Below my test of Hybrid strains using @oldsandalsmethod without cob husks and the other some skunky sweet cheese strain. The test without the cob is @TotemicChocolope haze, a dank compaction of sticky stinky gooeyness3 points

Lmao I've made this mistake... The sadness when I realised its the wrong site, lol. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk3 points

LOL I went to Marijuanaseeds.com and not Co.za . Com selection is beyond conceivable With 14 thousand strains to choose from... I doubt I would even be able to make a choice3 points

My plan is try them all (insert evil laugh here). Then move to the next breeders stock, must explore and taste all we can in this lifetime. Hopefully find that special one, one day.2 points

Correct @Ill_Evan They say... K2 Feminized will take you as high as the mountain tops with her snow capped buds and THC levels of up to 20%. A hybrid of White Widow, with a flowering time of 9 weeks where she will produce big yields of spicy and sweet terps and a well balanced high2 points

Just had a cheeky puff puff of a tiny bit of the GDP now, I think once it's dried and cured it's going to be much enjoyed ..and for those that have stuck around thus far, a sneak peak of things to come:2 points

After 3 days of almost anaerobic sweating and fermenting, I open the bag and get the dank smell of fermenting sugar cane and gherkins or capres. Overpowering yet sweet in nature. Left cobs to surface dry before revac-sealing. Will leave to cure vacsealed inside cob for 1 more week before first sample and final vacuum seal for at least a month. More schlep compared to air / jar cure, however, if this method results in a viable edible product, then I'm sold, and may reduce my ingestion by smoking.1 point

We gave the Mars 144 also a short measurement with the Apogee Quantum Flux sensor. And were rather impressive too 127 Watt veg it makes 520 micromol at 45cm 178 Watt flower it brings 980 micromol at 30cm Some rather killer numbers for the consumption.1 point

@Prom I also dislike running my QB's very high, even 90W is a bit on the high side although they're capable of it. People just thumbsuck power figures now to help make the product appear more powerful. Also with additional diodes they can handle a bit more power. If running passive cooling, you may want to monitor the heatsinks though and considering moving your air circulation fan to blow over the top of the heatsinks a bit - keeping them cool will help prolong the lifespan of the diodes. As for multiple drivers, well, it also depends how many QB's you are running... I am running 2x drivers at the moment, so even if one driver does die (very unlikely to happen anytime soon after purchasing a new unit), I still have light going so not the end of the world until I get to take a look. I do have spare drivers so I could do a swap out and get at least some of the lights up and running again. With their 3 to 7 year warranties, I really don't think one needs to worry much about a Meanwell driver dieing within its warranty. Not saying it is not impossible and I have not actually used one for that long, although they have been making power supplies for years and I imagine they'd use quality components and caps etc. to ensure the drivers last at least for the warranty period. Otherwise you just get it swapped out under the warranty I guess. Curious to get some figures from you of how a QB with LM301B/h diodes compares against a TS3000 in terms of PAR and such. 6x QB288's at 450W vs a TS3000 which is 450W if I recall correctly? Spacing of the QB's would need to be optimized to ensure a nice even spread. That puts the QB's at 75W per QB, could try 5x QB288's vs a TS3000 as well but I personally dislike running the QB's higher than 90W each. They're more efficient when run a bit lower, although if you have access to a quantum sensor, you can do the tests and see what the sweet spot is I guess. Will be curious to find out1 point

Nice one bro, congrats on the harvest Be sure to check out schwazzing defol method. Especially good to mazimize yield in small spaces. Works well if plants are healthy and being fed, which is all groovey in your setup. Nice flowers man, do u have her as a mom, doing another run u could max her out propper.1 point

Harvest Day - GDP Just finished harvesting the GDP. I think a donked up a bit with how I structured this plant. I intentionally kept a few side shoots quite low down on the plant and the flowers never really developed fully at all, just a couple hairs with barely a bud formed. I ended up chucking most of them. The buds on the main stems came out really nice, but much smaller than anything I've done before. I think keeping the side shoots took away a lot of energy from the main stems and I think this decision was detrimental to the entire yield. I am going to purely focus on the main stems on the next run for sure. Lessons learnt.1 point

Howzit my fellow green fingers.. So after a few weeks of curing she's kicking my ass good and sollid. I'm happy with the outcome.1 point

Time for an update Not much has happened, as I had major problems with the Blueberry plant I kept all the rest of the girls steady just giving water and kept them all in 10L pots till I could save the Blueberry. I managed and so here we have al 4 girls in their final 20L pots, pulled a scrog net over them and shoved a pallet under them to help with the cold temps at floor level. Trying to save the Blueberry set me back a good three weeks, so they are only on the 6th week of the feeding schedule right now and thinking I'm gona push them till about 9/10 weeks. Wana get some serious strech so I can clear out the under canopy. Other than that, the 5th plant that was also a Blueberry problem plant moved over to intensive care, plus there was never meant to be 5 plants in this space.1 point

You can build a ceramic heater array, depending on the size of your grow room. Wire them up and then control them via a thermostat. - No exposed bars, no fans, no extra light (can run in day an night). Only downside is if you have a big grow area you're going to fork out some cash for tthem as they get expensive. https://reptilecity.co.za/product/exo-terra-heat-wave-lamp-ceramic-heat-emitter-60-watt/1 point
