  1. Got mah seeds ordered 29th June, received today 3rd May. From Cape Town to Joburg. Not bad. Freebies included some much desired Nirvana branded rizla and 2x Jock Horror Fem seeds.

  2. How many people competing you think they get? Might be a great solution to stock yourself up. ^^ If you put for 50k prices out and have 2kg weed send to you you made a killer income.. and lets face it, people send you their best Might be a great idea.. stop growing and just organize a Cannabis Cup each year to stock up again

  3. They impressed me with their service... Have just grown one that smells just like you cracked a packet of Maynard's Jelly Babies, the yellow packet, wish I knew what strain it was lol.

  4. If all entrants submit 12g, methinks that's quite a bit of indoor weed to be smoked.

  5. I have been lurking in the r/rosin of reddit and learnt this tek there in bits and pieces but this video I found sums it up pretty much. You basically want to give a heat treatment and then let it sit on a warm surface for a few days and then you should start to see crystals growing. I've seen some huge ones grown in sauce.

  6. I can learn from you to be more relaxed regarding pests I have PM in my indoor setup and is driving me rather insane. BUT Tracker for the Serenade says is for delivery tomorrow. The ultrasonic mister ready and cleaned.. tomorrow I unleash my horde of PM eating mutated killer bacteria will fog the whole flat and tents plus ducts.

  7. I don't have the time for that hehe... And my plants are deeply intrenched in a scrog so I wouldn't be as thorough as I would need to be... So I will stick to pyrol and try irradicate them from my veg area... They used to be the bane of my existence... But now they are just a pain that iv added to my collection of aches

  8. Would suggest this one https://www.marijuanaseeds.co.za/gelato-feminized.html but just saw, hasn't really the punch of the 42fastbuds auto Gelato.. which is set to 26% But my main suggestion would be.. go sniff with the American boys. I love GSC.. but is just very old school now. Leave the Dutchies and swim over the pond and have a look.. till now my journey was very pleasant.

  9. The Blue Dream from marijuannaseeds was awesome... Really nice euphoria with a background mind buzz the entire time, less than heavy body stone for the duration as well... Some of the best smelling buds I've taken a whiff of, just after 3 weeks of curing. The tent was also super sweet smelling in flower. I hit a proper full bong of this stuff and it had me uncomfortably high for like 30 minutes, lmao... Afterwards it faded into a high I was familiar with and was quite relaxing and long lasting. I got the Ethos Genetics Inzane from trophyseeds, still in flower right now My cousin got the Northern Lights from sangomaseeds, he said it was quite pleasant with a smooth smoke. From his description I don't think the high was worth the hype. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  11. Thats a score brother, fine selection too there... Damn, I should have opened my sealed pack, didnt know they send seeds inside free too and they have really been outstanding and blessed me with 5 free Fem Master Kush. Thank you www.marijuanaseeds.co.za

  12. Aha I think the starting product I tried with must have been too saucy and not "budder" enough. It was a sativa type that I attempted with, possibly need to do with more waxy indica type bud. Currently trying jar tek to make THCA crystals by raising heat in the glass over some days. I'm getting some nucleation so its beginning

  13. I dono... Maybe due to growing experience I can say that I treat coco the same way I treat my soil... Feed when the medium is light. A new grower does not have this experience to know when their plant has had too much, or is getting too little... And therefore pens are vitally important to a new grower.... Im in the same boat as you... I actually don't even know where my pens are!! But it took me years to get to this point and I feel new growers need to use pens to get acquainted with how their meduim works and what does what when how and shit. I know that my nutrient regime is around 600ppm and pH is around 6.1 once iv added my nutes to the feeding water. Also zero problems... Except for thrips... Those Lil fucks

  14. @oldsandals Hi there, glad to hear you have been getting some good use out of your press. The process you mention was derived and mapped out for a client based on the Nugsmasher process in this video attached. I have not personally been through the entire process. Interested to hear more about your results or lack of? If anyone is interested, here is my mapped out process being referred to which is based on the attached video . THC-A Isolate Manufacture Process.pdf

  15. Small update. GDP is ripening up nicely. Starting to see mostly cloudy trichomes, busy waiting for that amber. I'd like to see half amber trichomes before cutting. Royal Gorilla is still a ways away, plenty of fattening up to do and trichomes are still clear and small. I think I won't ripen the Royal Gorilla as much as the GDP, maybe as soon as I spot a single amber I will cut. GDP RQS

  17. Yeah, America is doing some hectic shit with these strains... The names are hard to keep up with, and THC percentages are being pushed higher and higher, I'm pretty sure that soon there's gonna be a whole range of 30+% THC strains for you to select from. Lol. I was also considering checking out some Canadian seed banks.

  18. IN SA.. Marijuanasa.co.za has also some nice selection.. even I find em rather expensive. But grew some seeds from those too.. shipping zero problems.

  19. don't cut those, fold them down.. they still can use the leaf for gas exchange. I have a grow report here, they got me a bit with speed. And I was way behind with fertilizing. Plants reached about 50cm and had 50g average on.. so not the best yield.. but the smoke makes all worth it. I have Gelato on order.. I want to do the compare of the TS3000 and the QBs with Gelato and Pineapple Express Autos.. use 2 strains, each get same amount plants and same pot configuration on the same tent area. Then I wanna see the yield differences. OK.. and get more Gelato, is still my No1 smoke.

  21. Had the plants out in the sun today as I have been fiddling with the grow area. Just couldn't resist taking a pic of the gelato. She is so frosty and stinks up any area you place her in, even outside in the open. I see why @Prom is so fond of this strain. Would be nice if she was bigger, but I will take quality over quantity any day.

  22. Geez what a crok of shit!! It's been months since anyone even noticed them... They seem locally manufactured as the rest of the world is completely oblivious to its existence... The website still doesn't have a decent breakdown of elements and it has a R420 price tag... Talk about baited as fuck!! For the price I would rather stick to tried and tested nutrient formulations and not infoless swamp juice @Ill_Evan, shot for the mention Holmes, but my teas can't really be considered as a nutrient source, no matter how amazing they are hehe... Benificial bacteria and fungi have a home in my tents and I rate this takes all the hard work out of growing

  23. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody in this thread has gone and used this stuff I'd rather look at @CreX's 'Teas, Teas, Teas' thread and mix my own shit than buy this.

  24. All things considered, pretty bloody fantastic. No follow ups needed, payment was smooth. Will definitely use them again in future.

  25. Wow, quite the impressive yield there! I am also leaning more towards auto's and am growing my first one now (Dark Devil from Sweet Sweeds), but am also playing with Fem's. Want to get a bit of experience with both. But this is definitely something to look up to, well done!!

  27. Hey Crex, not sure how I missed this one! I'm starting to agree that coco is the way to go over soil. I can see they both have advantages. 1st time I'm going to try it out, but I figure as long as I stick to the feeding schedule, make gradual increments in any big environmental/feeding changes, and look for early signs of problems by looking at the plant I should be fine.

  29. Lol, thank you for making it a soft blow.. I guess the stress was a bit too much. It was a female seed, and a freebie at that. Its a pity it took so long to show sex, I could've vegged the Inzane out a bit more Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  32. So yeah, potentially the worst news yet... Are these balls? Lol They look like it, but I'm in denial. Put me out of my misery, please. I don't think this strain took well to the HST... She's been in shock ever since the lollipop and major defol, coupled with an iron deficiency and possible inability to process Phosphorus and Calcium efficiently for about 2 weeks prior... It happens, I just need confirmation so I can chuck it out of the tent. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  33. You're correct... I flushed the Inzane as a control to gauge if one of the plants were way out of range, although it was about 40L less than what was seen by the Black Fire... The pots are 10L I agree that the BF needs to be fed, but I wanted to wait for her to look relatively healthy again. I understand immobile defs taking longer to work itself out, but things aren't looking that grand either way. The leaves haven't bounced back yet but the yellowing is fading into green again so yeah I feel like BF will be okay in time, but today I have reason to believe she hermied on me. Will post it shortly for more opinions, but I'm pretty sure... Such a bummer Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk

  35. Entries have officially closed. We will not be running a public opinion poll for our SOTM anymore as there have been too many issues with it in the past. Namely cheating and voter recruitment, which then leads to disputes. We therefore will be announcing the nominees sometime this week and will then begin our voting with the voting panel. If all goes well we should be able to announce winners later this week or early next week.

  37. A week of drying, and I spent the entire weekend trimming all this up. Lost about 170g to bud rot, caused mainly by the massive Caterpillar damage. Managed to manicure 260g that's in the bottles and about another 50g hanging. Really not a bad smoke at all considering the harvest was a bit early. I'll grow one out next year again, but in the ground.

  38. I bought just before lockdown, didnt get any seeds free though they blessed me with 2 packs of skins with card filters, packed really nicely but had to wait for the lockdown before I got them at level 4. Grown their GSC, 3 times now and their stuff has always been my favorite of the serval grown.

  40. Dusted off the 'ol DSLR and took some vanity shots of the ladies. Also wanted to get a closer look at the colours and trichome development. I like the colour coming from the GDP. The Royal Gorilla still has work to do. GDP RQS

  41. Getting some nice colour and aroma from the GDP, little bit of frosty bits too Royal Gorilla looking to flower for much longer still. Not much more different since the last update. The yellowing is from sending too much juice to the QB. I now know what the maximum perimeters are so hopefully won't mildly burn anymore plants

  43. Aweh gromies. Hope all are doing well, despite the absolute monumental bulls#$t, bollocks and f$ckenings happening in our world. Herewith... 1-2. Two of our Chocolope clones going golden with the colours of autumn. Was hoping for a bit more purple but doubt our min temps will do the job. Trichs are still a bit clear, have to wait another week or so. 3-4. Mango/Swazi mama that was revegged and is now flowering out. Rock hard pungent buds on this lady. 5-6. A petite Fruitpunch lady doing her thing, still a while to go for her. With all this lockdown shenanigans I managed at long last to get my hands on some organic food for the ladies. (All Sold out - awaiting stock) Suppliers recieved stock for the soil making. Got a decent sized(about 200lt)batch mixed up with added kraal manure, dosed generously with AACT and covered it up. Another 120lt of compost from our pile and we should be good. Our whole garden runs on this soil, from the sweet potatoes to the onions, chilli's and herbs. Starting an experiment with grenadillas in the greenhouse(where the vervets can't steal them) Brewed a kick ass alcoholic beverage from them before, going to replicate it with my own fruit. Cheers vir eers.

  44. Veg.. way more K then N... sorry, bro.. but your fertilizer disqualifies rather harsh.. needs more N in Veg... POINT! Looks like somebody mixing stuff on good hopes. With those numbers.. wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot limbo pole. N- 25%, P- 5% and K- 20%.. we would have a argument starting.. but your numbers look plain wrong for vegetative growth on cannabis (at least to my knowledge)
