  4. Thanks for the welcome . I’m A Long time Stoner but first time grower . Hoping to expand my knowledge and learn from fellow growers Here. Decided to go with a indoor grow for my first grow as its out of season for outdoor and lockdown came, so took up a new hobby. Growing in coco/perlite with a Gavita 750w . Currently growing: dutch passions Glueberry auto Strainhunters Caboose T.H seeds Critical hog Here’s some pics of my girls started 01/04 and 06/04 ,just switched them to flower and the auto is about 2 weeks into flower now. I’ve Made a lot of mistakes so far but will learn from them and do better on my next grow. Can’t wait to harvest my own home grown

  7. Have had that happen before with photos. The primary growth seemed to stop as if self topped and then suddenly the 2x secondary growths started sideways. On an auto it might affect yield depending on how long the plant pauses due to an autoflowers time line. She may still yield some good bud. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  8. Welcome home. You have some skills cleaning and growing from the looks of it, glad to have more fellow students of this wonderful plant.

  9. Nice! I would still lower the light a bit more... Try get 15 to 20cm lower, or aim for 20cm above the canopy and they will love that! And nice improvement from the space tote!! My this cupboard grow some danky dank for you for years to come!

  10. I am just going to revive this thread as I have started up the grow tent again now that it is to cold to grow outdoors. At the moment doing some 30:1 Dr Seedsman CBD. And Spumoni Orange Kush Cake and Diesel. And I decided to give Autoflowers another go. Fastbuds Original Cheese is the strain. They are by far the biggist autos I have done. Also the tent received some upgrades. New fans, wifi switches and a heater. So far it is looking good the pics was taken one week after switching into flower.

  11. Nice one. Good start. I would advise you to look into micro organisms in the form of compost tea or something like explogrow.

  12. Also scored a cupboard from my sister who just immigrated, so moved the ladies out the tote.

  13. Evening 420 Fam, I got this Auto Amnesia have from Fastbuds and popped seed it into the final pot 19 April and she sprouted the 23rd April, then she slowed down and didn't grow for about a month. I repotted it into a small pot to save her and see what happens. Started feeding her once I saw new growth and it looks it has been topped!?

  18. Ah bleakness cap!! Im sure you have the support of the okes here and nearby to you... I'm sure there are okes with fire clones you could tend to and as for the blue dreams... I would let her finish... I had a plant last run that I thought was gonna be so shit and unsmokable....and it came through in the last few weeks... I think all they way to week 9 I was in the edge and wanted her to come out... Curled leaves and all haha.. Let them live and see what happens

  19. Shortly after my last update I decided to bin the blue dream as it just continued stretching and produced little to no trichomes. Take a look at these pics below, she had no hope. This was at 6 or 7 weeks through flower and she was still stretching. I have 2 of her clones in flower now and they are showing similar signs just not as bad. Will show you further down in the post. She's a dud pheno Fortunately the Pineapple Express (left in pic below) went alright and I managed to get a decent yield out of her. She was chopped at 11 weeks through flower. On the right are the 2 blue dream clones Fast forward to now... These clones are all in my soil mix which has been recycled. Again the blue dream clones will not stop stretching and they are nearly at 6 weeks through flower. The Pineapple express clone in the pot closest is growing better than her mother in the previous round and is putting out a nice aroma and decent trichome production. The blue dreams, again, are putting out almost no resin and I see myself possibly having to bin these 2 as well... which really is gutting Pineapple Express Clone Week 5 Day 3 Blue Dream Clone - Week 6 Day 4 - She isn't clawing like her mother did but it almost looks like she wants to. Her flower development is poor and continues to stretch at week 6... So in conclusion I'm sitting with shitty genetics that I'm growing here. I have a whole bunch of hobbies that have been stealing my funds so I'm not able to buy good genetics right now, just can't afford it. I have a whole bunch of seeds from @Totemic that I'm aching to grow but regulars don't suit my current situation as I don't have a space to veg out the seeds till they are able to show sex. I will more than likely make a plan regarding that though soon as I'm long overdue for a Totemic tester run. I apologise for the lack of updates guys but there really isn't much excitement to this grow so the enthusiasm for me to update hasn't been there. Will give another update a few weeks down the line.

  21. Awesome entries this month guys, loving them. All the best to everyone! Also a big thanks to @420SA for hosting these comps, it genuinely adds more excitement to my grow every month since I knew about it. I've only ever seen this kind of thing on international sites in fully legalised and regulated countries, so it's really cool that it's being done here as well. 22. Yea give it time, Rome was not built in a day, and weed doesn't become dank overnight. For now they should be pretty good... Give them a week like GGG said and take it from there... They will most likely love the new leg space and you will see them all happy and green in no time. How often are you watering?

  26. Below my test of Hybrid strains using @oldsandalsmethod without cob husks and the other some skunky sweet cheese strain. The test without the cob is @TotemicChocolope haze, a dank compaction of sticky stinky gooeyness

  28. A week of drying, and I spent the entire weekend trimming all this up. Lost about 170g to bud rot, caused mainly by the massive Caterpillar damage. Managed to manicure 260g that's in the bottles and about another 50g hanging. Really not a bad smoke at all considering the harvest was a bit early. I'll grow one out next year again, but in the ground.

  29. Here’s how you do it: Build a plywood box and make drawers for it. The drawers don’t have bottoms. Buy filter elements and put them in the drawers. Easy to clean.

  30. Week 7 update : Finally feeling like I’m getting close to the end with these girls! CP#3 has really started showing off compared to the other two girls. I’m seeing a fair amount of cloudy trichomes on her and the under side of her leaves have started to fade out. She’s the frostiest of them all so far ! CP#2 on the other hand is struggling due to Wpm. It’s clear that the plant took a bit of a toll bc of this. CP#1 is the bud beast, her buds have not stopped swelling and are looking very inviting All plants are fading leaves from the bottom, wondering how does one "flush" and achieve fade when not using bottled nutrients? All plants getting weekly doses of humic acids & LAB aswell as topdressings of bokashi and malted barley. Chempie #1 Chempie #2 Chempie #3 #3 closeup

  31. Still think you shouldn't filter your intake?

  32. There is a lot of info on the net regarding growing this plant. Much of that info is outdated, but regurgitated as gospel. You could run 30 deg with HPS and not have major issues. Trick is balancing the most important factors- heat, humidity, light intensity, substrate EC, substrate moisure level, substrate pH. LEDs don’t radiate much infrared, which HPS ( and the sun) does. That infrared energy (heat) is one of the drivers of photosynthetic processes, used by the plant to manufacture sugars. You need to achieve a LST (leaf surface temperature) of 27 deg plus or minus. If your cab is running at 28 ambient with led, your probably only hitting 24 deg LST. Your plants aren’t performing at their best. I’m still getting my head around a lot of this myself, but my results are proving this new info correct. I have pretty good control of RH, which is an important factor. I have lowered my daytime ambient temps from 31 to 29 for the last two weeks of flower, nighttime ambient temp from 25 to 24. RH from 60 to 40 day and night. My system runs +-5 points from those goals. I’d say it’s working.

  33. Lol Another thing you could use is the dust filter from modern computer boxes - https://www.wootware.co.za/lian-li-pt-af14-2b-removable-washable-dust-filter-mount-kit-for-140mm-system-fan.html or you can use an open cell sponge thinly sliced, or you can use medical guaze (any pharmacy) The problem here is that the more effective your dust filter is, the faster it will clog, the more often you will have to clean it.Also, when it clogs it will reduce air pressure inside and plant s might get hot.You have to find a balance between thse 2 factors.

  34. Thanks @TomHill the phresh does look legit but I'm gonna need something a little smaller. @Pvt_sToNeR I've been looking at these https://accessorylab.co.za/products/homedics-hepa-filter-for-ar-10a . I actually did look at the cone filter option but they're too small @greenkush stocking is a good go to option if there's nothing else. Would like to try use something designed for the purpose though

  35. I use Phresh Intake Filter 6 in x 12 in 450 CFM to clean my intake. When I ordered them they were R1500 incl shipping + duties. With the current exchange it is around R2000
