  2. Damn boooii, would it be too much to ask if you can store my seeds for me too hahah I'm just kidding brother, yeah with seed storage you have to remember it's not a peice of plastic, it's organic biological matter, obviously it's gona loose viability, even if stored "correctly". Maybe you did have some cup winner seeds laying around!

  4. I would love to cover my house in solar panels and harness as much energy from the sun as possible, we will get there, but for now I will be making the best of the endless free energy coming from the skies by growing out some weed!! I have always been popping seeds in the ground just trying to get some bud, grew many bag seeds only harvested a couple plants I thought worth my time and effort. These days I wont pop a seed if I don't atleast have high hopes, keeping in mind where the mother grew. I know these days, with the legal thing happening, outdoor gets poillinated more than before so this all will probably change. Untill it does I will probably still be trying my luck with the high hopes and besides that I am lucky enough to sometimes have some special seeds fly my way! This is what's happening in the garden right now, two ladies from my buddies special seed bank. Not really a seed bank, but he likes to grow and always have some real interesting things going on! Last two photos is a different plant from the first few photos. I tend to spend almost no energy or nutes or anything on these girls. If I see from an early stage some promising signs I would maybe care a little more, but they just doing what they do, stinking up the place.

  5. Greetings 420 Fam! Decided to grow again due to being stuck at home so I thought I'd share what's going on with you guys. So I've been growing these 2 strains since about the last week of March. They are; Black Fire & Inzane in the Membrane, both by Ethos Genetics. I started the grow long before I became a member here so if you guys want to check it out, I have a link to the journal to catch up so far, and links to previous grows that you'll find in the grow reports as well. I'll try to update progress on here as often as I can. Anyway, I transplanted them into 5L smart pots for vegging on the 6th of April and watered them (no nutes) shortly after the transplant. The water was at 66 ppm with a pH ~6.25. They didn't seem to experience any obvious transplant shock and it's all going smoothly so far. These trees are 3 days into their 5th week of vegging (excl seedling stage - very 1st week) They've received 2 sets of toppings and growth from the 1st node was removed - I'm manifolding these trees also using some skewers and soft tie wire to train them flat. Each tree has about 8-12 main tops right now but it's a bit untidy - they're due for a defoliation later today. Feeding strengths have been around 500pm for early veg and I'm increasing it to around 700ppm for the next week of veg before flipping to 12/12. The Inzane (om the right) seems to be outgrowing her company but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, I can always prop one plant up if needed. Will run 2 of the same strains next time to use the space more effectively. The last picture is a few days older but it gives you a more clear view of how I used the skewers to train the trees. Questions and suggestions are welcomed. Enjoy!

  6. I reached 976g on 1m2 indoor grow area... and lost my bet But I am rather sure I will reach the 1kg dry on 1m2 area.. lets try again Also might want to add... zero training techs used.. I topped one, which was on her own mission and 2 stayed rather short but rest formed a rather nice and even canape them self. I only removed leaves the plants were giving up and didn't disturb them in any way possible.

  10. The buds - The one - 36g The other one - 67g I live near the ocean and all the sand is white beach sand with just enough minerals to feed the indiginous flora really and a few other real prolific plants, such as cannabis. I have a bedding that's composted about 30cm deep and I've added about 5 or 6 layers of compost over the last 2 years or so. Just to keep the garden alive really, have grown these two plants with no other ferts than whats in the compost and just water from the hose. They turned a bit yellow and then one day the leaves started to die back, there was nothing I could have done to save them, or well the one more so than the other, but I chopped both. They smell fucking amazing, almost sour fruity kinda smells, hard to describe they still curing and it's still changing. Anyway, this grow is done! Wish I could've pushed the flowers a little more! Will fertilize the soil a bit better and pop few more seed when the time is right.

  11. Not too shabby man - iv just read through this thread to make sure i didnt miss anything along the way that led to your last update. Everything looked solid, but now in this last update the plants are droopy. i couldnt quite make out how often you feeding your ladies? you said you mix 4 different ph levels to balance the feed. but not sure if its 4 times a day or 4 times a week or less. the droopy leaves indicate one or both of the following - over watering or a problem with your root zone. have you just watered or taken pics during lights off? or have you noticed any issues?

  12. Aaand here the Ethos Strains are; Inzane on the left I gave them another defoliation a couple of hours ago and I'll flip them soon. Just waiting for the to-be clones grow out a bit more. Hopefully it doesn't get too crowded once flower is in full swing. The first 2 pictures are the before shots, last 2 are the afters.

  13. They sure do. I got a jar filled with all kinds of seeds from custard apple tree seeds to evening primrose seeds and there are a shit load of cannabis seeds in there too. When I pop those I usually get about 85-100% success, so I don't have any problem storing them in a cupboard. Mine are in the dark, cool, airtight sealed with rice, but they're "bag seed" so not always the best grows and I usually just pop them to keep myself entertained and harvest when I get a nice flower! What is that you growing there?

  14. Please can someone tell my why my plants leaves are drooping like that. It has been like that since veg, some of the lower leaves started making light green stains and then yellow but the droopy ones just carry on.

  15. Thanks for the help@CreX . This is my first time trying to grow and I didn't spend much on quality products. I knew the soil was going to be a problem, I just wanted to know exactly whats the exact problem so that I'll know next time.

  16. I don't see people spending that much money on a tray just to roll on, especially not with the current exchange rate. Rather just buy a tray locally. I do not know of anyone who uses a tray either.

  17. That soil does not look good, when last did you give them water? What nutes are you using and how much are you giving them etc?

  18. To me the biggest advantage of LED is that it reduces the shadow profile a lot. Light is not just more efficient generated, but also more even distributed. Next is the heat.. the more you compare, the more points you will find that a 40 year old technology isn't up to date anymore. You not just waste more energy into running the lamp, but also put more into cooling the heat down again. Light efficiency is how much heat you produce as a side product. Less heat.. more light gets generated with the same energy input. We reach cold light.. only fertilizer will make the difference I also have to add that I do not think that I would have got the result with a Dutch Auto seed. We did now way over 100 autos as a group of growers and the picture is very clear. The US boys are miles ahead with their auto genes, Dutchies have something to catch up right now. I did around 30-40 Dutch Autos.. and the worst result of all I had with Dutch Passion.. small little suckers. I had 9, friend 4.. he lost patience with three and just pulled them.. waste of time for the grow speed they had. I have 3 Angels and 6 Blackberry.. beautiful plants to look at.. yield wise I will be happy if I get 50g a plant.. with the CBD I will make jumps if I reach that rather sad result. I do not think I am a better grower compared to you @Master_G .. Those Brucies are very heavy yielders, I ordered the seeds for that reason. And just to mention.. if you reach 1.3g per watt on Fems.. you do something I never reached.. never.. ever

  20. My 2c says there are more of proven guidelines for any kind of storage for anything... Be it seeds or art or books. If you want to preserve it best, you need an environment that is not conducive to molds and bacteria slowly gnawing away at your precious shit. So to do that, you need a cool environment with very low humidity. Keep it out of sunlight... And that's the only light you need to be concerned about... Doubt you're going to store your seeds under your lights either... But a fridge/room/garage light is not going to affect your seeds in the slightest. So the closest to this would be a fridge in one's home. Valid point brought up by @Naughty.Psychonaut condensation is a problem in a fridge, so storing them in the draw in the fridge is the better option than the fridge door or top shelf. Also rice and silica gel absorb moisture in the air/container which will drop the humidity right down. If I'm not mistaken, seed banks keep their seeds at 5°C and 5%RH

  22. I also store most of my seeds in the fridge, I use silica gel beads to absorb any possible excess moisture. Storing seeds properly will help increase their shelf life. You want them stored in a dry space, hence the silica or I get rice. Don't want it to get moldy or to pop pre-maturely and preferably away from light too. The fridge I have mine in doesn't have a light, I also barely open it. My more expensive seeds are stored in the fridge currently. I'm able to do it, so I do it. 27. LSD standing at 30cm tall in week 10. Growth has been slow this past week as I have been battling with a deficiency/lockout issue, though i seem to be winning the battle. The Gelato at 4.5 weeks is just under 15cm tall with no training. Not expecting much of a yield from this one but to be honest I am quite happy she isn't a space hog.

  28. Nice, so you are kind of in the same boat as me, just I am on my first grow. Also still learning a lot. I popped a bubba kush and bubbleberry. The Bubba Kush is taking a little longer but finally stuck its head out yesterday. The Bubbleberry already did on Tuesday I think. Looked a little weak, but I let it dry a bit as it was wet from the germination bit, and its starting to look good. I already transplanted it to a small pot. The other I have yet to transplant. Then last night I decided to pop one more, Original Orange Bud, an auto. Straight in a 20l pot, no jiffy pellet. So lets see. Been trying to get the environment ironed out this week. Will update my other post just now about that and the changes.

  29. What's up everyone; so I've managed to put together another quick but informative update.I haven't changed anything with my methods, just did regular maintenance and fed the trees when I needed to.I did, however, change the nutes to flower ratio to help kick start the transition week - I plan to flip to 12/12 in a day or 2.I will include respectively named pictures so you guys can see how they've progressed. The first picture is just for the thumbnail on tapatalk - no filter shots for days. The summary of what's happened since the 6th is as follows;7th May - did some more lst and trained the canopy flat again8th May - watched them bounce back10th May - they filled out quite nicely12th May - more lst to train the canopy selective defoliation13th May (no pics for this date) - defoliation for airflow and light penetration (the last 2 pictures were taken on the 15th - I moved the Inzane to the left of the tent)They're looking good. I feel like they're ready for flower but I'll let them get a bit taller first. I also want to take some clones to I'll let the side branches get some length also.So yeah that's where we're at right now. Here's another defoliation video; Enjoy.

  30. Thanks my dudes, this is my first proper (still to upgrade everything anyway) indoor setup and only my 3rd grow in it, still learning more than anything else. Actually made a few rookie mistakes with this grow that made me feel like an idiot, but I really do appreciate the compliments! I love a variety, although I've smoked a bud before and said that I wouldn't mind if all the weed I ever smoked was that bud, but I'm sure even if that was true it would become tasteless and boring after a while. @Live Canna what seeds did you pop?

  31. I believe Formula 1 is coco and perlite, I'd say use 5.9 to 6.3 as your oh range rather. Once again, you don't have to but I'd let the plant veg for a big longer and get a bit bigger in 20l pots before I flip. The size of the plants affect your yield as well. I like to grow my plants out a bit more and then lollipop them, helps with airflow below the canopy and if you're watering my hand makes it a bit easier too as there is a bit of space between to get your watering can in there and not wet the leaves. 32. Are they in Coco or soil and what nutes are you giving them? Do you PH your feed each time before feeding? What sized pots are those? I am assuming not 20L pots if you're talking about repotting. I personally would let them get a bit bigger before flipping, upto you though Nothing wrong with flipping now either.

  33. Oooooooh yeah one of my favorite strains! Never grown it myself but a growing buddy has and it was a very pleasant smoke. Very keen to follow the grow. ...oh my schit why didn't I think of this you've just given this bright spark an idea for my own grow. Currently have two plants with one being shorter than the other, didn't think of just raising the one...jissis. They are in DWC cooler boxes though, so I am going to need to find something that can support the weight I really like how you use those kebab sticks to form the initial manifold two ideas from one post. Imma subscribe to you, sir.
