hour day cycle, so it grew very well. I dimmed the light to switch over to flowering. The other stuff growing is Lemon Thyme on the left and some Bassil on the right with Parsly in the middle.. and a Sunnflower that my daughter broke in half and after saving it, dumbass slugs ate it. But with the light dimmed, I dont think it will grow anymore.. Behind the Sour Grape is Rosemary.. lol. But you wont see it anymore.2 points

Greetings 420 Fam! Decided to grow again due to being stuck at home so I thought I'd share what's going on with you guys. So I've been growing these 2 strains since about the last week of March. They are; Black Fire & Inzane in the Membrane, both by Ethos Genetics. I started the grow long before I became a member here so if you guys want to check it out, I have a link to the journal to catch up so far, and links to previous grows that you'll find in the grow reports as well. I'll try to update progress on here as often as I can. Anyway, I transplanted them into 5L smart pots for vegging on the 6th of April and watered them (no nutes) shortly after the transplant. The water was at 66 ppm with a pH ~6.25. They didn't seem to experience any obvious transplant shock and it's all going smoothly so far. These trees are 3 days into their 5th week of vegging (excl seedling stage - very 1st week) They've received 2 sets of toppings and growth from the 1st node was removed - I'm manifolding these trees also using some skewers and soft tie wire to train them flat. Each tree has about 8-12 main tops right now but it's a bit untidy - they're due for a defoliation later today. Feeding strengths have been around 500pm for early veg and I'm increasing it to around 700ppm for the next week of veg before flipping to 12/12. The Inzane (om the right) seems to be outgrowing her company but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, I can always prop one plant up if needed. Will run 2 of the same strains next time to use the space more effectively. The last picture is a few days older but it gives you a more clear view of how I used the skewers to train the trees. Questions and suggestions are welcomed. Enjoy!1 point

Greetings everyone. I'll keep this one relatively short. I have a 60cm x 60cm x 120cm DIY grow box that I want to setup for vegging to hopefully get a perpetual grow going. I can't buy a new light right now so I've put something together with what I had on hand (including a timer) These are the lights wattages; LED plate: 1 x ~48w actual (Chinese UFO Blurple) White LED bulbs: 2 x 9w Osram 6500k LED bulbs: 2 x ~28w actual (red+blue+white+UVA+IR) Do you think this would be enough to veg 2-4 trees for 5-6 weeks? I could also veg 2 trees and use the rest of the space for cloning or keeping a bonsai mother.1 point

Thanks man... Hopefully he comes along with some info. I've vegged and flowered a tree with just the led plate in the middle when I ran my microgrow. I haven't tried to use these older lights in a bigger box so I'm not too sure what to expect in terms of if they're going to give me leafy, stretched out growth. Haha, sometimes the best solutions are the easiest ones... I'm not too sure about the DWC boxes bro, maybe you could use like a half brick or 2 stacked up at each corner of the cooler. Doesn't need to be a brick, but that's the first thing that came to mind. Lol Lol, thanks man. I had to get a bit creative. The kebab sticks actually saved me because I couldn't find the thin tie wire I normally use for training, just that green soft tie. I find it doesn't hold the tree as firm as I'd like. I'm still trying to decide if I want to continue using them like that or go back to tying the tree to itself... Both work well. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

Oooooooh yeah one of my favorite strains! Never grown it myself but a growing buddy has and it was a very pleasant smoke. Very keen to follow the grow. ...oh my schit why didn't I think of this you've just given this bright spark an idea for my own grow. Currently have two plants with one being shorter than the other, didn't think of just raising the one...jissis. They are in DWC cooler boxes though, so I am going to need to find something that can support the weight I really like how you use those kebab sticks to form the initial manifold two ideas from one post. Imma subscribe to you, sir.1 point

On paper it seems like it would be powerful enough. Reminds me of @CreX's Frankenstein Nova build. I rate he would be able to tell you how far these lights will get you.1 point

Welcome. You pushing it late. Will be interesting to see the results. I have 2 still going outdoors that are finishing end of May to mid June, and that's cutting it close for CT winter already.1 point

Nah he is doing it right. Ideally the 1st of March flip would be the best before winter... But he Will still yeild almost indoor quality outdoor if the rain and hail play ball Welcome yo!!! Let's see how they turn out what are you feeding them?1 point

If anyone wants to catch up on how I got here, here's a link to a thread I started in which I documented the start of this grow as well. https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/ethos-genetics-grow-here-we-go.1569392/#post-25209148 It links to one of my journals on the site that documents the rest of the grow up to this point. You can drop any questions you have on the process here. I'll be updating them both so you can just catch up there and watch this space to see the progress. Thanks for the support. Happy Growing! Welcome to the forum! Nice man, so just recently flipped to flower basically? Aren't you scared cold fronts may kill the plants before they are mature and ready for harvest? Put your harvest around July sometime, roughly, if you've just flipped. They're looking good though!1 point

Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes we just tend to try everything with the notion that we might f it up by not doing something crucial, will definitely post on the changes by thursday evening. Sent from my SM-N970F using Tapatalk1 point

With the white widow, I ddnt see much amber when I harvested since I started the flush a little early, after the 48 hours of darkness there was definitely noticable amber trichs, I'm not 100% if it was the dark period that actually caused them to amber but I will monitor the big bud and post my findings after 48 hours, the big bud was showing about 5% amber when dark period began. At last managed to complete the harvest of this outdoor GKB lady. Spread it out over a couple of days based on trich colours as we tried to aim for the best flavour and potency. Wouldnt have been able to trim all her buds in one day anyway. Mother nature wasn't on our side either, rainy days, butterflies, worms and budrot. Fought them as best we could, but we paid a bit of tax. The buds were sticky with good resin produnction with a refreshing, spicy, herby scent. Will do a dry weight when they go to the jars. Update : big bud is enjoying absorbing all of the light in the grow cabinet, I have started seeing some amber trichs so have decided to start the flush and she should be coming down in a week or so buds smell like fresh guavas that makes my mouth salivate whenever I open the cabinet, cant wait to try these..... @CreX Thanks a ton man, really enjoyed all that info. Will go have a look see at those youtube videos just to get the idea of the vortex brewer concept, but it seems straight forward! When I got my brewer brewing I'll go back to your page with all the recipes, for sure!! Thanks again! @SkunkPharm Sweet, that price is actually not too bad, think I been looking at the wrong compressors! I'm assuming that little guy does not run quiet?1 point

Definitely is the most the rewarding plant to grow and has really sparked something, I am planning to grow some veggies at my mom's place as well....getting back to the good stuff, she was drying for 5 days until the smaller branches snapped instead bend and the buds had a crunchy feel, trimming was quite tedious but I was so excited to determine the yield of my first ever plant, she yielded a total of 99g of these frosty beautiful nugs, the buds are dense and firm to the touch and covered in trichs. The big bud should be coming down in a week or 2 depending on trichomes, I have decided to wait until I see some sort of amber before I start to flush I think I did a good job on the trim lol they look good to me.....I have kept all of the trim in a ziplock bag and left in the freezer, will collect trim from the other plant and process it into something, seem some kewl hash making videos on youtube so would like to experiment on that. Shot to all the guys for the advice and help during the grow [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106] Sent from my SM-N970F using Tapatalk1 point

Simple and clean. This kinda gives me that reason to buy the smaller grow tent. [emoji6] Just checked the driver price and it's close to R1000. What's the price on those strips??? Or a good place to check prices. I want to try it out but I also need to compare prices and do a budget before I can approach my "bank manager".1 point
