  4. Greetings everyone, I have been a voyeur of this site for a while. I started growing indoors last year and slowly learning along the way. I like trying things people say you can'y or shouldn't do; so for my FIRST ever attempt at cloning I took a branch from my Auto amnesia haze from Fastbuds that was not receiving light. All i used was saliva as my cloning gel( I read somewhere that the enzymes of saliva softens the stem) Its been almost 3 weeks and she is doing well and better than I expected.

  5. Good evening @CoolJ unfortunately I should have said PE, and thought that might have been confusing, but had hit post already. Sorry I cant assist and would have gladly donated you a Nirvana GSC.

  6. Welcome to the forum, myself just joining. I've not heard of this clone place either, and hopefully you stay close to Stellenbosch, as with this lockdown it cant be easy to pass road blocks with clones. My plan was to perpetual grow, and just cant afford the light I wanted to get right now for that, so have a few (40 odd) clones looking for new homes in the Bay area.

  7. I saw them on a Facebook group and others seem to be happy. They are based in Stellenbosch but the guy is willing to meet me closer so I don't pay delivery fees. I ordered 1x Ethos Crescendo, 1 x Peyote Cookies and 1 x Ethose Glueberry OG They had a special on certain strains for R150 each.

  9. The Cummins is rated at 242kw and 827nm at the flywheel. Yeah bikes are dangerous but oh so fun. And that sound of the power band of a 300 is so addictive but gets me in trouble almost every time.

  10. Just finished repotting the special queen 1 and the badazz og cheese. The cheese is a bit small but thats ok. I first wet the soil with the amendments included and then continued with the repotting. Luckily no major hick ups so Im happy. My water tanks are collecting rain water but the water inside smells weird, would this cause issues with the plants as I want to water this entire grow with rain water.

  11. Aweh@SAgrower Depends on what you planting. Photoperiods. The potting up strategy is to promote a strong rootball early on as@Prom mentioned. But also serves to assist growers not to over water their seedlings. (think big pot, must add plenty water, seedling struggles and possibly dies.) Autoflowers Usually are planted into their final pots to avoid repotting stress, which has an impact on veg time and overall final size/yield. If you manhandle any plant during repotting, you can lose 2weeks veg time. I currently use a 2x pot system in soil. Germ in paper towel or straight to tray, transplant to 10cm seedling pot/tray, on 1st 2 real leaves they go to final pots 20-30lit. I grow outdoor on the east coast- plenty bugs and have lost too many seedlings to vegetarian critters, prefer to plant them out when they a little bigger. Cheers Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  12. Na, no real need for fems.. you can easy go one more pot, if that makes it easier for you.. if you don't mind, put directly in the last size. Just keep them warm

  13. I also do the 350ml foam cup method, as seedling gets bigger it drinks more and it might dry out abit quicker. That living soil holds water nice also. I punch alot of small holes at bottom side of cup and underneath to hopefully promote a little root pruning and get my root ball going earli on, you can go 2+weeks in the cup. Did you get the amendments also for the soil? Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk

  14. Rule of thumb is that the roots follow the leaves. When your leaves reach the side of the pot, is time for a new home.

  16. Had a little 97 civic vtec with bolt ons. Not the fastest car but so much fun to drive and really responds well to abuse. Other toy was a 2016 KTM 300, cant beat the smell of 2 stroke. Sadly have stopped riding due to a bum sholder. I am currently busy with a project at work, putting a 5.9l Cummins ISB engine in a 2005 Ford F250.

  17. As of yet, I've only flowered with half the light and just added the second last week or so. Have got around 80 - 120 a plant with the one light in a cupboard of 1.5x0.6m in size and 8 plants in there...lol. was my first proper grow after 1 sort of half arse grow before with no ph checking and got locked out, learnt lots since then. Thank you for the kind words again.

  18. How's It and good evening, you have certainly got a lot more knowledge and understanding about caring for your girls and don't make basic errors like putting plants on a cold floor and over watering. I just saw that picture of the poor droopy girl and offered my experience, because the environment is the most obvious thing to question first. Get the roots happy, don't drown them and most of these problems and lock outs will cure themselves. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-healthy-roots-for-healthy-cannabis-plants-n343 Cold temperatures can also shock plants causing wilting and slowed growth. Maintaining comfortable 22°C in the root zone will make your plants grow with no undesired side effects of temperature fluctuations. https://www.cannabisculture.com/content/2002/08/02/2565/When the air temperature remains at 72 degrees and the root zone is cool, which often happens when containers are placed on a cold floor, the roots do not work as efficiently as they do at a higher temperature. Conversely, cool air temperatures can be ameliorated using warm RZT. https://hightimes.com/grow/nicos-nuggets-temperature-plants/ Root zone temperatures are equally important as chemical reactions happen at a faster rate in optimal temperatures. These reactions are the mineral uptake from the nutrients we give plants for use in photosynthesis. The better and faster these reactions occur, the quicker and more abundant food the plant will have. The ideal root zone temp for cannabis plants is around 75°F and should always be about 5 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature. https://www.maximumyield.com/is-root-zone-heating-really-necessary-part-one-the-basics/2/922 They go from being flooded after watering to dry between waterings and from cold at night to warm in the day—the living soil is constantly trying to adapt to this ever-changing environment and so the plant roots do not function as efficiently as they could. If root zone environments are maintained consistently in the comfort zone, however, plants actually become more photosynthetically efficient—using all the energy they produce to focus on efficient growth and reproduction. As the plants use energy more efficiently, they begin to process nutrients better and they use light and water more efficiently as well, with less 'stretching.' In short, the plants can now utilize resources at the level of their needs, not in excess to overcompensate for stress.

  19. I grew some NLAuto from RQS on 24/0 a while back, was in a 20l container and plant was over 1m when I chopped her. Didn't have al the wattage on her so maybe she stretched a bit, but super healthy and lekker smoke. 24hr cycle will be hundreds

  20. Roughly the 8 week mark, and she is just cruising to the finish. Only just starting to see a spot or so of PM and removing the leaves as I see them, but otherwise in perfect health. She will go on to harvest by mid to end June I reckon. She is maturing bottom up, with bottom buds starting to swell.
