My Nr2 I managed to clone and Root a Bud at 45 days flowering!4 points

Aweh gromies. Hope all are doing well, despite the absolute monumental bulls#$t, bollocks and f$ckenings happening in our world. Herewith... 1-2. Two of our Chocolope clones going golden with the colours of autumn. Was hoping for a bit more purple but doubt our min temps will do the job. Trichs are still a bit clear, have to wait another week or so. 3-4. Mango/Swazi mama that was revegged and is now flowering out. Rock hard pungent buds on this lady. 5-6. A petite Fruitpunch lady doing her thing, still a while to go for her. With all this lockdown shenanigans I managed at long last to get my hands on some organic food for the ladies. (All Sold out - awaiting stock) Suppliers recieved stock for the soil making. Got a decent sized(about 200lt)batch mixed up with added kraal manure, dosed generously with AACT and covered it up. Another 120lt of compost from our pile and we should be good. Our whole garden runs on this soil, from the sweet potatoes to the onions, chilli's and herbs. Starting an experiment with grenadillas in the greenhouse(where the vervets can't steal them) Brewed a kick ass alcoholic beverage from them before, going to replicate it with my own fruit. Cheers vir eers.3 points

Looks like aphids, they suck balls. Usually only occurs when bringing outside plants inside, they seldom ever find their way indoors. I've had moderate success with Margaret Roberts Organic Insecticide when I faced these little buggers when I dabbled with chillis, but prevention is always the winner. As @CreX says, difficult to treat on flowering plants as most remedies require full foliar spray, but if you are still vegging you can use pyrol as suggested or the organic pesticide linked below. https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/margaret-roberts-organic-insecticide/3 points

hi guys. I have buckets of straight Perlite that I grow Tomatoes Dutch Bucket style. Its end of season and want to clean the whole system. Can you use bleach to wash the entire load of Perlite?1 point

Anybody using one of these? I'm looking at getting one but see many advertised, mostly the same product, but price varies greatly. Can anyone recommend one?1 point

Going to give Pyrol a try, ordered some sticky traps as well. Thanks for all the advice Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Hi, a bit of an odd one and sort of cannabis related. I had a marigold plant that was outside that I brought into my tent. Recently when I was pruning it I found that it had some weird little yellowish pests. Needless to say I took it out and sprayed the tent with a neem oil solution. I am worried that my other two plants may have gotten affected but so far I fan not see anything on them. What I would like some help with is possibly identifying what they are and what DIY recommendations there are to get rid of them. Sorry the photos are not the best quality but they are so tiny. Kind of look like worms but they do have legs. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

I always have a different pack, all I can say is I don't like bleached paper. Bought a pack of those glass ones way back, didn't like it at all. Have you guys seen this the tips have little perforations for easy bending and making the perfect tip, the pack folds out into a work station with fold out sides with a pack of virgin paper. what more could you ask for!? I know RAW brought out a pack like this, but OCB had their pack on the shelves closest to me first so that's pretty cool!1 point

Still just vegging, actually a reveg. Looks like mostly the lower leaves have been affected. Thinking of just tossing this plant and cleaning out my tent Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Looks serious @Slartibarfast what stage is the plants at, if flowering how far into flower? Prevention is usually better than a cure, especially if plants have lost vigor from the pests.1 point

An update around concern for future grows in my tent. I have a chilli plant in my tent and am finding these tiny yellow pests in the flowers. I really want to leave my chilli plant in the tent. Any suggestions on some sort of fumigation that can be used in the tent with the plants in it still? I'm planning on starting 2 new grows soon and want to make sure the tent is pest free before that. Looked a bit closer on my cannabis plant and found some :( Used a microscope and I think they might be thrip. Does anyone have any suggestions with dealing with them in a grow tent? I'm thinking of just tossing the plants in the tent and fumigating it before I start my new grow. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk1 point

Decided to harvest her, she could have gone another week I imagine, but had a few PM spots on the bigger leaves. This particular cut is medical weed for a Glaucoma patient I know, so can't let the PM spread.1 point

I actually do not bro. It was imported and I can't remember what I paid... I think around 400 or so1 point

@CreX Yeah spot on. Im growing in a room in the garage so won't have a issue. Thanks for the Tip about the "Variable Resistor", going to look into that.1 point

@Ill_Evan Is it R1320.00 per a month or for the full grow?1 point
-
Gee I dont know hey. 40g is little. Fair for a single small plant no trianing... How many months did he wait? How many R1300 payments were made to get that 40g? 4 months worth? If I take those payments as my running costs of my tent, then over a 4 month period, I'm looking at between 400-500g I'm a heavy smoker. I need quality and quantity.1 point

So I came across this business again recently on accident. A customer I had brought me what was the end result of a 'Trial' package (R1320/mo, single plant cycle). Unfortunately he did not actually give me a sample of the weed, I can't blame him, the guy had waited close to 4 months for a bankie so I can understand the stinginess. I must admit, the delivered package which contained the produce was pretty damn stellar (wish I had taken a pic, but alas..) It most certainly gave the allure of a high-end product, and I am sure every customer would have been very proud to have received such a pretty box packed with boonj. Now for the weed itself. It 'looked' pretty good and frosty, although in my opinion a little on the uncured side. It also still smelt very green, but pleasant nonetheless. It was roughly 40g worth, so pretty good if what you are told to expect is 20-30+ (I guess this time he luckily got the +). Half-baked review I suppose. I would like to know if anyone here has since gotten a chance to actually smoke anything coming from these guys or at least know of anyone that is using the service and their thoughts. Coming on a year since they launched, I can only assume they haven't hit any 'major' legal issues or wishy-washy busts..yet.. I also see now you can choose a strain from a mother plant from another member instead of starting from scratch from seed must definitely help with avoiding dud seeds, rogue males or hermies, plus turnaround time is shortened.. although I'd swap that turnaround time for more yield/curing time.1 point

Haha, thanks bro... And all the best with your grow. Can I just ask, why do you keep them in the fridge? Is it not too cold for extended periods? I'm genuinely not sure so if you're doing it for a valid reason I may just change how I store mine. I just have them in a metal tin in a dark cupboard as a fool proof storage method. I'm planning to switch to flower in a day or 2. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

The completely clear rolling paper is known as glass wrap I believe. I have a few left after using 2 from a box a long time ago... They've been sitting in the cupboard for over a year now [emoji23][emoji23] I'm pretty sure the Silver Riz mentioned above are Rizla's Slim papers. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

Is that clear, almost plastic looking rizla? The one time I smoked some Durban Poison in some of that riz while visiting some mates in South Coast and it's probably the highest I've ever been from a joint. Got my hands on a couple slivers but couldn't ever get it right always been a pro roller with any other riz but that one defeated me in the moment. Will need to sit down and do it properly some time1 point

The RAW 12" paper has never let me down hey... Rolled and smoked about 5 or 6 to date. Its a slight mission if you're rolling it alone - I roll the 12" with the weed in it, not roll the cone and fill - but the paper burns even if you pack the joint right. If you've got someone to help you it's a lot easier - they can hold the paper box open in a 'V' to support the rest of the joint while you form and roll it. OCB is now my brand of choice... I used to love the RAW unbleached papers with the cross print on them, they burnt extremely well and hardly have a taste, but the quality became wildly inconsistent in my country as of the past year or so with the papers burning unevenly, glue unsticking and the odd tear when rolling just where the smoking tip is. OCB Slim (Black) & Super Slim (Blue) are what I look for in stores now. I've tried the new Rizla, but I still don't like it. It still has a bit of that signature taste of the older bleached pure white Rizla papers. The old Rizla is almost as thick as printing paper, lmao [emoji23] Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk1 point

When I'm smoking joints, I'm a silver Rizla kind of guy. I find that RAW and similar types add too much flavour and I prefer a more muted rolling paper.1 point

Can also sometimes find these 12 inch RAW papers on the odd occasion Usually any fancy tobacco stores in established malls, like those ones that have the full-on cigar rooms. They usually stock all the nice things. Problem is we gotta wait for the lockdown to get off the balls of the tobacco industry before they open again.1 point

need to invest in this so I can make some baseball bats lol ,where to find?1 point

I get so pissed off with mates when they do this.1 point

Yup agreed Raw unrefined , it makes a proper king sized joints1 point
-
I've always been a fan of RAW, not super common though. Usually have to go to a specific tobacco shop to find them, and not every shop has them. Would be great if they replaced that kak king rizla at petrol stations with these. Alternative to RAW would be OCB. Biggest pro with either are the garrick papers that come with the rizla so you don't have to tear up the actual packaging.1 point
