  2. Sup Guys, how's the planing going for the next indoor growoff? Anything planned for the near future? I also support a buy-in idea with participants paying a fee to enter the competition and to be able to get the seeds for the comp. I personally found the forum thanks to the growoff poster that I saw on Facebook. Maybe we could do a competition between members on the forum more like a "forum only" growoff with the more experienced growers. Then we can do an open growoff for amateurs with some advertisement before hand to draw some more people to the forum if we want to grow the forum? But I guess then we still have the issue of them not posting or keeping their dairies updated. Maybe a minimum like R100 to enter the amateur competition with prices going to the best dairies with forum members voting. Let's say the top 5 dairies get 50% off to enter the next "forum only growoff" and completed dairies have the option to join the "forum only growoff". I don't think I saw any Solo cup challenge on the forum, maybe a solo cup growoff can be fun.

  3. @Naughty.Psychonaut oh yeah man! Great hear. I have about 100 plants in my collection. All of them Trichocereus and Lophophora. I've got a few crests and variegates. Lots of Pachanoi, quite a bit of Peruvianus and a few different Bridgesii. Would love to see some photos of your plants man! This is a graft of a variegated Pachanoi slab grafted onto a Peruvianus.

  4. Eish sorry about dem balls bro, it does happen in the KushCookies selection, sometime due to stress, sometimes just that herm gene popping out. The neighbor with the light situation could have added enough stress for her to herm. Best pop at least 10 beans next run, expect maybe 1 or 2 herms to get culled. Thanks for the update bro, appreciated, and best of luck with the next run!

  5. Maybe a silly question, but have you tried ducting tape? Its reflective like the mylar and sticks to anything like shit on a carpet.

  6. Thanks. She not going to finish so stellar though. Been having a rough time with her since early flower, and she took a few weeks of water and ph and nute burn poundings. Smoke is a smoke though.

  8. Another week, and she's starting to fill out all the space in her buds. About a month left. She is maturing bottom up, and foxtailing pretty evenly. Her terpene profile has also completely changed on me. Hardly any bubblegum, but citrus and chocolate.

  11. This took some steadiness, but it's so worth it [emoji1362] Entry No. 3 The #NoFilter shot of a leaf off the Inzane tree shortly after defoliation.

  12. @Kiteloop In your case just paint it white, many coats . A Matt white will have better reflectivity then the plastic which is glossy. Plan your intake an exhaust. Vent out an airbrick or something and take intake air from the garage. Add some braces in the dry wall so you can mount your circulation fan there for added floor space. Keep it simple but ensure it's light tight, very important. You gonna need space in the garage for a small reservoir and a shelf.

  14. You can get panda plastic from the grow shops. Light and reflective walls are not.the most important thing though it is the dark cycle that you should worry about.

  15. Update long overdue. As we all know plans don't always pan out with the plants, this lady was due for flowering a while ago but due to work and unforseen traveling she was not moved into flowering untill two weeks ago. Not totally a bad thing as she got a chance to finish off in winter with hopefully no males around. Repotted her into a make shift crate pot. She took off with the new space and was pushing bud sites all over. She was left out side to do her thing and due to lockdown the neighbor finally got to install his new floodlight for the back, and Bam that's my whole backyard lit up. A few late night braai's and they kept that light on through the night. I couldn't move the plant to the front because the street light is hella bright, no space in the garage and the Mrs just gave me the eye balls when I mentioned bringing her indoors. I finally made some space in the garage and then I saw those buggers, BALLS!! So the neighbor got a lesson in saving electricity especially at night when there is flowering girls around. Luckily I still have a few more seeds and going to pop them into water today. I will continue with this dairy with the new seedlings soon..

  16. So I finally harvested and trimmed the big bud( took me 8 hours to trim) and these buds look way better than that of the white widow, unfortunately some of the larger colas developed some bud rot and this was definitely due to the heavy rain we had last week but nevertheless it was only 2 of the large coals, I picked up the issue early enough to not let alot of bud go to waste, after noticing the rot I broke up the bigger colas, decided I rather have small buds than no buds. The buds are so so dense that they can break a window if thrown hard enough lol and covered with Crystals even more than the white widow. Believe it or not the yield came out at 240g after discarding the 2 massive colas that had rot, I purchased 3 950ml mason jars that wasnt enough for the yield. Pleased with the total yield of 340g using 144watts which gave me a yield of 2.36g/w. Buds have a strong fruity aroma and look pretty good. Sent from my SM-N970F using Tapatalk

  17. Another week, some progress. She is still pushing pistils like crazy...got to wonder when she is planning on finishing. She's practically only just past half way now. Have a snail infestation that is literally ringbarking this girl, so I made a copper collar around her base. Hopefully it'll keep those bastards I couldn't find away. I'll be hunting daily now for the next few weeks.

  18. Another week and she is going on really well. Been an absolute nightmare scanning her for nanners every morning, but all her new growth is healthy and normal. She is pushing pistils like crazy still...

  19. She is doing well so far. I've been able to cut down on my watering to once every 3 days, and she is recovering, with new growth healthy and overall colour and posture just happier.

  20. I had to make a decision as I simply cant water her twice or 3 times a day. She got too big for this pot in organics, and more damage is being caused because of the frequent watering, and pH issues. I will run her again in the ground or in coco, but she still has way too long to go, plus minus 6 weeks. This also is a good stress test. I doubt she will hermi from the transplant as her root ball wasn't damaged, but let's see. She displayed no transplant shock, and is already after 3 days looking much better. I wont be using this white pot again unless I bury it. I dont like the algae that it caused. Algae robs the roots of oxygen. And third day after transplant...her leaves already pulling up.

  21. Another week, and not much change really. Buds are bulking up slowly but surely. She isnt wasting a cm of her branching, there is a mass of flowers everywhere.
