Have been giving this some thought, how about the prizes go to "best diaries", which the judges can deliberate over scrutinize plants etc, but in saying 420sa is looking for the best diary, gives the incentive for growers to be op it. BTW well done on the previous competitions guys, thought it was pretty cool regardless, and paving the way for SA CannaCulture4 points

Hello fellow cannalovers. As we are nearing the due date for the outcome from parliament, does anyone know what the current legislation is around sending bud via postnet? Not massive amount, figure probably around 50g or so. Can't seem to find anything online. Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk1 point

I'm quite certain it is not legal. It's one of those things they are supposed to let us know about like the legal weight limit per person and such at the end of this year.. I am kinda doubtful now about that with all the madness going on currently. I think marijuana legislation and regulation will take a back seat while they figure how to prevent the country collapsing. Now that's just from a national stand point. From a quick look at PostNet's terms of service, I have found this: Sauce So with PostNet specifically, they prohibit plant matter, which I can probably safely say cannabis falls under. Now..that isn't to say I've never received cannabis via PostNet..but I am not advocating you do anything risky or illegal..just saying..things happen..1 point

How much are you looking for? I still have some left over. I mix my own if you want to give it a go.1 point

Yeah, it's a survival mechanism. Light stress, pH, humidity are a few triggers. Or it's just in the genetic background already and dominant. Either way, I'd pull her. You are going to get seeds upon seeds and no bud. She will affect everyone else in at least a 30km radius.1 point

Only china was and is growing under these circumstances. Interestingly 5G seems quite central to this pandemic, especially considering the sanctions imposed against ZTE and huawei by the USA earlier last year. Interestingly huawei has and will win most 5g contracts globally. While usa simply have zilch. We are witnessing a shift in the balance of world economic power. Military and conventional warfare unfortunately don't help against cv19.1 point

Don't forget SA was in recession before cv19 hit. USA was in the midst of an intense trade war with China and the EU. Brexit was looming. France was in disarray. Cv19 is the death knell to the world's unsustainable system lead by war mongerers capable only of aggression towards the meek. Cv19 seems to have a penchant for the old and sickly, hardly gonna make a dent on the world's burgeoning youth population issues...1 point

@CG420za Good to see that you're still operating on the site. I havent had much time over the last few years to be active on the forums. I got myself a pair of LED's and damn am I impressed so far! It has the Meanwell Driver. I've always been an HID guy until electricity cost got to me eventually. aka SirSmokalot1 point

Don't think there is going back to square one.. the money they spend now and want to push into the economy, will result in taxes.. and we don't speak less. I do not believe that the virus is somehow engineered.. just evolution throwing a curve ball. Over all it is more or less harmless.. imagine it would go direction Anthrax or Ebola. I think Ebola is 50% death rate, the other one is 99% I think. From that perspective we got a nice warning shot.. friendly fits better. With the tundra defrosting, curious what will come out there after the hundred thousand years of ice time But that is just speculation hehehe what isn't speculation, the monetary system we run right now is starting to kill us. The concept of profit in a closed limited resource environment isn't working. We need to change our social system and get from the "i" to the "we"... otherwise.. don't think we will make it. First step.. get rid of all the politicians and military. The pawns never wanna start a war anyhow.. we only die in those.. others start them and make a huge profit out of our deaths. Is one of those points which make me scratch my head. Then we need people studied in the sector they occupy in Government. Not helping, if the Minister for Transport has a medical degree So mainly.. we need people with knowledge and not some cousin or relative, King or what ever douche bag friend he may be. SA is a good example. I am a guest to your country and I enjoy my stay very much. Love the people (not all, but most) and the general vibe in CT. I came here the first time in 2001 and live here since 2008, did the 6 months Europe, 6 months SA before and got sick of the flying.. so stayed in SA. Somebody else needs a chance to control this country, the ANC showed rather clear, isn't the solution. I would suggest to make a change and see if that ends as corrupt as the situation is now. But isn't like this is the only country where things are a bit out of hand. The world goes out of hand.. but I never saw anybody so patiently sit in the dark like you guys Take a European away his electricity and you see them on the streets protesting till the energy sector got confiscated and reorganized by the government. Here.. Government doesn't really seem to be interested in the well being of the economy.. we need electricity to keep things running. So for years and years this goes on. Not sure we want to wait till things collapse.. can't be in us pawns interest.. What will be the result of Corvid-19? We will pay.. like we always pay and somebody made a monstrous profit somewhere.1 point

Geez, no wonder! That is shocking that they're selling something like that. Not only is the alu absorbing the heat from the QB's but the led driver too if its attached to the alu. Unfortunately it seems people are going to these extremes to make extra profit as opposed to supplying a quality product. For a while I've been trying to see how I can make quantum boards more cost effective and have come across a few issues, I can't believe they're selling them just like that. Heat will reduce the lifespan of the LED's and the performance will deteriorate a lot quicker. So by the time you're on your 2nd or 3rd grow the LED's won't be as potent compared to when they were new. Migro did a nice video comparing some led lights after a few of usage I think or something like that to see how the diodes held up and what their output was like compared to when it was new. Like other growing lights, LED's do not last forever and they drop in strength as time goes on. So after 5 years it may still produce light but its not nearly as effective compared to a new light with fresh diodes. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk1 point

By the power of Jacob Zuma and a 'C' in 'Woodwork', and a tip picked up from @TheUltimateNoob's current grow diary, I built a square frame to rise the cooler box of the shorter plant to try get it closer to the height of it's partner. Didn't get it perfectly right, it's still a bit short, but much better than previously. Definitely going to keep to the same strain when growing two plants at once in the same tent in future. Switched to full on flower nutes now, preflowers are looking pretty. Still a while to go before full on flowers, but it's looking good.1 point
